This review is strictly for the glasses/contacts and returns department!…read more Like all other Costco's, this one is BUSY lol! We had to return our air conditioning unit because it was delivered broken (not Costco's fault) and returning is always daunting but the representative we dealt with (and the other so could hear close by) were very courteous and understanding. No grumpy servicing and hopefully that is because no grumpy customers haha - line seemed long at first but many only had one item to return and the staff were fast and nice for the most part! I also got my eyes checked at the optometrist and saw Costco staff for their contacts trials. The staff are so patient and kind but can get very busy if there aren't enough staff allocated to this department. I appreciated the calm and educated demeanor the staff had with me as I went through contacts lessons for putting them in and taking them out. Physically I have smaller eyes/lids and particularly struggle with touching my own eye. I stated I wanted to practice for certain events or occasions where contacts would be more beneficial and even though I was insecure and nervous - the staff made me feel safe and understood! There was no belittling or rushing me out of the appointment. They were encouraging and positive!

This is a crazy busy Costco on a Sunday PM…read more Lots of people waiting in line just for samples. Sadly, very rude customers that cut you off, stop in the middle of aisles and talk louder than most. Also sad that children and running everywhere. Craziest was the frenzy at the clothing area...felt bad for the employees having to sort through clothing that didn't belong and of course the re-folding. Being from the Lower 48, I was hoping there was a gas station...not. Interesting that the hotdog and soda was $1.50 Canadian! Anyways, being a US visitor I won't ever come back. PS - The backing up into the parking spaces really slows traffic and blocks both lanes for everyone. PPS - The parking lot was full of trash especially cardboard boxes and shopping carts not returned to their stalls.

Like the other locations, they really need to change the lineup area. The line backed up halfway across the entire store. With that said, this location is somewhat less busy than the Burnaby (Still Creek) location. Lastly, the Montreal smoked meat sandwich and fries with gravy felt good.

I will preface this review as being centred around the hearing center. My mother had to come here…read moreto get her hearing tested and to explore hearing aid options. The entire staff in the hearing centre department were so kind and patient towards my family and I. They made the process seamless and efficient. I am unfortunately terrible with names and had written them down, but I lost that piece of paper so I do want to stress if management does ever come across this review to please give extreme kudos to the hearing center team. The rest of the staff that we encountered at this location were also kind, and there were no qualms. The space was clean and the food court staff were also very efficient and quick. This location is not the typical one that we go to often, but I would recommend people to come here for their hearing aids easily!

I came here to pick up some eggs and a few things. My first visit was months after their grand opening and the line up or hype has completely died down. It was quite nice to walk in given there are not that many people shopping here. I do like shopping here but unfortunately it is more tailored to Businesses and not people like me.

However, getting into a regular Costco is hectic too. Things i like a out the business centre: it is a lot more spacious, way less people and much more variety in everything. Contrary to what most people believe, there is a lot of regular sized merchandise being sold. It also sells a lot of items that you'd find at regular Costcos. I saw quite a lot of interesting items. For example, industry sized stock pot and a huge barrel of maple syrup that costs $2000 something.

Great for family of 5, not so great for a single person. The value of it is exceptional and they have a fair amount of food items at the food court. A star was lost due to the service. Am OK with the way it's setup but am used to how ones in the US operate, everyone is running around filling orders. Here there was one dolt assembling and yelling out orders. Other than that it was fantastic and hate to subtract a star as everything else was fantastic like the value and selection, both equally great. Thanks!

This place is a hit and miss. Some items are cheaper and some just doesn't make sense. If you run a…read morebusiness or a restaurant than maybe it will work out for you. Otherwise, it really depends on what you buy. Some items require you to buy in multiple of 2 or 3 or even a dozen. Not all items are in bulk or sold in multiples of many. I can find better prices elsewhere for most of the items here. I am guessing that is why the store is never busy.

I sometimes come here to buy plastic disposable gloves among other items for food prep. It's like a…read moremini costco where it's basically a big warehouse and everything is on very large shelves. Unlike Costco, you DON'T have to buy a membership in order to buy stuff here. It's entirely optional. The membership includes perks like member only discounts though. Typical of warehouse stores, a lot of the items are packaged in bulk. For example, you can buy a 6 pack of giant condiment bottles instead of just one pack. Another thing is some discounts are only given if you buy multiples. For example, a bottle of sweet chili sauce goes for $4. But if you buy 4 or more, you get 50 cents off each bottle. All in all, this place is really good for people who buy in bulk. One small negative is that the price tags are hard to find. I came with old relatives who had to look very carefully for the price tags because they were jumbled up with other product price tags for other items that were nearby. Other times, you would have to stoop to the very bottom and peek under a not so see-through plastic lining partly covering the price tags. Also, some prices are more expensive than other grocery stores. I didn't buy a 12 pack of pop here because they were more expensive than other places. Came around 8pm and the checkout line was long. It stretched to the middle of the whole store. The line moved relatively fast and I got to the checkout lane 10-12 minutes later. They have a Walmart style checkout line where one giant line is for 4-5 checkout tills. As far as I know, there are no self checkout lines at this store. Staff here are pretty nice. I forgot an item and they let me run to get it and come back. They chatted about personal stuff with another staff member as they rang my stuff up though. Interestingly, even though Wholesale Club is a sister store of No Frills and Superstore, you CANNOT earn optimum points but you can redeem them here. At least that was what I was told by the cashier at the time. All in all, I would come back once in a while for the restaurant or food prep supplies which aren't really sold in other stores or buy items i need in bulk and get a small discount. 3 out of 5 stars.
