The store is not huge and therefore the selection could be greater for certain things (I'm looking at you, camp stoves), but what is available is well-curated. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful, parking is solid, and the area is serviced by the HOP bus, so it's easy to get to even if you aren't driving. There is a fun atmosphere you can see right at the door with their sidewalk placard that often has jokes or trivia. This is a small place but tightly packed with stock.

If you haven't seen it, now's the time!), new product launches (Tenkara fly fishing rods/kits), and sales galore featuring Patagonia provision bites and local groups helping to make Boulder a better place (Vessel). They are able to provide minor product repairs in-store and mail larger repairs away at no charge. Should they not be able to fix your larger repair (most recently for me it was some buttons that popped off my jean short pockets) they will either provide you store credit towards a new item or return the item back to you. While their gear may be an investment they really back up their quality. Not to mention, they don't even have a time limit on returns!

When I take my old things there to put on consignment they are incredibly fair on the pricing and the people who work there are always friendly, knowledgeable, patient with me, and make it easy/enjoyable to do business with them. It's definitely the first place I go to shop for anything that's outdoor gear related. If you check out their website (that they frequently update) they list all of the different types of things that they are currently looking for people to bring in and put on consignment and you can check out some of the things that are for sale. A bonus for me is that they keep me out of the large/overpriced corporate outdoor gear stores plus I never have to deal with the hassle of listing things on Craigslist/Facebook Market Place and all the hassles that go along with that process. They definitely make my life easier and I feel lucky that they're part of our community.
