The first time, I got my money back from the cashier without issue. This time, the person behind the counter first lied and said that the price was correct, and then when I pointed out the price on their sign, he refused to help and told me to call the manager the next day. When I got upset with him he laughed like he thought it was funny that he had stolen money from me. I have reported this to the Shell corporation headquarters and the county and state Departments of Weights and Measures. Hopefully they will be fined and held accountable for this criminal behavior. The inside of this Shell has a very nice and modern looking food mart with several aisles of food items, and a cooler along the back wall with various beverages. There is also a Subway sandwich shop inside. This will probably be my regular gas station from now on. PRO TIP FOR ALL SHELL GAS STATIONS: Shell is partnered with Ralphs grocery stores through the Ralphs Rewards program. For every $100 spent at Ralphs, you earn a $0.10 cent per gallon discount at Shell, up to a maximum discount of $1.00 per gallon.
