The various cooking classes I have attended have each been a great experience. The guest chefs and Honeycomb Kitchen Shop team members hit all the spots. They serve up: personable and entertaining chefs who truly know their craft; delicious food and beverages, top-quality cooking equipment; and a discount on all of your favorite cooking equipment the day of the class. The Honeycomb Kitchen Class offerings are engaging and make the cooking fun and educational. Great for a date night, girls' night out, or interactive experience with friends and family visiting from out of town. They also will customize a class that can be used for corporate team building or even a wedding shower. WARNING - Honeycomb Public Classes The Warning The Honeycomb Public Classes have 6 tables which each accommodate 4 participants, for a total of 24 people. However, for the July 22nd class "Cooking with Beer" they sold 25 tickets to this event. This meant one of the tables had 5 participants instead of the standard 4. When you purchase tickets to the Public Cooking Classes, don't assume because you have purchased 4 tickets you will have a table dedicated to your group. Honeycomb may sit an extra participant at your table. Our Experience Upon check in our group of 4 was directed to Table 5. On our way over to the table we noticed there was already someone seated at the table, which normally only seats 4 participants. Upon asking the young lady at the check in desk why there are 5 people at the table she said: "Well sometimes that happens when we have more than 24 participants". I told her we purchased 4 tickets to ensure we would have a dedicated table for our group. Since that did not work, I asked the young lady, how we could ensure we had a dedicated table for future classes. Her response: "Oh, you might try putting that request in the comments section when you purchase your tickets". We received no advanced warning that this was going to happen. There was not much we could do at that point, so we continued on with the cooking class. Early in the class one of the Honeycomb owners announced we had special guests attending the class. The special guests were two of her employees from the Honeycomb retail side of the business. This left me wondering why the extra person was not at the special guests table instead of ours... It should be noted that with the exception of 1 extra bratwurst, our table with 5 participants had exactly the same quantity of ingredients as the other tables. This left our table splitting the food 5 ways instead of 4, but at the same price. Conclusion Honeycomb overbooked the class, and transferred their mistake on my group, and we paid for it. Final Score Honeycomb makes an extra $75.00 for the night at the cost of a single bratwurst. Disappointing... read more

We had purchased two tickets to cook with the chef from Cafe Rue Orleans, Maudi Schmitt. Her restaurant is fabulous if you haven't been there. Her Cajun sauces and flair are next to magnificent. It was such a treat to be able to cook her Cajun brunch of eggs Benedict with crab cakes and the Pontchartrain sauce. We also had seasoned Jazzy potatoes. Both were scrumptious. We got two complimentary adult beverages and nonalcoholic beverages also. The starter Bloody Mary and condiments to add to it were a special treat. We were paired with another couple and we had such a good time paired with them. We didn't get their name, but it was such a joy to cook with them. The atmosphere is calming and our host was a fabulous chef for all us beginners. She made us feel so comfortable making her wonderful fare. The cost is $75.00 per person. We came home with recipes and ate what we made. We felt we got our monies worth. We were so happy to be able to select this chef. There are only 24 openings and these classes fill up super fast! Sign up for the newsletter and enjoy a class. The kitchen shop connected to the classroom has such beautiful dishes, popular gadgets and fun cookbooks. We had a great time. Just a note, we drive two hours to make this class and would do it again in a heartbeat. read more

Honeycomb Kitchen Shop - I picked up these cute Beaver Lake glasses here and they are my favorite! - Cooking Schools Near Me - Rogers, Arkansas

The ladies who own this store really know what they're doing. I've been anxiously waiting for a cooking class, so when coworkers asked if I wanted to attend their cocktail class I immediately said yes. I'm not big on cocktails (I prefer wine and vodka/sodas), but this set the bar. The mixologist from pink House Alchemy spent the entire day preparing for our class. We arrived and everything was perfectly placed. We created FOUR cocktails and were served heavy hors dourves. I immediately regret eating a meal before the class (wasn't sure how heavy the food would be). The ladies seriously exceeded my expectations in the food department. The cocktail experience was fantastic - not only did they taste great, but it was fun learning how to properly shake a shaker, pour a jigger and grind a muddler. My favorite drink was My Honeybee. I learned more than I could imagine about the cocktail world and walked away with a new Rogers glass (complimentary) and the Mexican Chile Syrup. Props to all the mixologists in the world. Only improvement I suggest is to send a friendly email reminder the day before reminding students of the class, time, what to expect, etc... I love this store in downtown Rogers and cannot wait for a cooking class opportunity! read more

I just visited this shop today and absolutely loved this place! They have a great selection of anything you could possibly need in your kitchen. I have been needing new dish towels so I made the trek over to downtown Rogers and stopped in after I saw their towel wall posted on Instagram. They had a great selection of decorative and functional towels so I was able to find exactly what I needed. They had an amazing gadget wall with tons of fun options. This would be a great place to pick up a few little things to throw together for a house warming gift! I loved getting to shop around and see what this place had to offer. I always see their awesome cooking classes posted and will now definitely make the effort to sign up! If you're headed over to downtown Rogers, be sure to stop and take a look around Honeycomb! read more
