It doesn't get the caked on bugs off, but I haven't had an automatic car wash experience that did, even for the premium car washes. They have a small attendant counter to grab snacks or ask questions. The attendant's was friendly: He offered to explain vacuuming but I was in a rush so I didn't get to hear his explanation.

I had points on my Ralphs card, only for the life of me I did not remember seeing a Shell on Chapman. The GPS led me down Raymond toward Chapman, and told me to turn left toward Fullerton College. Just as I was about to turn left, I spotted the Shell station on the corner. It used to be a Propel fuel station. In fact, it sort of still is. There wasn't even a spec of brake dust left on the rims and they were pretty dirty before. I recently noticed a sign on the window there saying that if you install the Chevron app, it gives you $1 off per gallon for your first two fill ups. Only thing that was a random downside (for us) was that they don't sell alcohol. We were told it's because the campus (Cal State Fullerton) was right across the street. Being from Fresno where there are liquor stores on each corner of the Fresno State campus it made us laugh. But there it is! If you need to use the restrooms, it's a great place, but if you're looking for beer, try somewhere else. :)
