We enjoy going to this Costco, never any problems, the employees are kind and useful. The food at the food court is delicious, and those employees are usually nice. I hate going to any other Costco but this one :) read more

Great customer service. Always open early as customers will line up at the opening. The smoothie and pizza is a great affordable snack. Very good about accepting returns. read more

Really good place. Pizza rocks and is cheap! As if yogurt. As for the least favorite food item, the churro wins the round. Defy and overcooked, it absolutely STINKS. But the store is great. Come in on a Saturday and have a free lunch out of all those samples! But a bad side to this store is not finding items that they use to have! They used to sell a specific type of rice pudding, and they haven't had it back for 2 STINKING YEARS. 4 stars because of crowds, churros, and items. So yeah. Recommend to people who are grocery shopping crazy! read more

I mean, it's Costco. What's not to love? It's a strange drive from my location, but I can't live without Costco. Interestingly enough, I found some neat products that I've never seen at the location in South Florida. A different selection of clothing, produce, and unique products. A second trip is due soon. read more

I went 37 years without knowing Costco. I don't know how I survived. There is no other place where I can spend more money on stuff I don't need in such a short time. The hamburgers are high quality, the salads are excellent, and I love the Brie wheel. Also good for my office supply purchases. read more

Great place and always packed. Best time to shop is on a Friday night, when others are out having a life :)

Worst pharmacy experience I think I have ever had. Over 20 minutes in line just to put in a prescription, then told the wait would be 25 min. Okay, not great, but okay. Then nearly an hour later when they finally had my prescription ready, it was messed up and I had to wait 30 more minutes for them to get it straightened out. The worst of it was that it was not a custom order, merely a prepackaged box that needed a label. Thumbs down! read more

Costco for all its worth, is still a great place. They have a lot of items you wouldn't find other places. I would however, check the dates on the items. I've seen a few times I want something and it's within a weeks time from getting it .. which isn't totally a bad thing but when its in such large quantity you probably need a little more time to eat it. My boyfriend loves eating their pizza, I have to say I equate it chucky cheese quality. I do recommend their frozen yogurt or fruit desserts. I didn't realize until last time I was in, they actually have a liquor store attached separately on the north side of the entrance. I will be checking that out asap. I like supporting costco because I know they treat their employees good and they do have a vast selection of everything; furniture , clothes, and different people will come in with special items that you won't find other places. read more

The lines are always long, the parking lots is like playing dodgem. Also, does costco actually believe we believe the BS they give us when they 'look at our receipts to ensure price accuracy'? I don't think holding a receipt for under 10 seconds and drawing a line with a highlighter does any loss prevention. Holding up people to do a potentially demoralizing false imprisonment when they own the property is stupid. The only reason they get away with it is it is in the member contract but really, do you think the 60 year old guy or the kid playing on his cell phone is checking my cart? DUMB. read more

This Costco has everything I need, all under one huge roof! The avocados become lively shades of green inside and ready to eat within a few days, the whole sale store is always well stocked with clothes and appliances and other household necessities and fresh food, and I do love the Sunday samples that become my midday meal! I found out about Costco's organic tomato basil soup (I forget the brand name) through one of their sampling days. I need a down coat real soon and I have seen them at Costco's so I plan to pick one up. The employees are always willing to help, and I enjoy supporting local businesses that have their products available at Costco. read more

This Costco is usually fully stocked and i can find what I'm looking for quickly. But i always spend too much.

Living in Winter Park I have learned to pack a cooler and hit the Arvada Costco store once a month. This place is always busy! Costco has a way to suck hours from day there are so many things to buy and so many things I buy I don't really need. My husband and I have become walking Costco ads and buy a lot of clothing here from $20 coats, work out wear, and Calvin Klein men's clothing. Yes Costco has the deals and I love a good deal. I make the drive down to stock up on cheese, coffee and meat. Our Fraser Safeway doesn't have rack of lamb and Costco has great rack of lamb. They also have lots of Seafood like Shrimp, Crab and Salmon another thing I like to buy here. The cheese is a great deal too. I shudder when I have to pay full price for cheese after shopping Costco. I've been on a smoothie kick and the Naked juices are larger and better priced. We also like to stock up on veggies like Asparagus, spinach and Kale. I'm glad there is a Costco. Wish there was one in Grand County. There is a wine store next to this Costco with great prices too. The only thing I don't like about Costco is my bill when leaving the store. Get the Executive membership at least the membership is free every year with the percentage we get back. I was sad to hear that they will no longer be taking American Express next year though as it's the only card we use and we love our points. Costco has great products at great prices! read more

Finally hitting this place up on a non Sunday. For some reason I always seem to find myself going here on a Sunday. My recommendation....DONT DO IT! Anyway, if you like buying in bulk; this is the place. Employees are always friendly and it's NOT Sams Club. read more

I am amazed every time I visit a Costco, as to how much I can save on my food, but also the quality of their products. We are constantly impressed with their exceptional service, and fun shopping experience. Parking can be a pain in the ass, but I guess that is good that Costco is so busy! read more

I have to confess, I have 6 children, and they are always hungry! So for me, Costco isn't really buying in bulk, its just normal grocery shopping. That being said, i save a ton of money at costco by shopping there. I probably save $5000 a year in grocery expenses over the usual grocery stores. And their stuff is pretty high quality as well. Not just the food, but the other items too. Clothes, TV's, tires, you name it. Last time I got my tires there I saved $350 from the quote I got a discount tire for the same tires. read more

I am so happy that I reside close to Costco. Everything about this location is 5 star status plus. Associates are informative and helpful. Product mix is always of the highest quality. Any changes that occur continue to make this venue even better. Perfect example of this is with their organic produce. Also, a double banger with only this location having booze right next door. It's a pleasure to shop Costco. Thank you to all the associates that make shopping there a pleasure. read more

i now have enough strawberry special k to last the rest of my life. can't complain. got my tires for reeal cheep. there is something that fascinates me about going to a store and being able to get new tires, pair of gloves, tank-top, some trail-mix, sushi, windex, new couch, California closets, any gift certificate known to man, a new cell phone, half rack of ribs, couple of books, toothpaste and tampons. read more

This is the Costco that is closest to me. It's a pretty congested part of Arvada during the week. That makes me think twice about coming. Rush hour is the worst around this area. It's always busy during the afternoon, it's a decent store. I've been there many times and the only problem I really have is the wait times at checkout but what can really be done? I make sure my trip is worth the time it takes to get there and find a good spot. The service is as good as expected. I've never experienced anything but typical good customer service. Nobody has gone "above and beyond" at any Costco location I've been to. I suggest going during the early afternoon if you want to try something before you buy it. I love the variety they always offer. Sometimes I'm sad to see products go too. It can get pretty hectic during the holidays so prepare ahead of time if you can. Their gift card selection is terrific. I will see you there! read more

The customer service in this Costco needs real help. At first I thought it was a one off but it started from the first before we got our card and my hubby went in the wrong door and they told him he could not come in Instead of directing him where to purchase a card they just said you don't have a card you cant come in. I thought at the time it was funny. But then it was more at the checkout lane, and then the pharmacy was a nightmare. I asked them once to call my doctor and they said it is against store policy and if we did that we would spend all our day calling. They told my husband when he was trying to get a prescription moved over they would only do one at a time when he needed it. I will probably go back to a Hometown Pharmacy it cost more but the service is worth it. I had not finished this review and have since been very ill and dealt with two other pharmacies since. i didnot say anything at the time but the Costco Pharmacist was so mean spirited and rude to us when I go into a pharmacy now I am nervous on how I will be treated. Safeway in Littleton on mineral drive during my illness was wonderful, the pharmacists laughs and explains things to you, and it feels safe to ask him questions. The Costco In Littleton is much more professional as well. Slowly I am readjusting back to having good customer care and working with people who are not hostile and mean. read more

I have lived in Arvada for a long time and I like the fact that we have our own Costco store in the city. For the most part, the city of Arvada, or the people of Arvada, have supported the store. We need Costco to return a favor, an easy favor if it wants to do it. Costco sells merchandise at a very competitive price; we all know that. Why Costco chooses to charge the maximum sales tax on items that they sell is hard to understand. Let me explain: We all understand that the difference between MSRP, (or manufacture suggested retail price), and selling price are two different things. MSRP does not apply only to cars, by the way. According to Costco's main office in Seattle, when Costco places an item "on sale", it is often because it is getting a rebate from the manufacture. However, it will still charge the sales tax amount based on the original price of the goods. For the same item, say a camera or a TV, Costco will sell at a competitive price in Arvada, but charges the sales tax according to the original price. Its competitors do not. Costco says it is charging the sales tax according to the local ordinance, but are they also suggesting that the other retailers are violating the laws? If the Costco corporate buyers choose to pay for their inventory at a net price, instead of getting a "rebate" from the sellers, then it would not have to charge Arvada citizens the extra sales tax. Arvada citizens would prefer to have more money in their pockets instead of paying more sales tax. Costco, why wouldn't you do this for us? May be we need to vote with our wallets to make a point that Costco would understand. Annie C read more

VERIZON STORE IS AWFUL. I have had two horrible salespeople at the Verizon store. They are pushy and rude. The money you will save on your phone is not worth it. Too bad I can't give the Wadsworth Costco Verizon store zero stars - they deserve it. read more

Costco is great! The pharmacy, however, is the worst and most unprofessionally run place I have ever been. The pharmacist,Amanda, is incredibly rude and unwilling to assist customers in any sort of civil manner. They were out of a medication we needed , for the second time, and didnt bother to call and let us know. She said the medication was rare and no one keeps it in stock. She then lied to us and said she called other Costco pharmacies in the area and they did not have it either. We personally called the other stores and they had the medication "no problem". Dont bother with this place, King Soopers was much more helpful. read more

Just to say, I will be shopping at Costco but I was left with a really bad taste in my mouth after this experience. I brought something back about 1 1/2 years ago and I received a credit instead of cash (I did want it that way). Well I went to use the card at my time of purchase and I was told that I should have swiped my credit before the transaction. That was fine I will use it next time. Long story short what I was given was a hotel key. I went to tell the return people what had happened and they said that that was not what they issued credit on. I knew that they said I needed a receipt for the amount credited. I told them I did not have it (I do not blame them for this) but they did not say we are sorry they just turned their back to me and were talking to the membership guy. I finally said thank you and walked away. read more

Goid service good food. But thw lines are soo long oh well i mean they hace good prices compared to other stores but overall good

I had a terrible experience the Costco Arvada Store on 12/15/14. I tried to made a purchase for approximatley $1,000 and the transaction was not approved due to a security concern. I went to the manager's desk, called AMEX, answered a security question, and they told me the card would now work. The manager on duty, Edwin M. according to my receipt, went to a different credit card machine on a side desk and stated the card still wasn't working. I questioned if he was using the machine properly and if he knew how to utilize this type of machine. He became visably upset with me and accused me of "talking down to him." Needless to say, I did not appreciate his behavior and respectfully requested that he utilize the normal cashiers register. The normal register approved the trasaction. Edwin M. never apologized for his behavior. read more

Pros:So far I haven't met any yet. Although I am trying to give the benefit of the doubt that not everyone there will treat me the same way as I was treated today. I've heard good things about Costco as a workplace but it wasn't exemplified today by a management or HR type employee. Cons:I spent an hour working on my resume and then another 30 minutes working on the application for Costco in Arvada, CO. I was told by a cashier that I should apply and that they may be hiring. She told me that after applying I should call and talk to someone about my application so that's what I did. When I called a woman answered and I told her I applied and she said to hang on and she put me on hold... OR SO SHE THOUGHT. I'm still on the phone listening to her talk to her coworker about something else that they were in the middle of. It sounded work related and since my call probably interrupted them, I was understanding. Then there was a lot of moving around like she was carrying the phone around or something I don't really know but after that she started mentioning how someone on the phone was asking if they're hiring and that some cashier told me to call after applying and "are we hiring or not?". Now before you call me a sensitive sally.... it was how she was saying it. VERY RUDELY as if I was a huge inconvenience to them and that it was dumb of the cashier to have told me that. It was all huff and puffy like "ugghh what a drag this person wants to apply here" and then when she answered the phone she said they weren't currently hiring and so I asked if I could leave my name and number for if anything opens up and she said no that they weren't hiring. I said thank you and she said goodbye and hung up. I just think that this whole finding jobs on the internet thing is hard enough and I spend so much time and energy practically working a part time job to call and get some snotty attitude like I'm not worth their time. This is not the first time I've seen or been on the receiving end of this kind of attitude and I'm sick of it. So to all the managers or whoever takes those calls... please try to think about how hard that person probably worked and how nervous they probably are to call and ask if you have something that would mean a lot to them. You've been there once too and if you haven't.... well then I'm sorry you don't know how to be polite to people. Advice to Management: Please enforce to yourself and your fellow coworkers that it is not ok to act like your in high school. When a person comes in or calls to apply and you act like their a huge inconvenience or even a slight inconvenience and you show that behavior in front of your employees, it encourages everyone to act the same way and that's not cool. If you're too busy to take the time to talk to the person then just politely ask them to call back or come in at a different time when you can have more time to spend with them. Don't be impolite and don't teach your coworkers that it's ok to be impolite. read more

Mason & Jay are the best. I purchased two large boxes of very heavy garage shelving. Mason and Jay not only loaded it into my vehicle, but taught me a cool feature about my vehicle. I had no idea there was a lever at the base of the seats causing them to collapse into the floor and create a much needed level surface. I've used the feature at least ten times since my visit to Costco. Can't beat the prices or the service. Thanks Mason and Jay! read more

Normally my family and I shop at the Costco in Littleton (Oxford & Santa Fe). I came to this one for a change. It was on a Saturday, May 21, 2016. The store was busy but not like being slammed on a Sat like I'm used to at the Littleton Costco. Upon checking out, the so-called bagging person put my things in the cart without asking if I wanted a box. I had to ask for a box. Then the bagging lady retrieved a box that only held less than half my goods. When I grabbed my cart after payment, the bagging lady said, "I did not know if you wanted another box." Well guess what doofus, I had an 8 month-new child in a car seat in the SAME DAMN BUGGY as you were putting my goods into. Did it ever occur to your idiotic brain that yes, of friggin' course I need another box! I had to get another box on my way out. I asked the gal at the exit who checked my receipt if it was normal for checkers at this store to not use boxes. She said the new manager fired so many people the remaining employees did not have time to grab boxes. What the hell? This is the COMMON practice of Costco. No matter how slammed the Littleton Costco is, they have not always asked to box of my goods but they offer to load my car due to our child. read more

Great place to survive if you are homeless, enough free samples most days to sustain any human! The store is usually busy with long lines but the staff works hard to get customers moving along. Many staff have been their long term which reflects on a company that values their employees. They have great line of pet products as well as usual line of people staples. Their empty boxes are quickly favored over the $1000 worth of toys I have purchased for my cats!! Cafe is great value for family outing or pizza nite. I purchased eye glasses and saved easily $200 over name brand eye care store. Gas is priced well below local competition for high quality product. We purchased computers here and got extended warranty without additional charge just for being a Costco customer. Only drawback is parking lot is dangerous and could be laid out better. It would nice if they posted markers at beginning of isles to alert consumers which general product lines are located as they frequently move items. Hope the new CEO doesn't veer from original company values which make it a strong competitor in tight economy. read more

***TIRE CENTER REVIEW*** Ordered and paid for tires on Monday, was told they would be delivered the next day and I could bring the vehicle in any time for install. Called the next day at 11:30 to make sure it was still okay to bring in for install, they said yes bring it in. Wasted my lunch and a co-workers lunch to drop the vehicle off for the afternoon so they would have plenty of time to install. They said they would call when they were done, 5:30 came, still no call. So I call them, the tires were never delivered like I was told. Wasted my co-workers time and fuel again to drive me to pick up the vehicle. I was then told that the tires would definitely be there the next day and they would call me as soon as they came in. Again, 5:30 came, no phone call, so I call them. They show 8 in stock now but can't find them in the shop so the manager ordered another set that would be in Thursday and that since it had been such a difficult task that when I brought the vehicle in, they would get it in right away so I wouldn't have to waste any more time. Thursday morning, I had to call, again, because they can't simply call to give you the good feeling inside that the tires had actually made it this time. Yet again, waste my lunch and my co-workers lunch and fuel to drop it off and I was going to just wait since they said they would get it right in so I wouldn't have to waste more time. Drop it off, they say it is going to be 2.5 hours wait so I tell them just make sure to call when it's done. 5:30 comes yet again, and I am the one who has to call to check if it is done. Literally, it's like pulling teeth to get an ounce of customer service out of these people!! If you like to waste time and fuel and destroy brain cells out of frustration, go stop into Costco Tire Center Arvada, they can help you there. But that is the only thing they'll help you with. read more
