I don't usually go to Mexican restaurants since I'm stuck with the "we have that at home" mentality BUT I had their super burritos before for lunch and the meat was so well done. I took the chance to come back again. The cashier / waitress is super friendly and attentive! The whole vibe / aesthetic of the place is just so nice and inviting plus with the music blasting it really brings it all together. (I sadly don't have pictures) I ended up ordering La Torta Michoacana. While my friend ordered camarones a la diabla. I mean you can hardly go wrong with a torta. The meat was good the sausage was good and I had some salsa verde in the side with it which just did it for me:3. My friend and I had a little of each others food and safe to say los camarones a la diabla were in fact spicy. I kept taking some of the sauce and jalapeño slices from my friends dish to put on my food since it went so well. I did find a loose hair on my plate at some point during my meal but it wasn't in the food itself but like on the plate, the torta was covered with parchment paper and aluminum foil so crisis avoided. The oysters on the half shell were dead from a jar...shells were washed. Caldo 7 Mares was ok but not what I was used to - local variation Zi guess. 3 guests with me said food was ok, but not 4 stars. Ambiance is not good... the whole dining area including furniture needs a good cleaning... smell was also an issue, even with the doors wide open.... Loud music along with customers taking loud because of it, made it difficult to enjoy... Two separate groups of 6 men at each table (talking as if they were at a bar) didn't help... The service needs improvement as well.. 1 waitress and 1 cook, maybe there was 1 more person, but it didn't help the slow service... The food, once it made to our table was good... I personally wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone... maybe a group of guys looking to be loud and talk as if no one else with their family is sitting next to them..!!! read more

The food and service were amazing! They had delicious Chabelas as well. The environment felt very authentic and welcoming!

All I can say is I'll never return. The staff there pick and serve whoever they want to even if you came before others. Not hospitable at all and we usually love this place. I'm sure there's plenty of other good Mexican restaurants here in Salians. read more

Ok, this place is soooo good!!!! I had the shrimp tacos and the Chavela/Modelo and shrimp toppings. The Mariscada is so good, it's an array of seafood! Just make sure the waitress is changing her gloves after you pay and she serves. read more

The tortilla chips are warm when you get them and their salsa that comes with it is super good. I got a super burrito de carne asada and I'm pretty sure their tortillas are hand made so makes it that much better. The horchata does not taste packet made. The pancakes were so good Yea I am so happy! Says my grandson. The rest of us had chilaquiles rojos with some adjustments to the toppings which our waitress and cook got just right! Very friendly and accommodating and delicious. A little crowded and noisy jukebox but we got there early enough to enjoy our food. Ordered Aguachiles, which should be fresh. I was served WARM shrimp. Was it left outside all day without refrigeration?? Do these cooks have any ServeSafe training? Temperature danger zones? The onion was raw when it should've been soaking in lime juice and tenderized. The agua de jamaica was also warm which caused the ice to melt in a few minutes. 18 bucks for 2 burritos. Wow. I ordered 2 vegetarian burritos which mind you is just a burrito with no meat. They don't add any veggies to justify the extra cost. 18 bucks. That's more than almost every other Mexican food place. I don't know if it is because I'm white or they just rip off everyone but regardless that price is ridiculous. With so many other places around I will not be back. I last tried them 2 years ago and thought maybe they got better but no they didn't. Its unfortunate too because they have friendly staff and a nice spacious inside with 4 TVs and decorated nice. But for that price what the heck.
