I called AMCO the the morning after Christmas and the were the the same day early afternoon. Robert was the project lead. He was able to to restore water with supplies he had on his truck. He quoted me a soft quote over the phone and made an appt same day to see the job for an official quote. 45 minutes after the appt time, I called to confirm he was still coming. Although he was a pleasant fellow, he said he's sorry; he wants to make everyone happy, but they build houses, not doors with stairs and didn't have time to take on my job. I don't have a problem with being busy or only talking on big jobs. However, to make an appt and have someone wait, not show up and then say sorry we can't do your job is bad a business practice. Please be honest and don't waste people's time if you feel the job won't bring in the revenue you require. Our time is important too.

We also had them coordinate with a plumber to remove a jacuzzi tub that was taking up useful space. The project is gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. Michelle at the shop was easy to work with and accommodating. Cesar and his crew knocked the job out quickly. A few small imperfections in less than 0.5% of the installed planks was addressed and we couldn't be happier with the job they did. All charges and labor were at the low end of expected rates but the quality was definitely there. We highly recommend the store and would go there again.

He had to return to complete the other half. He text the night before telling me not asking that he will be at my home at 8:30 the following morning. I advised him that that time would not work and gave him several options. I did not hear from him after the last text but I could tell that his tone was changing. I was not sure which day he was coming so I text him to clarify. He did not respond. The following day, I left but was not far from home just in case. From looking at my phone I could see that he was at the door. I immediately turned around and returned home. In the meantime, I called him to let him know I was heading back. He did not respond to my calls. Finally, he picked up and I said I will be right there. He hung up on me. When I returned home, he would not look at me or acknowledge me. I asked him why did he hang up on me? He told me he had nothing to say. He threw the receipt on my counter and proceeded to work without saying a word. I immediately called my husband to inform him of what was going on as he was not home. After Thom was done he immediately left but remembering to take his check. I followed him and asked him what was the problem. He commence to argue and asked me what did I think? I honestly had no idea. I have never experienced this type of behavior from anyone especially someone who I was paying way more than I should have to do work in my home. Needless to say I will never have him in my home again!!

Once he got out here it was 1 days work to fix the roof and it does look good and no longer leaks. However, he left a huge mess in our yard for another couple months, we got a nail in our tire from it, I finally messaged him and complained about the mess and he came out and cleaned up the bigger stuff. He also tore down an old building out back and left broken glass all over our yard. I have pets who go out there and am about to have a baby and now I'm not going to feel comfortable letting my kid play in the back yard because of how scattered the broken glass is, I'll never be able to get it all cleaned up! Can't trust him to come out and clean it up in a timely manner so going to have to do it myself at 9 months pregnant. Shingle work- good Ceiling repair- ok Professionalism- not very good. Brought his kid with him and the kid asked to pet my dog then threatened to kick him Timeliness- bad Cleanup- awful

He was quick to respond and came out the next day. It was a very no hassle experience. It was such…read morea limited interaction that it is hard to have much to say, which is a good thing really. I don't want to have to have a whole lot of interaction for a simple job. If you did, then that indicates a problem, and I had no problem here. The following issue is minor and shouldn't dissuade any one from doing business with them. The only thing that I wasn't thrilled about was the price. Maybe $300 is the bare minimum for him to come out, i'm not sure, but he took less than twenty minutes to fix my roof. I wasn't home, but thanks to my Ring doorbell, I saw him climb on the roof at 12:00 and then climb down 12:05 and take the ladder away and not come back. While on the roof I saw him throwing the coupe damaged shingles down. At 11:45 he was not there, so sometime between 11:45 and 12:00 he showed up and was done by 12:05. Because of how quick he came out and how response he was, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt and believe he treated my job the same as he would anyone in the terms of cost. He may have even escalated my job above another because it was a small repair and it was during a few little rainy days. All I can really compare it to is the other repair men I have had come out in the various fields like plumbing, electrical and others and have an idea of what prices generally can run. My cynical side has noticed a pattern that if I am not home for the work then many tend to over charge the cost and I think that has to do with the lack of supervision and because I live in a decent home many see that as an opportunity and take advantage of that. Again, I am not saying they did that here. Only saying that $900 an hour ($300 for 20 minutes) seems a bit high for almost any field. I would not hesitate to call upon them again for work, I would just receive a few estimates.
