I usually get another brand of gas but this Chevron is only a block away from my home and is convenient for quick car washes. The manager of the car wash is friendly and has worked there forever. I opted for a hand wash and hand wax yesterday and I was actually surprised how good of a job they did. There wasn't even a spec of brake dust left on the rims and they were pretty dirty before. Their website has coupons and the cashier happily accepted the $10 off a hand wax coupon I showed on my phone. I recently noticed a sign on the window there saying that if you install the Chevron app, it gives you $1 off per gallon for your first two fill ups. You can't beat free money and I definitely took advantage of that offer. read more

Been over 3 years at leastttt that there restrooms are out of order for customers but employees go in and out. Whole point of a gas station is the convenience and this lacks all of it. All of them worked either in the car wash or in the store itself. I've been going to this gas station for about a year before and after work, and often used their car wash. I've never had any problems until they badly damaged my car. When the damage occurred, the cashier Ariel, pretending to be a "manager" told me there's nothing they can do about it and REFUSED to give me any information about the business or their insurance. When they showed me the video footage, it clearly shows my car was in perfect condition before the wash, then after the wash it was damaged. She had a very hard time comprehending the situation and began to give me attitude even when I was being calm and nice about it. Once I spelled it out and made it real simple for her to understand she finally admitted it was their fault and she'll tell the real manager about it, then proceeded to say they're only going to tell me there's nothing they can do about it and I'll have to pay for the damages, and it will be, "very difficult to get us to pay for it" because the sign clearly states they are not liable for ANY damages done.(which the sign does not and that it DOES state isn't relevant to my car). I took pictures of my car and the sign and she was very upset about that. When I asked for a business card for the store she told me they didn't have one, but one of the car wash guys told her and I that they did and handed me one. She also didn't like that at all. I made a claim with my insurance and my insurance adjuster called them just to tell her they will NOT provide their insurance at all. First the employee wouldn't let me use a coupon for my car wash because I didn't have it printed out. Then they stole (or at the very least "accidentally" threw away) a piece of my radio and chords I had coming out of it. When I asked the management for a refund for my car wash they said they would only give me a partial refund if I did not contact higher management. Now I must say we stopped here on our way to LA to specifically to use the bathroom. Now Chevron does have a clean and always stocked store but My 5 stars is for their super clean bathroom. I anticipated a gross gas station bathroom and literally went in prepared with my own seat cover and spray to cover up the typical gas station stank but WOW it was cleaner that most restaurants. I used to get my gas here all the time when I went to CSUF. On 9/26/15 around 7pm or 8pm I got a flat tire and pulled into this station. Benny (an employee there) was getting off work and saw we needed help. He could've easily just left us there, especially since his shift was over, but he took time out of his own Saturday night to save our night. We also found out Dan the main cashier (I think that was his name) working that night had told him to ask if me and my friend needed help. Benny changed my flat tire, saved us from missing our concert, and from spending $60 to call someone to come out without asking for anything in return. Honestly the kindest and most thoughtful man! Stay far away from this car wash. This has never been my favorite place to go to because the young cashiers always have the worst attitudes. Because of their terrible customer service, I stopped getting gas from them and started going to the Chevron on Yorba Linda. But it's close to my house so I would get a regular car wash from time to time when I didn't feel like washing my car myself. Their car washes were never great, but only $10 for a regular. No Armor All on tires. I went today and the price went up to $18 That's a 80% increase!!! They took 4 minutes to finish my car. I had to come home and clean my rims myself because they were still filthy. read more

CAR WASH REVIEW...NOT STATION... Every time I pass through Fullerton once a month, I ALWAYS stop at this gas station for the car wash. I have not found a place yet in my area that will do such an awesome job in quick amount of time. On this review day I got the handwax, wash and interior cleaning. Prices I think are way reasonable. Once my vehicle went through the wash its parked out in an area where all the guys work on it. While sitting in the sitting area you are able to watch just in case they miss something. So far all the times I have come they have only forgot to put tire shine on my tires once. They wax.... Clean the interior and cleaned my tires in little under 30 min. It was an average day and not super busy. Four other cars were being worked on as well. All in all I lime their car wash and only wished I had something this quick and do an awesome job for the low prices. I will be back! read more

If you don't want the "cheap" gas this is great station to make use of. I wasn't too fond their prices being off, by 10 cents from the pump to the sign. I pulled in based on the sign and left because I know down the road the 76 had similar gas and better pricing. It takes credit cards which can be good for grabbing your gallons when debit or cash aren't available. One thing that really determines a rating for me is ease of access. Really the best angles at this station are eastbound on Nutwood or southbound Placentia. Its not the easiest location around, and there are at least 6 gas stations within 1/2 mile of this spot. Other than the gas and the location, the station does feature a decent food stop and a car wash. Have yet to make use of the wash, but the mixed reviews recently aren't pushing me to give it a go anytime soon. read more

Purchased 3 car washs through Groupon after having a good experience after they first opened. I moved further away so there are now places closer, but the Groupon was a good deal so why not. After my 3 washes, they seemed to get progressively worse. Today, I went to wax the car after the was and found several places they missed along with water spots. There were still some crumbs inside that I was able to easily pick up with my fingers, so a vacuum should have picked them up. Next time, I'll stick to placed closer to home. read more

I also hate it when they're wiping it down inside & they put my windshield wipers on & they forget to reset it so when I hop in & turn on the car, they start going off & my window's get all streaky. I like chevron gas because it's better for my car (yay techron), but I don't like the fact that most of the time chevron is way way more than anyone else. But not here, some of the cheapest gas around (at least for me) a good 20-30 cents cheaper than where I live (irvine), so I always fill up after class. They're really nice here, but it gets crowded often, so sometimes you have to wait. It's hard to sometimes get out of the lot because of traffic, and all of the cars from the car wash. But its worth it to me :) Five stars because one time I gave them the wrong pump, and they were more than happy to fix the problem. read more

Went here today and the emplopyee named "Trainee" (go figure) was yaking on the phone during the entire transactions not evening paying attention to the fact that we already completed the transaction on the credit card swiper. Then her fucking cell phone rings (she's talking on the gas station phone btw)and she throws our receipt on the counter. Who the fucked hired her?! I go here when I'm too lazy to wash my own car. My visits are pretty few and far between, because I feel as though they don't always put all of their effort into it. I usually pay $21.99 for the diamond wash, and I still leave with spots and streaks. They also push in my side mirrors and I always forget to adjust them before I pull away, so I'm stuck driving home in a deathmobile with only the rearview mirror to guide me. I can't roll down the windows, after all...they'll streak! If you're gonna get your car washed here, just pay for the cheap one. It's probably the only one that's worth it, anyway. read more

Earlier this year my bf and I had moved to the Bastanchury and Harbor region from our old place off of Yorba Linda and Placentia. Every couple weeks I would stop by this gas station/car wash to upkeep my car's asthetics with a nice, discounted car wash that you could add on to your gas total. This review is for the car wash portion of this establishment. Obviously with my review comes a 4 star rating as you can see. I am very proud to back the car washing portion of this gas station due to always having my car fully vacuumed, washed, wiped down, and dried with the aid of compressed air & towels. All of the times that I have had my car washed here were positive and I would feel like tipping a couple bucks extra just for their attention to detail. For example, I drove those extra couple miles back here today for some gas and the car wash and noticed that when they were done, my car mats had been picked up. I was slightly annoyed that they didn't put them back in their allotted hooks that keep them still on the floor, but then realized that they had actually taken the time to vacuum under the rugs as well as in the corners of the door. I can let the small detail of not replacing the mats slide when they take the time and care to get under the mats. Small things like this really keep me coming back. The service here is always nice too. You pull up, and immediately greeted with a smile and directions on what to do next. So here's my story: I used to live near this gas station and even watched ti get built during my years in east Fullerton. I enjoyed getting my car washed there on a semi regular basis. I moved but I still work close by, so with my car on fumes I drove there on my lunch break to get a fill-up and wash. Gas has usually been overpriced by $0.10 per gallon compared to station across the street, but they discount your car wash at the pump if you want one. Prices on the sign looked reasonable, but upon closer inspection at the pump (as is becoming increasingly common with many gas stations), the price is higher for credit purchases. However, whereas most stations charge you $0.05 per gallon extra for using credit, this location has taken to charging $010 extra per gallon. Grumbling, I filled my car and chose the discounted car wash at the pump for $9.99. I finished at the pump and drove my car to the was driveway. Since I was getting a discount, I told the man I wanted the Diamond Was, normally $20.99. I have him the keys and went inside to get the plastic voucher one needs to claim their car after servicing. When I went up to the counter to pay the difference, it ended up being $11.00. I was a little confused but paid. I left the counter looking at my receipt from the pump (which the cashier had seen) and the receipt from the cashier. I paid $20.99 for the car wash. So where was the discount? After going back up the cashier and getting an explanation, I discovered that the "discount" is a whopping $1 for every 10 gallons of gas pumped (when he figured this out he refunded me a whole dollar bill). Basically, when you purchase the car wash at the pump, you're paying for the basic wash, normally $10.99 but "discounted" a whole dollar or two (or maybe more if you're fueling a big SUV; there again, you'll probably pay more for the washing of a large vehicle anyhow). Anything above that is the difference. None of this is really explained at the pump. So yes, this whole time I've been going there to get my car washed, I really have only been enjoying a very marginal discount when getting gas & car wash, especially since I drive a car that only has a 13 gallon fuel tank. Between paying higher for gas than compared to the station across the street, getting charged even more for using credit card (twice as much as what other stations charge for the same "convenience"), and having a murky definition of "discount," the only reason I can think that this station is still in business is the car wash, since the Subway that used to be within the same building is long gone. The guys who wash and detail the cars here do a bang-up job, and my car never looks as good elsewhere. It's just a shame they're tied to this crappy gas station. read more

Don't use your debit card! I recently made a $40 purchase of gas here with my debit card. Later that day I went online and checked my bank account. They put the $40 purchase through along with an additional $126 hold on my account. I immediately contacted the manager and all he did was talk over me and gave me an incorrect phone number for Chevron that doesn't even handle this kind of problem. The only customer service that they offer is through email only. No telling how long it's going to take them to get back to me and release my funds. Chevron has no right to put that much of a hold on anyone's account! With business practices like this and terrible customer service, they've lost a good customer! BTW...if you drive a big car like I do (SUV), it's very hard to pull up to the pumps at this station. read more

Terrible Terrible supervision and management, I have been in that station 3 times, I was referred by my friend who lives in the area, I live in Costa Mesa but I start using this station once a week that how often I come to Placentia, the first 2 times they did good job on when they washed my car, the third time on Thursday November 5, 2015, the car came out terrible I mean really really bad, wet everywhere, bird poop spot, when I asked for the superior he said well you choose the cheap car wash which is $14.99 so I even got more upset because I didn't choose any car wash and they should suggested what I need, then I asked to talk to the station manager, well he made it worse, if a manager make situation worse that should flip burgers only, he didn't take irresponsibility and talking down to me him and the supervisor, so I did lost it and told the supervisor off then the manager told me to get the fuck out of the gas-station. Have been going here for many years and enjoy it. They have incredibly low turnover, since I've seen the same managers there for YEARS. Always friendly, always clean, and their machines have never given me an issue. It's chevron, and run by an excellent team. I went to the car wash they have there connected to chevron Friday the 13th 2019. An adapter for my iPhone was stolen. I'm 100% sure it was. I was using it b4 I got there and after my wash I noticed it was gone 30 minutes after. I called and spoke to the car was manager. He said he'll try to find it and will call me back. I never got a call back. I even went in and spoke to an lady that worKed there and she wrote my name and number down. I never got a call back. I went in that following Monday. The car wash employe came to look through my car to see if he would find it but did not find it. And told me to go buy it bring back the receipt and he'll give me free car wash but I don't think it's fair that I have to go buy another one in Exchange for an car wash that I don't even want.
