    Crab sushi

I was so excited to visit Costco in another country! I live by a Costco and go weekly so I had been following several Canadian Costco social media pages to see what they had that I could not get here in the states. I had prepared that I might need to have a second carry on to take my spoils back to the states. I walked to this location due to the close proximity to the hotel I stayed at. The walking gets dicey around Rogers arena (sidewalks are non existent, cars come out of no where) you are also under a bridge and there is a lot of exhaust. I walked around to the front, got a cart, loaded my suitcase and backpack in and prepared to be amazed. I found it is very similar to Costco's here. People with little to no spatial awareness, blocking the aisle with the cart. It was such an unpleasant experience that I didn't want to stay and left early. The inside was a bust so the food court was going to be amazing right? right? I had read reviews about the limited seating (aka none) the birds that try and steal your food etc. I ordered the chicken tenders $7.99 CAD and ice cream $3.49 CAD for a total of $12.05 ($8.86 USD). The chicken tenders were inedible. They did not seem fully cooked and had a weird taste. The fries were not much better. The ice cream I can't describe it. It had the weirdest taste and texture to it. I got chocolate sauce on it and that could not save it. So gross. Those items ended up in the trash. I forgot the first time I ordered I wanted to try the crab sushi so I went back and ordered that $9.99 CAD and pop $.99 total $11.60 or $8.53 USD. They had fountain sodas and had 7 up but when I thought I would get a cup to fill they told me they only had iced tea or soda with caffeine. I explained I don't drink anything with caffeine and they said I could go inside and get a refund but it wasn't worth it. The crab roll was good. The pieces are large, the crab tastes fresh and the rice was good. Did not taste stale, mushy or too hard. I would order that again. Overall glad I got to come but would not go out of my way to come here again.

Wow,thus was a pleasant surprise in terms of location. Was on my walk from downtown to Chinatown. And bam, there as Costco! Saw the parking structure first, then had to walk 2 blocks back to go to the entrance for walk in customers (I did not drive). Walk down about 4 to 5 flights of stairs to the ground level. Food court was packed and outside of the main store. Wished they had poutine but no they did not. Huge selections of items. Vwry similar to the stores in the states. With some Canadian items. Worthed the walk around and the visit. Value was good: regular Costco prices. With good conversion rate from U S dollars, prices seemed "cheaper". Got some maple items. Checked out was speedy, accurate and friendly. Line at the door checking receipts was checked detailedly yet moved quick. Will come again.

Lootss of tourists. Lol. Costco superfans. Easy to get to with their bart/ subway system. Food court: loottts of Costco usa fans trying to order. They only use kiosk. Only take mastercard. Leave the card in longer!!!! It will go through just not as fast as usa wifi/internet. Only bought poutine, one hour wait. Sooo Soggyy, couldn't order extra crispy.... Standing tables only! Not good for senior citizens. Went there first to buy souvenirs. Some different items from California, i would have bought some if i stayed in Canada longer or if i drove back to Seattle. Cheap maple syrup. 3 minutes drive from chinatown. 15 minutes walk from center of chinatown.

Sushi made in Costco. I noticed that social media has been buzzing about sushi at Costco. So, I visited the Downtown location and grabbed a Nigiri and roll combo. The price was reasonable, not too expensive and not too cheap. They charged by weight. Size matters! Each roll was way bigger than the normal size. Surprisingly, even though we put sushi in the refrigerator for the whole day, the rice did not get hard, it was still soft. (Usually it gets harder.) The taste was just ok, it was just decent, but the sashimi was fresh. It's probably good for bringing to a home party or gathering. I'm so happy there's another takeout option.

Located right off the expo Chinatown train station, this Costco located in downtown Vancouver has all the global favorites and local only merchandise. You need a membership to enter. The first thing to notice was how not crowded it was. There was no line at the self checkout and the normal registers were no more than two customers deep. We had some time to kill so wandered around to check out what was selling. Of course we had no intention of buying anything, but as usual, couldn't help but purchase "great" deals, especially since we were getting a 27% discount because of the favorable currency rates. They had a great selection of clothing, so picked up champion athletic shorts and Joe brand jeans. We've been having great luck with eating different breads in our trip so picked up a pack of cheese rolls. A lot meats are sold by the kg, so prices seemed really high before realizing you had to convert. After doing the math, a lb of ground beef was $2.88, which is quite a bit cheaper than the same in Cali. Did check out two things that Costco had intentionally takes a loss on, to see how much they were here. The hot dog/soda combo is $1.50 here, which is crazy. The rotisserie chicken is $7.99 which is $5.88 USD equivalent so that's a bit more (usually 4.99 across the US). Even with 30% discount, prices are the same. A lot of different clothes. Hot dog and drink are still 1.50. Great place to shop. Free WiFi.

If you have a foreign country visa, it will not take the payment unless it's a debit card. However, the french fries is amazingly tasty. Maybe it's because I got it freshly made. The overall experience is not bad.

we were intrigued and had to try their sashimi platter and california roll today, like many other sushi enthusiasts. this looks to be permanent, as they have a sign above, 'kirkland signature sushi'. you can see through the glass the multitude of sushi makers furiously assembling the trays as the crowd eagerly awaits to take home a tray or two. they also have poke, tuna and salmon sushi, and nigiri sushi. the sashimi was thinly sliced and included tuna, salmon, and scallops. it comes with packets of yamasa soy sauce, wasabi, and tiny bits of ginger. i liked the salmon and scallops best. the soy sauce was way too salty, and i felt thirsty after. the california rolls were quite big; there was a lot of rice with real crab, but they were a little skimpy on the avocados. overall, the kirkland signature sushi offerings provide a great alternative to their classic roast chicken, convenient and tasty option for sushi lovers looking for a quick and affordable meal.

The only site (currently) with a dedicated sushi corner.. the sushi was reasonably priced and fairly good.. like a suped up version of T&T sushi. Noticed that the rolls all that a fair amount of green onion in them, which we liked.. but wondered how well it would go over with others... The wasabi was real and not powdered, which I appreciated.

Was here today for some lasagna (they go into 1/6 portions placed in 2x6" tin foil trays and little lids and into my freezer. Way better than microwave dinner and so much more cheese) and a tray of sushi caught my eye the pieces are massive. Good deal. Grabbed some jerky and the essentials like toothpaste and floss.

You, Impark, are a scam company. You've wasted so much of my time on this, and then you have the audacity to tell me to "pay on time" next? I arrived at 12:58 p.m. and successfully paid at 1:02 p.m. You gave me a ticket at 1:00 p.m., just a four-minute gap! I didn't waste a single second in those four minutes; my online payment failed, so I immediately paid at the machine.

Visiting from SF and wanted to checkout this Costco. I tried poutine for the very first time at the food court and it was delicious! Fresh fries and nice gravy. Pleasantly surprised. Food court service was efficient and friendly. I would totally come back here for the poutine. The rotisserie chicken is a bit pricier here ($7.99 vs $4.99 each in California) but I guess that's standard Canada price. Clean facility and located near a train station. What more could you ask for?

It's entirely optional. The membership includes perks like member only discounts though. Typical of warehouse stores, a lot of the items are packaged in bulk. For example, you can buy a 6 pack of giant condiment bottles instead of just one pack. Another thing is some discounts are only given if you buy multiples. For example, a bottle of sweet chili sauce goes for $4. But if you buy 4 or more, you get 50 cents off each bottle. All in all, this place is really good for people who buy in bulk. One small negative is that the price tags are hard to find. I came with old relatives who had to look very carefully for the price tags because they were jumbled up with other product price tags for other items that were nearby. Other times, you would have to stoop to the very bottom and peek under a not so see-through plastic lining partly covering the price tags. Also, some prices are more expensive than other grocery stores. I didn't buy a 12 pack of pop here because they were more expensive than other places. Came around 8pm and the checkout line was long. It stretched to the middle of the whole store. The line moved relatively fast and I got to the checkout lane 10-12 minutes later. They have a Walmart style checkout line where one giant line is for 4-5 checkout tills. As far as I know, there are no self checkout lines at this store. Staff here are pretty nice. I forgot an item and they let me run to get it and come back. They chatted about personal stuff with another staff member as they rang my stuff up though. Interestingly, even though Wholesale Club is a sister store of No Frills and Superstore, you CANNOT earn optimum points but you can redeem them here. At least that was what I was told by the cashier at the time. All in all, I would come back once in a while for the restaurant or food prep supplies which aren't really sold in other stores or buy items i need in bulk and get a small discount. 3 out of 5 stars.

The place is not big, but it is packed with a lot of things related to electronics. Staff is super nice and helpful in finding you the things you need. I like that they don't try to sell you what you don't need or make you buy a higher price item. If they can't find it, they can order. Price is a bit higher, but this is the place if you are not buying bulk order and don't want the hassle of shipping. There is side street parking which is free. They have a website that you can browse and shop items by categories. The website also has tutorial on starter and intermediate projects that the staff has done, which is cool!
