The other replied, "Tiiiiimmmber!" I was looking for a great place to have my chainsaw lawn mower and generator service now that I live in town and I found my place. I have gone to other places recently and they have told me that it would take them three weeks just to look at my items I called here and was seen the same day. I had to get my chainsaw serviced because the chain slipped off and I even was missing a bolt when I brought it in. They went and got me a bolt and fixed my chain for me and now I am back in action. It looks like you can bring everything here except for automobiles and that is a wide range. I know that you will get good service as I did and now you and I get to enjoy a great repair shop together.

Took our John Deere zero turn mower in for warranty work. We have less than 30 hours on it…read more Only 3 years old still under warranty, we only use it to mow about 1acre of lawn. Used it max 6 times. They would not warranty it saying that the air filter was dirty and it caused it to blow a hole through the engine. They want almost $3000 to repair. Absolutely insane. My husband cleaned the mower after every mow. They do not work for the customer at all. The idea that a dirty air filter could blow a hole through the engine is ridiculous. (the filter was only a little dusty not plugged. You can still see the white pleats). They only want to charge you. It is a total rip off. The mileage led went out last year and they told us we could leave it there for a few months because the parts were on back order. So we told them next time. So now it's next time (still under warranty) and they are saying we denied service. Hello they didn't have the part, not to mention they are an hour away and we have to tow the mower there each time. They have no concept of customer service Their idea of customer service is to not honor the warranty and give you an estimate for more than half of what it would cost to buy a new mower. I hope John Deere takes care of their customers because united Ag and Turf in Taylor does not. Oh and they just sent this "We are going to go further in as well. It will take some time as we must disassemble the engine." Like I trust them?

We were able to figure out what was needed fairly quickly and get all the parts needed in one trip which for me is a personal record. Basically I called up looking for some information about rebuilding my engine. The guy that answered the phone sounded very disinterested in wanting my business. I told him that that I didn't expect an exact quote but that I was trying to get some range of prices outlined so I could help make a decision on what avenue I wanted to take with rebuild or replace. He first told me that he would need to pull the engine, get it apart and see what was wrong with it before he could quote me a price. I told him that the engine I have is not blown and actually runs really well, but just has a lot of miles on it and that I wanted to do something before it came to requiring a rebuild. The guy then said "So you want me to pull a number out of the air and then pull the engine out and go through it?.....$2000, but it may or may not be that". Since he never really asked any questions about what I wanted to accomplish, why I wanted to do it, if I wanted any upgrades, was it for street or track, etc. , I felt that I better not place a few thousand dollars on the line with this company. Had he simply said something like, "To do a standard rebuild assuming no major issues and with a standard rebuild kit, you are looking in the ballpark of $xxxx. If you want to upgrade anything or if we run into some major problems, those will be the biggest factor in the cost of your rebuild." He just seemed irritated that I called in the first place and all he wanted to do was anything but talk to a potential customer. The sad thing is that I got a couple referrals from some people stating that this place is really good at what they do. That may be true but because this individual did not seem like he cared about the customer, I cannot comfortably recommend them.
