I've visited several Costco's in Phoenix, and this is by far my favorite. The selection, prices seem just a tad more aggressive than other Costco's, they always have displays for products out such as camping, or bathroom vanities but mostly Alicia and all of the other front end Supervisors are always available, and generous with their time. read more

Just like everything else with Costco great prices and services. I would hesitate to get any services done at Costco. Being a member pays for its membership within your first couple visits and I deff prefer Costco over the other warehouse. They have much better brands read more

Costco has always been a great place to shop. However, the above and beyond customer service I received yesterday just took it to a new level. With a 20 day old newborn I made the mistake of forgetting to pull the feeding bottle out of the cooler pocket early, so it could come to room temp in time for feeding. With a fussy baby ready to eat I went to the restroom to run the bottle under the faucet in the hopes of expediting the warming process. I didn't even make it to the faucet before a very observant employee stopped me and said "that water won't be hot enough for your needs, follow me." Without hesitation he took me to the employee break room and heating me up a cup of water. During this process he told me how he had 5 kids and had heated plenty of bottles in his day. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and awestruck with the above and beyond service this staff member offered. My only regret is not getting "his" name in the mix of it all. Costco: if your wanted to further look into who it might have been this is what I know. He had 5 kids, about 5:10 (I think), and it happened at about 12:45 on 5-9-18. Thank you read more

Dr Bush is just fantastic! We drove 2.5 hours from N AZ only to find out that the front desk person Jenna lost our appointment. When she was the one who took it! She was extremely frustrating and the conversation was going nowhere when Dr Bush came out and took us anyway. Even then Jenna was attempting to push on the power button and make me to find the number I called when I made an appointment. (The phone records go back only two weeks). Dr Bush had been taking care of us for a really long time and I do understand how difficult it is to find a rally good front desk person, therefore I guess the search continues ;-) read more

Three weeks ago I went in to special order some batteries. The guy took my order and info down on a sticky note. Should have known better that this wasn't going to be good as soon as he pulled out the sticky note. He said they would arrive in one week. I called one week later and they didn't have my order. Spoke to Todd the manager who apologized took my order properly. He said it should be in in a week. Called one week later and it did not arrive. The guy on the phone said it takes one to two weeks. Alright. I called again one week later and it never arrived yet again. He said that Todd is looking into it and will contact me. He never called me back. I ended up getting better batteries from Advanced Auto Parts the same day (and a $50 discount). I don't care who's fault in the supply chain it is because I'm the one with a truck sitting in my driveway for about a month just collecting dust. Might switch to Sam's. read more

Just had the best experience at Costco! After being told by one employee, they were out of Edamame, there were none left on display, we happen to ask another employee on our way to check out. Let me tell you, this Employee, his name was Chance, put on a big heavy coat, went into the huge freezer, I could see him spider monkey jump to the next shelf, it was quiet for a few moments, and the BOOM, here comes Chance with a box of Edamame to save the day! I received my cash voucher from Costco and renewed my membership online as I have done for many years. The next day the rude gentleman at the checkout said my membership was expired. I explained to him I renewed online and I had several months left on the membership regardless. He said the online renewal could take as long as 2 weeks and I should renew at the register. I copied all of my paperwork including receipt for renewal and where it showed my membership had not lapsed and returned to the membership counter the next day. The wonderfully helpful person assured me there was no issue with my membership and, although the online renewal had not processed, she said I still had two months left on my current membership. That's the kind of service I have come to expect at Costco. The original gentleman needs a course in customer service. Regardless-Costco overall is good. Even though the renewal experience (this time) was less than stellar. read more

Our previous purchase experience at Cammelback Kia Without Costco, was miserable. It took 6 hours to get through negotiations and get the deal finalized. My Costco experience at Peoria Kia with Zach Hinson took around 3 hours. AND I have assurance that I got a good deal. read more

Always have enjoyed Costco until I went recently to fill a propane tank. When I pulled in to the assigned parking for the propane fill station, I was unable to maneuver my crew cab to park it completely in the parking space due to shoppers walking behind me, that did not care that I was attempting to park. So I exited my truck, took my tank to the fill station put it down and stood and waited for the attendant to look my direction. He was busy, there where at least 4 tanks ahead of mine. When he did look at me I greeted him with a New Year hello, how are you.The Miserable fool wouldn't even look at me, he angrily pointed at my truck and asked if it was mine, I just yes it is, "Well You have to park it the way it is suppose to be parked" Propane jockey, parking lot monitor or what ever he is, needs to show some tact. I am a retired public servant and a Vietnam Vet with limited use of my arm .There is no assigned parking for the handicapped near the fill station. My truck was not preventing any other customers from parking. He was and probably is just an A--H---. If he is certified to fill tanks, maybe that certificate has gone to his head. I just picked up my tank and went elsewhere before words exchanged. That is not the way people should be treated especially from one that is there to provide a paid service. Careful how you park there, the parking lot / propane jockey is lurking. One star for the Big Zero!!! read more

It lost 1 star only because the parking lot can be horrendous at certain times. Also, I wish they had a car wash here like at the other one on Bell. Though the gas station is always busy since it is right next to the freeway. Great service here and always pretty well stocked. It is very conveniently located and I forgot to mention the propane refill here as well... For those RV's. read more

In regards to the EBT at check out on 2/19/2016 between 8pm & 845pm. Apparently the EBT system was down or you guys were having some issues. Next time please have a sign at main entrance. It was extremely embarrassing and stressful having to make a decision between paying for the food we need and paying my electric bill. Only because my 8 year old was with me and I had no choice but pay with money I didn't have and now I will be late paying my electric bill. It was either that or having to explain to my child that I can't pay for our food! The cashier just kept apologizing nice and loud and clear for the whole world to hear. And the man who she had called over to verify if the system was down, he didn't even acknowledge me, he kept eye contact with the cashier and just told her "yes, it's still down" and walked away.... really? Just so everyone is clear. Having an EBT card is not a choice of the matter...it's a necessity so I can feed my daughter and myself. I don't need to explain my life issues and how I went about receiving an EBT card and I am not ashamed to use one since I don't have a choice at the moment...but let me tell you, I've never been so embarrassed. So much so that I will not be back at this property ...only to get gas. This location is near my house, visit here frequently for years. And my last post on 2/1/2015 was 4 stars. Would have been 5 but the eye exam receptionist was rude and tacky. But I enjoy shopping at all Costco's and they vary in service pending on which property/neighborhood it's in. And lately service here is sterile. Cashiers are usually the only ones with a smile on their face. Sad, cause I would be beyond grateful to have any job and I would have empathy and understanding with customers. I'm sorry maybe I wrote this review too soon and it's not easy for me to address this but I can't imagine what it would have felt like if I really had no money at all , to leave all that food there and walk out empty handed having my 8 year old ask me why. And now I just hope I can somehow magically come up with enough $ to pay my electric bill on time! read more

eh...lots of good products, and very good customer service. But come early , get in and get out , or you are in a situation where you feel like you're christmas shopping on Christmas eve. Long lines, crowed parking lots . Lots of good food samples, but I make sure I am there when the door opens. read more

This Costco is below par for all the locations I have been to around the valley. There is never enough staff and it takes a long time to check out. I would say 50 percent if not more of the customers that goto this Costco are very rude and don't move out of the way when they are blocking the isle. I choose to drive an extra 6 miles to goto the one at arrowhead and they also have a car wash at that location. read more

The only beef I have about Costco is this; PLEASE add a little fitting room!! I wanted to buy a swimsuit and all women know you have to try 20 on to find one that fits decent. When I asked if I could try it on in the restroom, I was told I had to BUY it first.. Does this make sense? Since my last review, Costco has greatly improved their pharmacy operations. They are accurate, efficient, and even though they are often busy, have caught prescription amount errors made by my physician that would have cost more money as our insurance only covers up to a specific quantity. Also, they are remodeling the area, specifically to improve efficiency in serving customers. I have not seen handicap cart customers waiting for escorts (to return their carts) by the exits anymore. I do not know whether they have changed their policy, or if they hired additional help to ease the inconvenience, but that's a very good sign! In any event, Costco has now earned my 5-star rating for all around excellent service and responsiveness to areas of prior concern. Great job! read more

This is the Costco where we usually shop. It is very clean and especially enjoy the fruit. The hot dog deal is a great deal with a drink for $1.50. They also have generic Claritin D at 60% less than other pharmacies. That savings pays for my annual membership many times over. read more

I want to praise Dr Lee she is the best eye doctor with so much patience. She really goes out of her way to make sure everything is right. She doesn't just give you a script & rush you out the door she works with you if you're trying something new & makes sure your vision is where you need it to be. Costco is the BEST! They have such amazing items and almost all of them are great quality. If I do happen to not like something tough I really enjoy their great return policy. I have found they are starting to have so many non GMO and organic products. The only problem about Costco is sometimes I get hooked on a product that they eventually discontinue. read more

Love the coffee too ;) one thing I hate is that when I go there with my husband and forget my wallet, he has to pay but the Costco card is on my name, so they won't allow him to pay because he's not a member!!?weird! Very disappointed with Costco on 27th Ave tonight. I returned a battery which I bought 31 months ago, they only refunded me half the money I paid because the free replacement was for 30 months only so I went over by one month. So the proration is the same at one month over 30 months as is at 60 months. Not happy with customer service. read more

Dr kelly cross & associates optometrist. HORRIBLE SERVICE!, yes, I was late to apt by minutes, my key fob on car stopped working as I apologize for my being 5 minutes later than 10 minute policy. The assocate refused to help me and wanted to rescedule I explaned I was leaving town and would appreciate basic exam so could get contacts. I was disappointed abd dismayed that she could not make it work. So she saus let me talk to doctor. 15 minutes pass and the prior apt whom was befor me came out. This now is almost 25 minutes later. Now another 10 fir eye associate and dr calling the owner she come out and saus sorry you where late and cant gwt you in till tomorrw. This is located insude costco 19001 n 27th ave. Thw truth is they where running behind and they simply wanted to use there policy to deny my apt. I could have easly filled out sign paperwork and done small eye test well before done with my the appointment just in front me accept jenna , dr bush and owner all decided to be so ridged. Tge truth is they where running behind and wanted to go to lunch. Needless they have lost a customer due to this fragrant lack of service. I almost feel discriminated against. Horrible. BOTTOM LINE GO SOMEWHERE ELSe for good care after all they are our eyes. read more

I will never buy glasses from Costco again. Two pairs in a row have had the anti-glare substance come off during the first six months of having the glasses, and neither time would Costco stand behind their product. This last time it happened the person in the optical department told me, "They don't stay nice forever." Really!?! read more

They offer free tech support on computer purchases, I believe as long as you own the computer. We also purchase our tires here. They have a generous return policy. read more

I attempted for two weeks to get an appointment with their optomiterest with no luck. So I went to another doctor. I got my prescription and went to Costco to get it filled, and that is when the fun began. I picked out frames. No one told me what options were available except for transitions. So I decided on the glasses and we went to check out. She said my balance was $150. I said how is that possible. She replied that the insurance was paying $115. I informed her I have a $130 frame credit so they have to pay more then that (since the frame was $129). The most I should of paid was $60. No offer to contact the insurance company or have someone else look at it. I left called my insurance company. My insurance company told them that I should only pay $60. They said no that is not what our system is. My insurance company came back and basically said they were not willing to listen to her and said just go somewhere else they aren't budging. So I am going somewhere else. Not sure I even want to go back to Costco for anything, we'll see though. read more
