The famous "Yam Yam girl" works here! She works as a sample attendant here. Her unique jingle "yam yam yam ~" stuck in our head so my family sings this jingle all the time. Whatever she samples, she is so good at promoting and changing this jingle with each item. My family is such a big fan of hers so sometimes we just come to this location just for her! Her name is Michelle but we call her Yam Yam girl! It's hard to find her but when we hear her, we all know that's who! read more

Just moved to La Mesa, used their gas station Sunday afternoon. 3 or 4 vehicles In front of me. It went very fast. I was expecting a long wait, not bad at all ! PS I join initially to get a deal on some Great Michelin Tires, complete with full after service for the tires, road hazard, rotation etc all included. Great service from polite professional staff ! It's not hard to say 5 Stars about coming here (and obviously the price of fuel). They're so efficient & well laid out that even when the lines look hopeless - I still manage to get in within 5 minutes! The biggest thing that I recently realized was just how early they open & late they stay open. Absolutely no reason now in my big work schedule to just pop in & fill up! read more

It is about time this Costco location got a gas station. Unlike other locations, the location and design are very nice. Their is plenty off space to maneuver and wait in line without being in the way of other traffic. I wish the Mission Valley location had this type of set up. They have plenty of pumps to handle almost any type of volume. The only place that may have more pumps are the large interstate trucking gas stations. Access and exit are a breeze thanks to the large amount of land they have available. read more

Probably the smoothest Costco gas line in San Diego. Especially since they moved the barriers further back to let traffic flow a little better. Many pumps, 4 on each side, and as long as you don't get someone who struggles with common sense, it flows. There are always attendants there to help. Prices are cheap. If you go early in the morning or later in the evening, you are golden. No complaints. read more

Quick service nice community no loud music and thumping. 4 pumps deep with long reach hoses that reach the far side of the car. Pumps always work! Immaculate and clean. read more

I Want To Thank Arturo For Going Above And Beyond To Help Me Pump My Gas. I Just Got Out The Hospital With My Rotator Cuff Tear In 4 Places And Was Hurting. Costco - Gas Stations Near Me - La Mesa, California

This is one of the best Costco gasoline stations anywhere. It has excellent traffic flow, and there are four tandem pumps per lane! Easy access from the Costco warehouse parking lot, as well as from Fletcher Parkway. I definitely stop here when I'm in the area. read more

I remember when this lot had a Babies R Us. I love any Costco with a set up like this. Mission Valley needs to remodel theirs like this. There are lots of pumps so I never had to wait and I don't mind using one from the opposite side of my car. It's spacious and clean and I can get in and out in a breeze. This is now my go-to for gas. read more

Nice location. Quality gas ... gas is gas ... cost could be lower, to bad it's California prices!

I always make a stop by here when i'm driving anywhere out east. Its easy to find, easy to get in and get out. They have a lot of pump stations which makes the waits ALOT less longer than other locations. Spacious, clean, cheap, good gas. What else can you ask for? read more

I do so love my Costco. Even though I have a small family there are still plenty of values to be had. The issue is the roasted chicken. Like so many of us of course I buy them. They now have new packaging and it is horrible. The chickens look smaller but mine was not as I weighed it at home 3 pounds 1 ounce. The chicken does not sit upright in the new bag. It is difficult to remove the chicken. Just an all around bad deal. Please change back. read more

So happy they replaced the babies r us with Costco gas! 4 pumps per line, and 8 lines total. Both good and bad- great for availability and fast lines, but be very careful because it's asking for a fender-bender with even more people in a hurry zipping between lines to get to an open front pump. I've been cut off both getting in and out. Compared to Mission Valley, I'd say the lines go much faster but sometimes there are 1-3 open pumps in front with only the rear one occupied. Sometimes cars in 2 different lanes will try to fight to get to the open spot first which is a nasty mess. But, as long as you keep your eyes open for the rude and rushing drivers, it's super convenient! read more

I happened to be driving by this morning and the gas station had just been open an hour. The construction is still not complete so it's a bit confusing getting in, but there were ZERO people in line. Sweet. Right now they ARE NOT able to scan your card via the COSTCO APP at the pump. There are a few employees with cards that were able to use a generic card to unlock the pump. I'm not sure how long they'll do this for, but one of them told me that the app won't work at the pump for several months. read more

This Costco gas has 32 pumps! I didn't have to wait in line and went at a comMoney busy time on a Saturday. The best Costco Gas experience you'll ever get read more

Costco - Gas Stations Near Me - La Mesa, California

Well you HACE TO BE A COSTCO MEMBER in case you were wondering.. the lines are long but they go by pretty quick since you are getting gas much cheaper than any where else .. I believe it's worth it and most people know how to take turns and it's fairly easy even with so many cars read more

Racist Costco's policy needs to be addressed from the greeters to customer service to the cashier. I have executive membership, but they don't care as long as I'm black, and I am not confrontational. I see it, and I go home. Still, it hunts me in my sleep because I was not born in this country. I never have to deal with hate where I come from, so fighting has not being thought growing up. Still, those employees who work and get paid below my grade treat me as if I'm beneath them because of their dumbhead, and Costco has no way of receiving any feedback online, and you have to call to complain to the same customer service that offends me the first place. I would not recommend anyone to this location. read more

Quickest Costco gas station I've ever been. They've got 4 pumps per making it a quick process. Only problem is that there are drivers that won't wait in line read more

The fact that this place has 4.5 stars baffles me, theres no organization it's literally the wild wild west out here. There's 1 line yet ppl come in from everywhere it's honestly ridiculous that i waited in line for almost 25 minutes and come to realize theres ppl cutting up front read more

Just had the craziest experience at the Costco food court here. First we went to the inperson lane and after waiting for a few people they asked cash or card? We said card, they said you will need to go to the kiosk. We had cash, so paid cash as to not wait in line again. HAVE a CASH ONLY sign. Just a silly paper on the window that says cash only, not hard. They said it was a courtesy window for cash only. Why is it a courtesy to take cash??? Just have a sign so people who only have cash know where to go. Also they didn't give us a reciept, asked for our name and said it will be at next window. The person in front of us order a hot dog, the cashier gave her the drink and then said wait in the line. The actually hot dog in a bag was right behind her. Literally reach backward and grab the hot dog and she's happy and gone. But instead they said go wait at the next window. CRAZY!!! We both waited about 10 minutes, no food, we complained and they said it was a courtesy window to take cash not to expedite orders. It was just a mess, we go back in the line and got our money back. Fix your system. Not working to help people, just a random step to punish people paying cash. read more

I mostly consider the value as the cost of fuel and the taxes applied to the fuel has increased significantly, so I look for ways I can save were even I can. Costco also gives me back 4% at the end of the year. I consider this both Value and Quality. I did request service once when I had an injury to my hand and the attendant was very happy to serve me and he taught me something about card I didn't know. I greatly appreciated the kindness. read more

Love there are two entrance options, we can avoid the main shopper entrance if we choose. Go early and you'll hear the roosters up on the hill (seriously). So thankful La Mesa got a gas station, rumor has it that a car wash is next. read more

Woooow!! This is seriously THE BEST Costco gas station I have ever been to! This place was huge! It was very spacious and since there were ~32 pumps there was basically no wait. I mean come onnnn, I can't believe I am raving about a Costco gas station.. but yes it's happening! They also have displays which light up green or red to let you know which pumps aren't taken. I wish more Costco gas stations were like this! Truly a gem. Haha I love it. read more

Gas station setup is a mess. Getting in and out of there is a nightmare. There is always traffic, people from the parking lot don't let you in...it's awful what they've done. The people who don't have a stop sign don't let the people with a stop sign in. Traffic goes all the way to Fletcher Parkway. Whomever decided to set up the gas station the way they did doesn't know much about infrastructure. read more

yay to costco gas. cheap prices and quality gas. they need gas stations at every costco location. lots of pumps so the wait isnt too bad during non peak hours. so glad this location was approved for the gas station. now i can get hot dogs and gas to satisfy my tummy and my car read more

Costco was only 4.359 on Monday Feb 28th. Just last week it was over 5.00 a gallon. So worth the savings.

Cant beat the price best in the area and line moves smooth and fast love everything about costco

Costco mines may be long but definitely worth the money and the wait. Many l lanes with easy access to be able to drive up and get gas. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who have helped me in times of need of gas in my vehicle. A+ choice for gas and I go weekly to fill my vehicle! read more

I love the new La Mesa Costco gas station!! It is huge and there is never a wait. 4 pumps on each side with a total of 8 pumps for every two lanes. They also have a little pad that shows you a green gas pump when there is an open space and red gas pump to show you which pumps are taken. So you're not depending on your own personal view but you're looking up at the board to see where the openings are it's great. read more

1 star for the women who works there that was loudly talking crap about me while literally being next to me. A pump was not available and instead of putting a cone in the middle of it, they put it way in front of the pump which looks like it's available so that was on me. The problem is when I was inserting gas, the woman who works there was talking loudly about and next to me saying "why would she even do that? There's a cone there for a reason". At least talk about me when I'm gone and not a feet away from you?? read more

Great price for gas, especially now. Always clean and nice workers. Always a line but it moves.

Can't beat the prices on Costco gas. The staff keep the lines running smoothly. When gas station is busy the traffic getting in/out of Costco gets backed up at times. read more

ive been shopping at Costco since I was born, I hope they never go out of business. my husband only buys at shell. but Costco is a significant difference. gas for a 2018 Toyota Corolla at Costco is $33 and a 2008 Nissan Ultima at Shell is $67, soooo expensive. read more
