Here's a breakdown of my visit: Outdated Technology: One of the first things I noticed was that the dental technology at the clinic seemed outdated. In today's dental field, the use of modern equipment and technology can significantly improve the quality of care and patient comfort. However, it appeared that Red Hill Dental may not have kept up with the latest advancements. Issues with Filling: My primary reason for visiting Dr. Liza Fartash was to get a filling on a molar tooth. Regrettably, the job was not done well. After the procedure, I started experiencing persistent pain, which I hadn't had before. When I returned to the clinic to address the issue, Dr. Fartash informed me that I needed to see an endodontist, which was concerning. Extended Pain and Infection: Following the referral, I endured two months of excruciating pain. This was a stark contrast to my initial visit, during which I had no pain. To make matters worse, I had to take antibiotics because the tooth became infected. It was disheartening to see my oral health deteriorate instead of improving after a dental procedure. Second Opinion: Eventually, I decided to seek a second opinion from a different endodontist, not the one Dr. Fartash had referred me to. To my dismay, this second endodontist confirmed that the infection in my tooth was a direct result of the poorly executed filling job performed at Red Hill Dental. In conclusion, my experience with Dr. Liza Fartash at Red Hill Dental was far from satisfactory. The outdated technology, coupled with the subpar filling procedure and the subsequent complications, left me with a prolonged period of pain and discomfort. I believe that a dentist's primary responsibility is to ensure the well-being of their patients, and in this case, it fell short of the mark.

Her one star reviews are pretty old - not my recent experience at all. Of course you should not pick a dentist by looking at Yelp reviews but if you are referred to her, don't hestiate to give her a try.

lucky at cards, unlucky at love they say... i won't comment much one way or another about that,…read morebut based on the accuracy of this kind of old-truism I wonder if there's similar advice from wise ones who know about teeth. in my case, whatever it was i had to do to get lucky about dentistry i must have done so in spades. by that twisted opening i mean to say i've had virtually no problem with cavities or root canals (whatever they are) or implants or much of anything. i also seem to be blessed, whatever that means, with luck when it comes to finding parking places in big cities, i mean like they're just always where and when i need them. others have noticed and can confirm this. so it was a bit of a shock when my regular dentist, Judy Husen who is excellent by the way, announced in a gentle voice recently that you know there's like a little problem in the very back with one of your upper molars, a crack has developed and inside something evil is developing. it's not cancer or heart disease or senility but why not address the problem sooner than later, eh? at this point I needed a bit of time to get used to this idea of losing one of my oldest friends, but then I asked for recommendations, someone who could do what was needed with as little discomfort as possible. that's how I wound up contacting Dr. Mynesberge. to cut this typically overwritten review shorter, i'll end it by the best i can say about his work: tooth was gone while i was somewhere else thanks to some combination of wonder-drugs, and to my amazement there was not a bit of after effect, no swelling, no pain, no problem. YMMV but Dr. Mynesberge is fantastic.

In my experience, Dr. Mason Lee's implant treatment resulted in a long, painful, and expensive ordeal. My two dental implants were placed without using a surgical guide, and they ended up in positions and at angles that could not be properly restored with crowns. When I asked Dr. Lee to remove the implants and redo the entire procedure, including the necessary bone grafting, he told me he preferred not to because rebuilding the bone horizontally after removing the implants might not be successful. He also said that he did not feel confident performing that procedure and acknowledged that it was beyond his limitations. At a follow-up appointment, he offered only to remove the implants. By that point, I no longer felt comfortable continuing treatment with him and decided that I wanted another implant surgeon to handle my case from start to finish. Instead of covering the full cost of correcting the problem, Dr. Lee refunded only a portion of the fees I had paid for my treatment. As a result, I had to spend many thousands of additional dollars to have the improperly positioned implants removed, undergo bone grafting, and have two new implants placed by another surgeon. Because I had to seek treatment from another implant surgeon, the entire corrective process took approximately a year and a half. It involved removing the improperly positioned implants, performing bone grafting, allowing time for healing, and then placing two new implants in positions that allowed my treatment to move forward. This experience cost me significant additional time, money, physical pain, and emotional stress--far beyond what should have been required for what is typically a routine implant procedure. I am writing this review to help other patients understand my experience before choosing an implant surgeon. I simply do not want another patient to go through what I went through. If you are considering implant treatment, I strongly encourage you to ask whether a surgical guide will be used, discuss the treatment plan in detail, and consider obtaining a second opinion before proceeding.
