I just wanted to give a shout out to this company and in particular, Trevor. I had purchased.DeWils…read morekitchen cabinets from this shop 13 years ago before it even belonged to its current owner. The finish on some of the cabinet doors near the handles had deteriorated somewhat, and I was looking for some way to either replace the doors or stain them. Trevor was able to order the same stain that the company originally used on my cabinets and he even refinished two of the worst looking doors (the ones under my kitchen sink) himself. He did all of this at a very reasonable price and in very good time. I'm so thankful to him for taking this on as I really didn't know how I was going to fix this issue myself. He also tracked down the original touch up kit that DeWils had provided with the kitchen cabinets and ordered one for me. I really appreciate that he went out of his way to help me with this problem. I think most people would have just told me that they couldn't help me with such a small project as they had not sold me the cabinets in the first place. It is rare to find such excellent customer service!

This review is not only about craftmanship, showing up every day and cleaning up at the end of the day. IT IS ABOUT ETHICS. During the job, he was always about the least costly and most direct means of solving a problem. He never suggested a resolution for his convenience or monetary gain over Doing the Right Thing. I called him recently because the wall outside the steam shower was saturated with water. He came to see it within a day or 2. His team took the wall apart looking for the source and after returning several times, resolved the problem. I never received an invoice. When I thanked him he said, "It's really more than just the money for us..,If you need us we're just a call away to see that you're taken care of."

We worked with Sharon to help find the right remnant. Once we picked the stone remnant with Sharon's help, they came out and demoed the original sink countertop and then took measurements. The full install with a new sink went smoothly and was done shortly after the measures were taken. We had a great experience overall with Straight Line.

Well, I'll be upfront and say that Tony never did a flooring project for me, but not because I…read moredidn't try to set it up. He came out to do an estimate for me (he was late; I had to call him an hour after he'd said he'd arrive, and he "rescheduled" for later that afternoon), then said he'd have the quote to me in a few days. I gave him a week, then I called him, at which point he said he had the estimate and would send it over that evening. I confirmed my email address by sending him an email to which he could simply reply (at his request), but the estimate never came. If he didn't want the job, he could have at least shown some professional courtesy and just told me. Not a lot to ask. Tony might be very good at installing flooring when he feels like it. He's not very good at communicating.

Tony came out to inspect (and because he has been doing this kind of work for the past 50 yrs) , was literally able to feel what was damaged and what was not. It was actually only a very small area near the shower door, none at the base of the toilet, only a lifted seam. He truly has integrity, pride in his work and charged only a fraction of what we would have paid the fungal company. He completed the work very neatly/ professionally, on time, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you! Love it! Would recommend to anyone.

We came here over a recent weekend and I had a photo of a Shaw flooring that I liked. The manager…read morewas nice enough to find a matching color but they didn't carry the Shaw brand. The manager said all the flooring was just as good but unfortunately this doesn't actually give us comparable facts (veneer thickness, overall thickness of flooring, etc.). My feeling is that the brands here are limited. I looked up a brand of flooring they recommended and it was a lower end brand probably made in China. That may be just fine but I am also weary about off-gassing. Where the product is made and where the materials come from does matter to me. I'm currently looking at online venders where products come from Sweden that actually end up being similarly priced with very little off-gassing and is sustainable. I found some good contractors off Angi online and will be overseeing the project myself. While the quote given to me was reasonable (9500) for the first floor of my home, I would feel more comfortable having more choices in the material that I walk on and breath in everyday.
