visited for the first time to get gas and i know this station is a bit older when they don't have the sensors that tell you which station pumps are available. they had fencing to guide you to queue into the station and it was quite nice since most places usually have cones in place. we saw the prices on the costco app before visiting. it was a bit hard to scan my membership through the app so i just ended up using my physical citi card to pay. read more

730 am, Saturday, October 25, 2025 It's been a long while since I've been to this location. I forgotten that the queue starts over on the Lemon side of the property. There is no shortcutting past the traffic control barriers. CAUTION!!! SPEED BUMPS ARE BRUTAL... They are very harsh on suspension, go slow over them unless you have a beefy 4X4 that can take the big bumps. OMG! I thought I broke something. I do not believe there are warning signs posted but lesson learned. DO NOT GO FAST over those bumps! It's like flipping a coin as to which location to get the gasoline. Fullerton was 2 cents lower than LA Habra but in the end it would have been only a total difference of less than 20 cents on a tank of gas. By chance I was passing through on my way to Brea. Ooh, I save a whopping 20 cents, haha. I'm not sure if there are any plans to expand this gas station but it'll definitely help reduce the traffic jam getting to the gas pumps. They do their best to free up the parking lot from people waiting to get gas. That means you have to enter basically from the back of the Costco and drive down a roped off area to get gas. It kinda feels like you're waiting in line to go on a ride at an amusement park. But honestly, while at the moment it's somewhat annoying to have to go a bit out of your way just to sit in a line, I appreciate it from the perspective of everyone else coming to shop in the store. They did a good job of trying to mitigate congestion. Something other Costcos do not. Prices here, as expected, are great. They're always cheaper than any other gas station in the area. But with cheaper gas means you might have to wait for it. Depending on the day of the week and the time, you could wait up to 15 minutes to get gas here. But, if you're lucky, you can be in and out in no time. I would just avoid the pumps in the hours right before & after work (when people are commuting) and afternoons on the weekends. This location is possibly the worst to get gas from. There's barely any open and exits to even get into the location. You'd think it gets better when you get closer but absolutely not. It's an absolute nightmare to be able to just get inside and get through the gas section. I understand that they wanted a clear and secure way to get in line but it just adds fuel to the fire. They have a gated section so to get into the line, it's only one line until you get close and then it splits off. What sucks about it is that when you're near, you basically have to go all the way around the gate to get in the line. I don't know if it's because it's on a weekend but almost everyone takes their time to get and leave. You'd think it'd be easier to get out than getting in but it's just as bad. Lines move pretty fast. Get 5% back on gas purchases using your Costco Visa. Usually early in the morning or late at night before they close is when they are less busy and you can get in and out fairly quick. We went here not by choice but by the necessity to fill up or else we won't make it back to LA. There's no arguing that Costco offers the cheapest gas but I think we got spoiled about how big Burbank location is compared to this one. Lucky we arrived here at 2pm so we didn't have to wait long but holy smokes, the way to the gas station felt like a treasure hunt. It was very confusing so we weren't sure if we were going to the right direction because we didn't see any signs pointing to the gas stations. We just kind of followed other cars hoping they're also going to the station. My first time at this Costco in Fullerton. Needed to fill up my gasoline tank so I headed to their gas station. The parking lot of this Costco is crazy crowded. Be careful when driving around here. It gets cramped. Took me awhile to figure out how to get to the gasoline station of theirs. Once I did figure it out, it was super easy to navigate. Just follow the signs! Duh!!!! They have the gasoline station barricaded off so you can only reach it from a certain entrance. Don't worry, you'll find it eventually. There are not a lot of gas pumps at this Costco. Maybe, I'm just used to my hometown Costco having a larger gas station so wait time is shorter. Oh well, it was still an Okay experience here. I often like to fuel up at this Costco gas station since it's convenient when I'm at work. Lines go fast in the early morning hours, better avoid going towards the afternoon. Friendly gas attendants who greet you here as well. The only downside I will say is that at this specific location, there are a bunch of speed bumps in their somewhat narrow one way path to the pumps so I avoid taking my other lowered car here at all costs. read more

I know that it's always crowded and there is a crazy queue (similar to the Long Beach Grand Prix) but that doesn't warrant being removed... Good gas, good prices. The entramce on Harbor Blvd, was removed, the driveway is now a sidewalk, and a hedge covers the entryway. 4 stars because it gets REALLY busy on weekends. I live in the area and have learned the best times to come. Here's what I've noticed: if I go on a weekday before work 6-8am there's no line. If I want to go on the weekend I have to go before 8:30 am. Anytime after on a weekend and the line is horrendously long. The price is amazing so yes, it could be worth the wait, but just go when you know the lines are shorter, aka early morning before 9am. Holy cow... what a nightmare. I recommend you go to another gas station. The organization at this location is an absolute mess. Only reason I came to this costco gas was because my station around the area had some paving activity so it was closed off. There seems to be three points of entry to the gas station: from the street on Harbor, at the back by the tire service station, and in the middle of the parking lot where bunch of cars are coming in and out of the warehouse area. You can hear lots of honking and see pissed off people through the windows. Some cars that were parked could not leave because of the cars waiting in line. Entrances and exits were super congested and blocked off by idling cars. After struggling to find the gas line, a wordle challenge, an episode of Friends, and rethinking my decision, I regret coming here. This is the cheapest Costco gas in central OC (by a few cents), but they only have 2 pumps per station and so it's also the smallest parking lot to try to squeeze into. I went 30 minutes before closing on a Monday, about 8:30 (usually a good time to visit) and it was a total cluster/cloister. It was a 20 minute wait for gas, but I got lucky in a line that was moving a bit faster than the rest, so really about 15 minutes before I could fill up and go. I'll stick to Cypress location in the future, which can handle a much larger volume of cars. This station does also NOT have the green/red stoplight system, to let you know when a pump is open. People also bring their commercial vans, super duty trucks, or giant SUVs here which holds up the line and makes it even harder to get in or out of the station. read more

Lines move fast and depending on the traffic the entrance on the far right will be sectioned off so there's no further congestion or anyone "cutting the line" Staff wear their masks and gloves and seems like majority of people who pump gas wear their masks as well. Oooohhhh myyyy GOD! The line to get gas at this Costco location is horrendous long . We came around 4pm-ish on a Sunday so I know that people are gassing up their cars for the week. At least there was some sort of direction (1 line for the first 2 rows of pumps and another line along the outer side to the other pumps). This actually helps to make the lines move quicker (I would've given it 4 stars if the line wasn't so long). And these lines are like this ALL DAY LONG - no matter what time of day you come... except when they first open. But the low gas prices more than make up for the long wait in line Prices are usually 50 cents/gallon less than the surrounding gas stations so it's a WIN-WIN when you gas up quite a bit (especially if you're filling up your gas tank). They recently reorganized the lines going in for gas and it's helped TREMENDOUSLY. It was always a nightmare and a 30+ min wait to get gas. Honestly the worst Costco gas line to wait in is at this location in my opinion.. All Costco gas lines are pretty ridiculously long, however the set up at this location is really ineffective. It basically blocks off entrances and exits within the parking lot itself and so cars are either stuck in the lanes from finding or leaving their parking spots or they have to do some annoying turns and backing ups to get out of there. There are really only two ways to get into the gas lines itself before splitting up into the multiple lanes that are lined up for the actual pump lines that are divided by cones. The only plus here that I've noticed is that there is more staffing out here than some other Costco gas locations that do not allow cars to cut the gas lines to make sure cars are lining up from the back. Either way, I usually avoid this location unless I really have to get gas here. read more
