The staff helped me find the right section after I described that I needed a one piece with some support and no buckles, bows, or ties. There was a good selection, and an offer to order in a suit if it was not in my size. The little touches of a white bathrobe and hand mirrror in the dressing room, as well as the kindness and respect from the staff made the buying experience better than I've ever experienced when buying a swimsuit.

The staff helped my husband and me select everything we needed, and we spent about $1,000. Unfortunately, my swim cap ripped the second time I used it. When I returned to request an exchange, the experience was completely different. The employee immediately blamed my nails, then said she couldn't help because only the owner could approve it. The conversation became focused on whether the brand's rep would reimburse the store, which felt irrelevant as a customer simply asking for an even exchange on a $10 item. It was disappointing to receive that level of resistance over such a small issue after making a significant purchase just days earlier. Sadly, this experience means I won't be returning.

I wouldn't think to do a Yelp review on a Nordstrom Rack but I had to give this one some accolades!…read more Typical Nordstrom Rack, this one is a larger store with a good selection for both men and women along with a kids section. When I checked out, I used my Nordstrom Credit Card, as usual to get my points, but get this, you get 5% off when you used your card. Apparently only certain stores do this. A few years ago when replacing a different item, I was able to get it from Nordstrom Rack online. I fared far better than this time in person. There was not even a wisp of personal help though I could see people standing around the walls. Perhaps they were security surveillance and not sales? It was too far away to tell and we knew we were in the right department and the products were stacked so haphazardly we felt we could look as well as they might, if we could even get one to come over. We have no intention of. Using again as the online suggestion that this store had the brand we wanted was out of date or just wrong. If you are intending to browse on a whim in the past you might find something you like. But know that Target has much more personal help with the friendliest people and their online stock status is much more reliable.

Today I walked in to a mass of beautiful fabric colors for summer styles, packed so tightly on the rack it was often hard to see what the garment was. Skirts and pants need separation to view. Athletic tops and bathing suits all squished together on one bar. But not a single Toad & Co skirt as appeared in the website. The staff member was pleasant and just shrugged and said that none were there. She also said that there were no skirts at all in knee length streetwear, just dressy wrap skirts or long dress skirts. What a wasted trip for me. If you are looking for skorts, shorts, swimwear, long dresses or any sort of tops, the color palette is almost endless and the quality is good from past experience.

Ordered an item that I needed within five days, paid an extra $25 for 2-day shipping fee, only to be updated by UPS that the item wouldn't arrive for nine days. UPS is not paid by Athleta until the product arrives, so they could not change the order status. Call back to Athleta who responded with nothing more than "so sorry."
