Just realized how over due my YELP review for this Costco is. We've been coming to this Costco for over 6 years and this has been one of the best Costco's we've been to. Let me tell you why... NOT CROWDED: This Costco is usually less crowded than other Costco's such as the ones in LA. The parking is usually good and if you can't find closer ones then you can get parking at the farther spots... FRIENDLY SERVICE!! HOME TOWN TEMECULA STYLE!!! AVOCADOS: 10/10 They have the best avocados!! Just make sure you pick the hardest ones and then wait to eat it within 3-4 days. You can also extend its lifetime by putting it in the refrigerator after about 3 days. Take it from an ex sushi chef ;) SALAD: 8/10 You have to eat it quickly though. We love to get our greens here. Including asparagus, zucchini and spinach... DOGGIE PADS: 10/10 We have 3 indoor puppies so we need to grab 2 boxes which will last about 2 weeks ;) WATER: 9/10 Kirkland Water bottles are what we usually get. One case would last us about a month. PAPER TOWELS: 10/10 We usually get 2 packages and its lasts for about a month. SAMPLES: They are very generous with samples. From Chicken Masala, to pasta, ramen, chips, drinks, snacks, dessert, etc. You can get a free meal just by walking around Costco and circling through the samples ;) We were sold on the samples! They give DELICIOUS samples... Sometimes you would see a PIANO SALE by YAMAHA. And you might catch me playing live there as well ;) ROCK ON COSTCO!!! read more

We're lucky to have three Costcos nearby, but this is the one we always choose. Each location carries slightly different items, and this one consistently has everything we need and usually a few things we didn't know we wanted. On top of that, it's the only Costco in our area that offers diesel fuel, which is a huge plus for our SUV. The food court food is always fresh, and the staff does a great job keeping the tables clean and the area organized. Inside the warehouse, employees are friendly, approachable, and always willing to help with any questions. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by this Costco! What had originally been intended as simply a restroom stop only, turned into an admiration of a new Costco, first time visit for my wife. Very impressed with their selection of fresh flowers, a better selection than those offered closer to home. And walking through the various aisles, her admiring several items; she, as pretty much a weekly Costco regular, was amazed. I pretty much realized by then that we wouldn't be leaving without some type of purchase here. And we did pickup some sandwiches to take back to our room while we were in Temecula. I was driving through on my way north when my car started acting up. I ended up needing a new car battery and this Costco happened to be right there. I was able to find the item I needed in stock and took care of the issue right away. The service people were really helpful. I decided to pick up a few items while I was here, I was able to find what I was looking for, and the workers were very helpful when I couldn't find something. The store was very clean and well maintained and not as chaotic as some of the other Costcos I've been to. Their food court was outside which is nice, and so was the tire center. I went here twice while visiting Southern California to pick up groceries, produce and a pizza from the food court. The parking lot was packed! They had a lot of great items I can't get at the Costco I usually go to so that was a treat but when I called to order a whole pizza they said I couldn't do orders over 4. So I paid at the kiosk and waited in the kiosk pick up line for 15 minutes just for them to tell me that I had to actually go to the pizza pick up line. I then had to wait again in that line. They definitely need to inform people on which line to stand in because I was quite frustrated having my time wasted. read more

As always Costco have my favorite candy- and they have a new one (for me) that i never seen one. Of course I have to get it and try. Their service is top notch- And always crowded especially during Holidays- but don't stop me from checking out what they have. Parking is nightmare but its always been like that so just prepare yourself mentally:) read more

I absolutely loathe THIS location. I already hate all costcos, but this location is the worse one I've ever been to. The workers here are RUDE and NOT helpful. The food court is messy all the time and the food just taste gross and different than other Costcos. However the hot dog is consistent with other costcos. The chicken bake is starved and burnt most times, and the cookie is burnt tasting. The layout here in costco is inefficient and the 5$ chicken is still in a bag. There are no dogs allowed they make you show ID. Sams club is soooo much better in regards to this. The food to-go in the deli is most often than not, salty, like the pot pie, and tastes generic. The sushi here, for sure is the worse quality I've ever had for store bought sushi. Im not sure why Costco is so popular since they have the worst deals and most of everything is expensive. I don't like the setup here. Its always busy and the people who shop here are also waking up on the wrong side of the bed. I don't like the layout to the optometry and customer service booths. I wouldn't ever come here, had they not had their 5$ rotisserie chicken. read more

Excellent meat , my weekly items that I love are pet food, coconut water, butter, yogurt, cleaning products, and so much more from this location and everybody is so friendly. This Costco has gotten so bad. They are literally selling rotten food. I absolutely love Costcos and shop here weekly, but I think I've had it with this one. In the past month I've returned rotten food BEFORE ITS EXPIRATION DATE three times! That's just unacceptable. And that doesn't even count the couple of times before that, that I just threw the bad food away without getting a refund. Eventually I said "no more". They need to know we're not just going to keep letting this go. You sell me rotten food, I'm bringing it back! Asparagus- rotten! Avocados- rotten! Cucumbers- rotten! Pork Belly- rotten! Stunk so bad! Garlic- rotten. Enough is enough. Stop trying to sell us your rotten food. Don't over order or find better vendors. Disgusting! Purchased a mattress one week ago online. Was in the warehouse today and saw the same mattress on sale, quite a bit less expensive. I went to customer service and asked for a price adjustment. I was told, "We don't adjust prices for Costco online purchases." Wait, what? This is the exact same mattress and the exact same company. "We don't do that." So, I asked if I can return the mattress I purchased online to Costco. "Yes," was the reply. So now I get to load up the other mattress (lucky for me not unboxed yet), return it for a refund and then go back into the warehouse and purchase the exact same thing. I picked up some baby back ribs a couple of days ago and opened them today. Once I opened up the package, I was blasted with the stench of rotting meat. This also happened to me the last time I bought ribs at this store, which was about 3 months ago. The date on the package was marked use by March 15th, which is 4 days away. I want to add that I always bring along an ice chest to keep cold items refrigerated. I thought Costco was a first class operation, but now I have my doubts. read more

Costco was amazing at customer service and lately it seems like it going down hill slowly. The employees are rude.

Today I was at the self checkout and I found Angie with the black hair to be very rude. Not only did she insult me by asking if I was using EBT when I asked her a question, but when I summoned her over again to help find the SKU for a pineapple, she had seen that I had bulky items left in my cart and could have helped me by using her gun, and asked "did you already scan the items in your cart?" I said "no, not yet ", hoping she'd kindly help me, but she walked away. I struggled, honestly, I had to lift the case of water to the scanner, the case of vegetable broth to the scanner and a few other things to finish up. I turned to see if Angie with the black hair was occupied and that's why she chose not to help me, but she was standing like a sergeant in the middle not doing anything, gazing at me. I looked at her name tag to make sure I remembered her name. Honestly, I find that her associating me with EBT is funny, being that I have been an Executive member for over 10 years and my 2% on my shopping alone on a household of 2 is $200, so if you do the math, that's $10k. I don't have an EBT card, but her way of saying it sounded like a put down, and God bless those that need the program, no judgement. But it was the way she said it that threw me off. Another thing Angie- you clearly could have helped me with those heavy items and chose not to. You need to go back to customer service 101- because members like me who have been loyal to Costco for over a decade as an Executive member help keep the doors open. Costco is the best place to shop. Temecula has friendly and hard working employees. All their food is made with the highest standards. They have the most reasonable prices. I have been in many Costco s throughout the states. Always a pleasure shopping at all visited locations. read more

i went to Costco to have lenses placed in my frames. the clerk could not find the records of my previous purchases of frames and lenses. He looked at my frames and noticed they were Kirkland brand which i purchased here. I told him i wanted to get my new prescription of lenses in this frame. I said to him i preferred plastic lenses as i have previously purchased before. Looking at my prescription he asked if i wanted bifocals or progressive lenses, and i said "no, just single vision lenses". Then he asked me if i wanted transition lenses and i said "no" again. I said i just wanted plain plastic lenses with my single vision prescription in it. He rang up my total and i left to go home. Upon looking at my receipt when i got home i noticed he charged me $12.99 for polished edges on my lenses which he did not mention anything at the time while i was there. Now i realized that he was trying to add extra items to the sale, this being the polished edges which he did not even mention at the time. I do not care for these type of salesman waiting on me trying to increase their sales total. From now on when i shop at Costco i am going to go over my receipt in the line before i leave the checkstand even if there is a long line behind me. I came in to get some things for my Best Friend and I. We've been splitting items at Costco for the last two years since there's so much of a Savings on items we each buy on a regular basis. It's also good exercise walking the aisles. There's some great products at fairly decent prices. Costco is honestly the MVP of my shopping life. The prices just keep getting better, the quality of the food and products is solid across the board, and I somehow walk out with everything I needed plus five things I didn't know I needed. From groceries to random treasures in the middle aisles, it's all a win. The staff is great, the value is unbeatable, and every trip feels like a small adventure with a very full cart at the end. If you do not check the cold produce very carefully, you will get MOLDY rotting fruit and veggies. I has an issue with a bag of Persian cucumbers and blueberries. I think it's become a normal issue with their produce. MOLDY FRUIT, MOLDY veggies. All you can do is take it right back to them and get your money back. They need to be audited! Because something must be causing the issues with spoiled food in their coolers or they lack quality control skills. This food court is just like any other Costco, in terms of the food. But I am rating 3 stars for this Temecula Costco Food Cojurt, because it is the ONLY Costco I have been to, where the Food Court is outdoors. I went there yesterday, and it was 103 degrees outside temp, and hardly any tables are in the shade. I buy my hot dog and go inside and sit on the bench at the Hearing Aid Center and eat my food, there. read more

Nothing is wrong with the quality of this Costco, all the goods should be equal if not the same as any other locations. The issue of this place is the parking situation, no parking anywhere, even though they have a decent space, some in the back also taken, all the ADA taken, all the tires service taken or reserved, the regular spots were overpopulated, and the ones trying to get those spots also holding the traffic with their blinkers, I could understand that people from over the areas North East South West prefer to come here than Lake Elsinore, San Marcos, Carlsbad or Fallbrook even Vista, because some of them living in between those counties, and maybe easier for them to come here and shop, but yep you can see how they want to stock up their groceries so that they don't have to spend another trip in this chaotic place, so what they did were buy buy buy, and when it's time to get back to their cars, they spent another 15 minutes to put them in their trunks, arrange them, while the other cars were patiently waiting which created another dilemma for everyone like me who just want to come in, do a quick shop and get out. People come to this Costco must have bought so many things like holidays shopping season, I never seen any of them taking this long to put stuffs in their cars, I mean every rows I saw cars waiting to pull in, but none of the other cars were trying to pull out because they were still busy with their groceries. This review is for cashier MARIA absolutely atrocious attitude and customer service. I was next in line and was watching as she scolded and bullied an Instacart worker. I thought her tone and delivery could use some improvements. I order from Instacart and have used the platform to order from Costco and Sam's Club and if that is the way they treat the people I hired to shop then corporate needs to be informed. I pay a premium price for this service and will tip higher knowing they are treated this way. It's almost as if they are frowned upon. Maybe MARIA was just having a bad day but something tells me she discriminated against this young lady. I will contact corporate and Instacart to let them know that maybe this company doesn't approve of their business. read more

Ordered a pizza for the first time but your employees are very rude to their customers. I didn't know what window to pay at and person at the window did not greet with a smile and kind direction but instead felt like they are barking orders. Not necessary to treat customers this way. Absolute garbage. Cheryl at the front line self checkout accused me of stealing. As I was scanning my items in the self checkout line, she rushes to me and starts counting all my items one by one. There are four other self checkout registers that she is responsible for but she has to rush to my station because I fit the profile. It was so obvious that another customer behind me records the whole incident and later she caught me in the parking lot and exchange contact information with me and text me the recording of Cheryl interrogating me at the self checkout. I only had 13 items all together but the way I was attacked by her seemed like I was trying to steal half the items in that entire store. Very disturbing and disappointed of how this front line self checkout line employee represented herself and Costco. She is an absolute disgrace to the store and all their other hardworking employees. I am going to share the video that was recorded by the customer behind me on all social media channels and I hope Cheryl will Learn her lesson and stops profiling customers just based on their appearance. Absolutely disgusting and very childish of Cheryl to act like an uneducated idiot with no respect for others. Hope she is reviewed based on this incident and I hope this embarrassing incident doesn't happen to anyone else. read more
