But I don't buy their brand…read morevery often because, like others in the genre, it doesn't often fit me as most don't have petite sizing. A couple of brands (Toad and CO) do fit, though not petite specific, just flexible in shaping, so I usually just get them where I can. And this store has a good selection of theirs in addition to their own brand. But I saw dress on their internet site and the next day, I saw it on a woman about my age and size shopping at Whole Foods, and it fit her well so I called the store. It was on sale but the color I wanted was internet only but they assured me they had another color of the same dress in stock in the store so I could try it . I hustled down to try it on. I didn't like that color but the fit was great so I ordered the other while I was there as that waives any shipping charges. When it arrived I did like the color but it was a very different construction and fit, though obviously similar, dress. I could not wear it so I went back down to return it. Apparently my color was last season's release and the dress had been redesigned for this season. This staff was aware and would have warned me though she admitted not all the staff would have known that. Too bad, it would have saved me two trips with paid parking. So, ask lots of questions first. I do still like their items, the store is packed with merchandise but if you are difficult to fit or please, be sure you are aware. The return was easy, very quick and pleasant. And I do wish the staff was more uniformly consistent in training in a place where there is often only one or two on duty to question.

Her clothes are extremely well designed with hidden pockets, wonderful fabric and great styles. The salespersons at the store are friendly and if you don't find your size, they'll give you a code so that you can hopefully order it online without paying for shipping. They now also offer running dresses and are constantly working on new models to improve their design. Absolutely love their running skirts!

(Okay, so…read moretechnically, re-opened... they had previously been of the Diagonal Highway, but we won't get into semantics) As a gal who loves to run, hike, bike, and stay active, I am SO proud to see a Colorado based athletic wear company succeed. If you haven't tried Skirt Sports apparel yet- I would most definitely suggest coming in shop. Feel, see, and touch- they're known for their signature pockets built into each running skirt/capri/pant. These pockets are golden- they keep your items hidden but accessible (like those ever-growing smart phones). They also have a handy music port- so your headphones don't dangle awkwardly. Last but definitely not least- the designs! The prints! The colors! They update prints with each season, so stay on the lookout for new and fresh stuff. I will probably always be a brick-n-mortar kinda gal, so having this physical shop will make it that much easier for me to do shopping, try on items in person, and get a real "feel" for things before I make purchases. OH YEAH- almost forgot- the shop hosts a lot of special events. From running groups to fitness workouts to a phenomenal speaker series (no joke- can you say the CEOs of Justin's Nut Butter?
