Honestly this gas station has really good priced gas for being a Mobil! They have A LOT of candy options which I love because it's right next to my work and I don't have to find a 7/11 to get good stuff! Overall 5 stars because of the quick service and snack variety! I saw that they had E85 gas and stopped in cuz there are only a handful of stations that carry/supply the E85. Long story short, I had something stuck in my foot so I parked at the pump i had planned to use and proceeded to dig a piece of glass out, but before I could I had 2 separate people come up to my window yelling at me to "park" somewhere else because I was "making long line for everyone." I apologized and tried to explain that i WAS going to get gas but I needed to get glass outta my foot, but I couldn't get 2 words in without them yelling at me to "park" Nextdoor or in the back because I was supposedly creating a line. After the second dick came up to me with the same story, I got out to get gas and there was ONE car at a pump (next to me) with no other cars around. The second guy came out AGAIN as I was pumping gas and yelled at me some more about how they only have one pump for E85 and everyone wants to use it (I assumed he meant the pump I was at). Anyway, long story longer, I will NOT be going back there. I'll get regular gas across the street at AMPM before I go back there. read more

We love food.. and our car loves gas! Typically I'd say that all gas stations are the same. But I really hate Arco. And for a while that was the only gas station near my work. Thankfully this Mobil opened right next door! Overall, this Mobil has done a great job keeping everything safe and protected, especially in a neighborhood that's no stranger to the more-than-just-occasional aggressive homeless person. There's cameras everywhere and an attendant always on duty. This Mobil also has 12 gas pumps and there's barely any lines ever. And they have several contactless payment options - though be forewarned that it doesn't with at most of the pumps they have. Prices are competitive around $3.50 per gallon, but it is $0.10 cents per gallon extra if you pay by card. read more

You in a hurry? Then this is not the place for you. The gas pumps here at a super slow pace. No really? I've never seen slower in my life. It takes over 10 minutes to fill a tank up here. It's teeth pulling and super frustrating. You can feel yourself age as you wait for the gas to pump here. I don't know why it's so slow but it is. Even with the new pumps, it's still super slow. Don't believe me? Come here when you have a ton of time and fill your tank up. You can self reflect and wonder about the facts of life. The service isn't any better. I came here when this woman was working. She was rude, she was mean, she was everything but considerate or happy. Put a smile on your face. It's going to be okay. But this lady just had a permanent frown on her face. Not to mention she wasn't even nice. It is convenient to get to as it's on a major road but if you don't have the time do not go here. At 9:50am, I pulled up to Pump 8. When I swiped my cc at the pump, the machine said, "Zip code invalid." Um. Okay. So I went inside to pay. As I was in a hurry, I decided to just get $20 for now. I told the old man at the counter, "$20 on 8," and was about to swipe my card when he said, "ID first." Um. Okay. I gave him my ID. He stared at it for the longest time before saying, "Your credit card." So I dutifully gave him my card. He glared at my ID and CC for a full minute before giving me my ID back and swiping my card himself. Um. Okay. I signed my receipt and went back to the pump. And...nothing. No gas. I went back inside, and before I could even get a word out, he turned to me and said, "Push harder." What does that even mean? I went back to the pump to try again. Still no gas. So I went BACK INSIDE, and, again, before I got in a word, he sighed loudly and walked outside. Um. Okay. I followed him to my pump...and watched him push and shake the nozzle with such force that I almost asked him to be more careful. He couldn't get it to work, so without a word to me, he just walked back inside, and I followed. He then went to the register, started pushing random buttons, and even I could deduce that the strange sounds from the register were ERROR alerts. Suddenly, he gave up, breezed past me, and walked through an "employees only" door. Um. Okay. After about 5 minutes into the old man's Houdini act, I realized I was alone in the store with one other guy who'd prepaid for gas (his pump didn't work either), and one lady trying to buy a bottle of water. The old man came back out, and muttered to himself, "The computers are down." Without even looking at me or the other customer who'd prepaid, he went to the register and rung up the lady with the water. Um. Okay. The old man continued to jab at the register, and I realized that I'd been dealing with this for over fifteen minutes - and I would never make my 1030am appointment in time. So I timidly asked, "Can I just get a refund?" He ignored me. I asked again. He ignored me. I asked again, and this time, in the most irritated voice, he snapped, "The computers are down! I can't do anything!" HE snapped at ME?! "Even the register?" "Yes!" "Then can you just write me a note, and I'll come back later?" "No!" Then he went back in through the employee door. Um. Okay. I considered just letting my $20 go and just filing a dispute with my CC company. But the old man had already wasted so much of my time, surely the issue would be resolved soon. When the came back out, he - to my absolute astonishment - OPENED THE REGISTER (the same one he told me was broken) , took out $30 and gave it to the other waiting customer...and...closed the register. WHAT ABOUT ME?! I inched closer to the register, expecting a refund, too. But no. He wouldn't even look at me! Then, without warning, he starts walking to the back door again - and I yelled to his back, PISSED OFF at this point, "Listen to me! I NEED TO GO! It's been HALF AN HOUR! CAN YOU JUST WRITE ME A NOTE?!" He just whizzed right by me without a response. At this point, I broke down crying...out of sheer frustration. As I stood in the now empty store with tears dripping down my face, another customer came in and asked me what was wrong. I couldn't even talk. After trying in vain to console me, the customer left...and the old man came back out...to jab the register some more. "Sir! Can you just write me a NOTE?!" Without warning, he opens the register, takes out a $20 bill, THROWS it on the counter, and says, "I will give you this money OUT OF MY OWN POCKET, so you have to write me a note to prove it." WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?! "That's what I've been ASKING for the past FORTY MINUTES!" I screeched. But I willed myself to calm down again, telling myself that old people could be ornery, that I need to be understanding. With trembling hands, I took the pen and paper he offered me, and in a fit of NICENESS, decided to write him a thorough note. "I paid $20 with my credit card. I received $20 in cash as a refund. The balance is now $0." I handed him his pen and paper, at which point, he started yelling at me again, "Why did you write $0! I gave you $20!!!" I was so astonished, I broke down crying again. "Read what I wrote! I paid you $20 with my CC, right?!" "Yes." "And you gave me a $20 cash refund, right?!" "Yes." "SO NOW THE BALANCE IS $0, RIGHT?!" "Yes." "Then what's the problem!!! I've been here for forty minutes! Can i GO NOW?!" "Okay, sorry." AFTER FORTY MINUTES OF BEING A JACKASS, HE FINALLLLLY APOLOGIZES?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? IN THAT TONE?!?!?!??!?!?!?!???!?!?!? I love this place. Get gas, car washed, and they do a great job. Everyone that works there is always super cool. One of the guys actually remembers me by name, and we talk about what ever is going on that day. Good place to go, I always stop. read more

LPG (propane gas) is expensive. This is a rip off. To fill up a 5 gal tank, is over $3 when the propane cost is just $1.43 a gallon. Then even if you only need less than 5 gallons to fill up your tank, they charge you the cost of a full tank. I only needed 2.5 gallons and got charged for a full 5 gallon tank. Just a rip off! i initially walked in here for some quick gas and a snack as i needed to be somewhere for work that i was already minutes late to (late bc i needed to stop for gas in the first place.) i'd left my house in a hurry, thus forgetting my wallet at home but luckily i still had a gift card i could use stashed in my car. my purchase was fast and easy and i had a pleasant experience until i walked back to my car to see my keys locked inside. great right? no. i freaked out and ran inside to ask the cashier, an older man with curly grey hair, who very nicely explained to me he couldn't really do anything but that the store mechanic would be there at 9am and he would be able to help me break into my car. i thanked him and proceeded to wait, i spent the next hour calling friends and googling ways to break into my car with a shoelace, trying to break in by myself with no luck. when the mechanic finally arrived, an older asian man, he rudely told me he would not help me and that i should "call a real mechanic" whatever that means. considering my situation of having to be somewhere and also not having the money to call a "real mechanic" i panicked. just as i'm on the verge of tears my friend calls me and is able to get my spare to me and that was that. now i understand that most of this is just bad luck mixed with my own foolishness, it was definitely my fault and i should've been more careful and i know that it isn't anyone's obligation to help me, but being told rudely that there was nothing he could do after waiting an hour for him while i stared at a garage full of tools? i would have been upset w the cashier as well for misleading me but he did send another customer over to me to try and help and i did appreciate that, which is the only reason i didn't give it 1 star. anyways that's it, there's a nice arco literally across the street, go there instead bc i know i will. read more
