Suite room with sofa bed

I reserved a king suite with a couch pull-out bed for the three people. The staff member who helped me check-in was friendly and attentive. They asked which floor we wanted. I chose the first floor. We were able to drop our stuff in the room 15 minutes earlier than check-in time. Never hurts to ask if you arrive early since the worst that can happen is they said no. The suite was roomy with two separate sections, one for the pull-out bed and the other for the king-size bed. The bathroom was between the two sections, and faced the kitchen area (fridge, microwave, and coffee maker). If you have never used a pull-out bed, read the instructions provided. I used it and found the set-up was easy. I was worried the pull-out bed would be uncomfortable; however, I fell asleep quickly on it. I must have been super tired. The pillows may has also helped since they were soft and fluffy. The extra blanket served its purpose and kept me warm. Breakfast was good and provided your usual variety: toast, waffle, cereal, eggs, sausage, etc. They also provided soy milk, which I haven't seen offered elsewhere before. It's great they provided a milk alternative, in addition to milk. My mom really enjoyed the breakfast sausage and wanted to know where they brought theirs from. During our stay, the following day, the pool was closed for repair. That was the only bummer about this experience since we wanted to use the pool before checking out. The pool was open the night before until midnight; however, we were too full to go swimming. I would return to this location. Easy check-in and check-out. Friendly staff members. Close to the highway and mall.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weekday nights on a business trip. It's a perfectly fine hotel, and the staff is wonderful. That said, there wasn't anything special that stood out to me, and there was room for improvement. The room was clean, but felt very standard; plastic tub/shower combo with the shower curtain/liner in one. One thing I did enjoy was that they provide you with a loofah. The beds were OK; the mattress wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. The pillows were nice though; they had several different kinds that varied in firmness. I prefer a firm pillow so I appreciated it. The cable choices were fairly limited, and the wifi was fairly average speed-wise. The hotel itself felt very dated. I know that it's just been redone, but it did not feel that way. The carpet, especially the carpet in the hallways looked old, there were a lot of dings in the paint and walls. The hallways were otherwise white and bland. Specifically in my room, my tub had a chip in it and the desk chair seemed broken; it felt extremely wobbly when I sat in it. Breakfast was good, they had a lot of different options, so it's easy to find a selection that fits for pretty much any dietary restriction. The dining area itself was nice and clean, and the staff works to keep it stocked consistently, which was nice. They also kept an area by the elevator stocked with cookies and cold water dispensers. The front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful; they were happy to assist with any questions or requests you had. Overall, I would stay here again.

Fitness room

Was really happy with my stay here. The room was clean, and had a couch plus your standard hotel amenities. I should move in, it was bigger than my apartment! lol. Took advantage of the fitness center and could do my usual treadmill workout, and had the perfect view to watch TV while on my walk. The free breakfast was great! The food was hot and didn't taste like it was sitting around for a while. They had sausage patties, scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy, a yogurt bar, waffles, fruit, and cereal. The staff were on top of everything when anything ran low. The dining area was big, so if you're afraid of strangers, you could probably find a spot away from them. The one downside was, the food on tables and floor. It was near the end of their breakfast time, but maybe you need a staff person to focus on cleaning. Oh, check out time is noon. That's nice if you need to sleep in.

Had a great stay at country inn & suites! Despite being under massive renovations while we were there, it was still well put together, organized and clean. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. There was even a recycling bin, not something you see that often in hotels. It was a snowy cold weekend and we really enjoyed the indoor hot tub and pool area to relax! An endless supply of cookies, coffee, hot tea and cocoa were always available and comforting in the cold weather. The breakfast had a good spread with eggs, sausage, corned beef hash, yogurt, waffles and fruit! All in all a nice stay and we would definitely return!

Girls getaway weekend. We came in for the Appleton Octoberfest. The hotel was on the street that…read morethe festival was on. So it was nice not having to drive. Don't worry about noise from the festival Saturday night. The festival ended at 5:30 pm and the city cleaned up the streets so quickly, it didn't even look like anything happened the day before. The staff was so helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. The workout room and hot tub was great. Parking garage next door. Rates for daily parking & in/out parking. Was a bit of maneuvering with the luggage cart to/from the garage to the hotel via the elevator. They use Uber for the complementary ride to the airport. Overall recommend the CopperLeaf.

This is a charming hotel in downtown Appleton that hits the right balance of location (plenty of…read morerestaurants, bars, and coffee nearby), room amenities (refrigerator, microwave, fireplace, coffee maker) and service. I arrived in the evening and didn't know my way around the area to find hotel parking. I called and the service staff came out to point me in the right direction - much appreciated. Speaking of parking, the only bummer is that it isn't attached to the hotel. You're parking in a city owned ramp so anyone can park there. I happened to visit during an unexpected "peak" time because the ramp was very full so that made in/out a little less convenient. Daily rate is reasonable at $6 with $10/day if you want multiple in/out access. Rooms are cozy but quite snug IMO. There isn't much moving around room between the fireplace, desk and armchair. Appreciate all these "extras" but it didn't leave much room otherwise. Small touches like luxury robes and suitcase rack were nice.

HAIR, TRASH, GRIME in the room. Stuff LEAKING FROM THE WALLS. I literally wouldn't believe it if I hadn't witnessed it with my own eyes! The pool area was also so gross. Greasy fingerprints on all of the games. Yes they were remodeling, but non of the things we experienced were because of that! SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Also.. We never mentioned our experience to the front desk. The lady working was always on the verge of tears. Upon check-in, even before she greeted us, she told us that she didn't know what she was doing. They were transitioning to a new system and she had no proper training. Management was not supporting staff and she felt completely overwhelmed. So I guess we just didn't want to add to her stress and be the annoying people complaining to her.

I had to be insistent on the phone to not book it which was annoying. There's some lack of information they provide: pool, parking and breakfast availability so we had to do some digging and ask when we checked in. We stayed here two nights. The decor is outdated. I'd say the room was decently cleaned, but they did leave a used washcloth on the shower. The worst part about this place is the noise. We were in 2402 and the sound traveled CLEARLY. I could hear conversations next door and a bit through the hallways. The door slams from other rooms woke me up at night.

Extra shout-out to Lisa, who provided us with amazing recommendations for food and transportation to/from the Packers game! It's a Hilton, so you might already have an expectation based on past experience. Temper this with being in Appleton and it's still living up the reputation. A few minor cons... * We were in the South tower (I think??), and they only have one elevator, which is fairly slow and small. * The escalator up to the parking garage stopped working on our checkout day, so we had to haul our luggage up the steps. (If there was an alternative/elevator nearby, there was no signage indicating this). * The parking facility is across the street from the hotel, which made things a bit confusing. (It wasn't too expensive, though, and it was pretty simple to get in and out). * One of the bars/restaurants looked to be closed the entire time we were there, but again... no signage. All that being said, though, there are huge benefits to staying here! * Super-clean rooms! * Very comfortable living space and beds! * Nice modern design without being pretentious or posh! * Amazing staff!! * A Starbucks on the lobby level near the front desk! * Peak location in downtown Appleton near several bars, restaurants, attractions, and Lawrence University! * Several options in the hotel itself for lounges/restaurants! The next time I stay in town, I will try to book here first! It's a great location with great amenities and a focus on quality and excellence!

For a Friday night in a busy area, they should Ed had two people working the desk. The poor soul working had four of us in line and the phone ringing off the hook. He did a great job with keeping his cool and making sure we were aware of everything that came with our rooms. We booked a king bed-room, and it was great. Yes, there are odds and ends for defects and things that COULD be repaired, but everything worked, bed and pillows were comfy, we got vouchers for a yummy buffet breakfast at the restaurant next door, and the atrium area is a really nice ascetic.
