I have been visiting this Costco for almost 15 years and it never disappoints. They have a good selection of products and the staff has been mostly friendly and helpful. They tend to always have all their food court items, unless you visit in the last 30-60 minutes before closing. Their poutine, pepperoni and cheese pizzas, chicken strips and fries, ice cream cones, sundaes, and the old turkey provolone sandwich are my all time favourite items! I never liked their old roast beef sandwich. Best times to visit for samples is usually weekends around 11-2 and weekdays around 11-5. Parking tends to be on the heavier side on weekends. Plan accordingly because you will likely spend anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes looking for parking.

New smaller bag

This is so sad. This is how the new world we live in, so disappointing and sad. Ive been buying costco macadamia nuts for years and years. Each new bag would normally fill this 64 oz jar to the brim. Now it fills a tad above 1/2. Pretty sure the price went up too. Pure greed.

we hit up costco around 4:30 pm on christmas eve eve, and it was exactly as wild as you'd expect. my partner spent a solid ten minutes circling the lot for a parking spot while i went in ahead to brave the madness. inside was total chaos, especially in the veggie cold room and grocery aisles. carts everywhere, people darting around like it was a game of bumper cars, but hey, that's part of the costco festive holiday experience, right? of course, we had to grab kirkland's famous rotisserie chicken (it's worth the trip every time), but let's be honest, we never leave with just the chicken. somehow, we've ended up with a squishmallow collection, an obsession with sweet maui onion kettle chips, and a stash of fever tree ginger beer. my latest is the st michel french butter cookies with sea salt. this time, i got what i needed and threw in a couple of pineapple macadamia mini bites, because...why not? honestly, costco is the kind of place where you can find a gift for pretty much anyone, snacks, books, toys, cozy blankets, random fun stuff. it's a one stop shop for all your last minute holiday needs.

poutine and pop

Let's be honest guys, what is the real reason that we all go to costco? Right, the POUTINE! I'm sure all of us Canadians have tried our fair share of poutine from many restaurants. Is it crazy that my favourite poutine is actually from Costco? It's true! The texture of the fries are thick, crispy, and perfect for withholding the heaviness of the gravy and cheese curds. The gravy and cheese curd portions are extremely generous. And to top it all off, the price is super affordable! Absolutely no complaints here. I also like to get the pizza, hot dogs, or chicken strips. I only took off 1 star because yes, it's a little stressful to sit there amongst the hectic crowds and chaos but that's just the nature of the beast that we know as Costco, haha. Anyway, I love the poutine and will continue to rave about it untl forever!

This is still my go to Costco and I am recognizing some of the staff now. Some are darlings and very kind and helpful, others can be quite brusque and abrupt. That's probably a snapshot of life here, the good and bad, the high and low. The best time to go is right when it opens on weekdays. Easy to find parking, not overly crowded with shoppers, and no long line for check out. Now that life is back to normal, they keep changing the way checkout is done. There is a card scanner at the entrance now. Scan the card for the staff to check your photo and your face. So now they don't check card at the self check out line with that in place. I wish there is a portable scanner at the self check out so you don't need to carry the bulky or heavy stuff up to the counter to scan and put on the table. Recommend to go to the regular checkout if you have heavy and bulky stuff. You can leave those in the cart. Weekends are still very busy here.

I like large parking space at this location. I came here many times and always have good experiences. It was not too crowded. Enjoy shopping here for those products that is not available in the USA Costco.

the go to for our groceries, furnaces, prescriptions, household furniture, deli foods, produce, appliances, vaccines, toys, snacks, sporting goods, gardening,...basically everything one may need. Most of my household spending goes to Costco! also props to the food court team! Look at this ice cream. I can get 2 of these vs a double scoop of Earnest ice cream!

Poutine fries from Costco'a food court

Head straight to the food court for CHICKEN WINGS, CHICKEN STRIPS, or FRENCH FRIES, POUTINE STYLE OR WITH GRAVY - American Costco's don't have these! The food had no frills or thrills, but was filling. They call their soda "pop" here on the menu - so cute heh This location is clean and organized. Its massive parking lot is jam-packed. As usual, prices are fair and affordable.

Used to enjoy shopping at Costco. Limit parking, customer rudeness turned me to shop elsewhere.

Otherwise, it really depends on what you buy. Some items require you to buy in multiple of 2 or 3 or even a dozen. Not all items are in bulk or sold in multiples of many. I can find better prices elsewhere for most of the items here. I am guessing that is why the store is never busy.

I sometimes come here to buy plastic disposable gloves among other items for food prep. It's like a…read moremini costco where it's basically a big warehouse and everything is on very large shelves. Unlike Costco, you DON'T have to buy a membership in order to buy stuff here. It's entirely optional. The membership includes perks like member only discounts though. Typical of warehouse stores, a lot of the items are packaged in bulk. For example, you can buy a 6 pack of giant condiment bottles instead of just one pack. Another thing is some discounts are only given if you buy multiples. For example, a bottle of sweet chili sauce goes for $4. But if you buy 4 or more, you get 50 cents off each bottle. All in all, this place is really good for people who buy in bulk. One small negative is that the price tags are hard to find. I came with old relatives who had to look very carefully for the price tags because they were jumbled up with other product price tags for other items that were nearby. Other times, you would have to stoop to the very bottom and peek under a not so see-through plastic lining partly covering the price tags. Also, some prices are more expensive than other grocery stores. I didn't buy a 12 pack of pop here because they were more expensive than other places. Came around 8pm and the checkout line was long. It stretched to the middle of the whole store. The line moved relatively fast and I got to the checkout lane 10-12 minutes later. They have a Walmart style checkout line where one giant line is for 4-5 checkout tills. As far as I know, there are no self checkout lines at this store. Staff here are pretty nice. I forgot an item and they let me run to get it and come back. They chatted about personal stuff with another staff member as they rang my stuff up though. Interestingly, even though Wholesale Club is a sister store of No Frills and Superstore, you CANNOT earn optimum points but you can redeem them here. At least that was what I was told by the cashier at the time. All in all, I would come back once in a while for the restaurant or food prep supplies which aren't really sold in other stores or buy items i need in bulk and get a small discount. 3 out of 5 stars.

Late delivery of orders (multiple days) with a kind older man who is alone and unable to unload larger items that are shipped on pallets and obviously loaded with either a pallet jack or a forklift. Apparently "curb side" service means the truck pulls up to the curb and then it's up to the owners to unload their order. Not the drivers fault at all. I was contracted to site manage the renovation and tried twice to reach the owners representative without any callback, even though I left a message to try and find out when the owners order would arrive. I had not talked to this rep previously so my message asking for some information could have been from anyone of her customers as far as she would know, and no call back. This would appear the norm rather than a missed call to a client to their or their contractor. The upfront people who answer phone and try to assist are friendly and helpful and the drivers as well. Other than that, poor representation, lack of call backs and no way to safely unload orders onto the "curb" I would not recommend this company if this is how they treat all their clients.
