Consistently good, I grabbed a hotdog after waiting through the crowds Thursday night after work to pick up groceries and it was worth it! I only had to wait about five minutes and I was ready to go, hot dog in hand

Best place to go for an inexpensive lunch. You can't get a cheaper hotdog and soda anywhere else. I stopped by for a slice of cheese pizza and a berry smoothie, and spent less than $6!

Crowded Food Court

As a huge Costco fan, I would rate this Costco as a mid Costco, but definitely still one worth visiting! Being in Arlington, it is very crowded and is a small space for a Costco. They have lay parking and a garage, but will validate your parking. While they had a great selection of products and food, the service was not great. We stood in line forever just to be told that we (and everyone behind us) weren't in the correct line by an employee 15 minutes later... I was not impressed by the service and atmosphere. Luckily, the pizza and cookie at the food court were amazing and a great value! 3 of us split the cookie and it filled us up after each having a slice of pizza. The pizza was uniquely slightly undercooked which actually gave it a fluffy and fun flavor! Great value for dinner and the products that we bought.

Garage elevator was stuck on the 3rd floor and 911 had to come and get the people out from the elevator.

I strongly DO NOT recommend using the garage elevator at this Costco location Today the elevator on the 3rd floor got stuck, trapping people inside, and Arlington Fire and EMS (911) had to respond to evacuate them. I parked in the adjacent indoor garage on the 3rd floor. I briefly recorded the emergency response from a safe distance. A parking garage employee approached and told me to stop filming, so I immediately complied with no issues. With the elevator out of service, I had no choice but to walk back up to the 3rd floor to retrieve my car, since hauling heavy Costco groceries down multiple flights of stairs is not realistic. As I was trying to exit the garage, a garage employee instructed her colleague to photograph my vehicle and license plate. That colleague then followed me through the garage while taking additional photos of me and my car. They even followed me outside the garage to continue taking photos of me, and ran away when I attempted to photograph the employee who was following and photographing me. I was simply attempting to leave due to the elevator failure and posed zero threat or disruption. The staff's overreaction-escalating to following and photographing a customer mid-exit felt like unnecessary intimidation. Combined with the serious elevator outage, this made for a very poor experience. The parking lot employees showed hostile behavior toward me, and they really need to check their attitudes toward customers. Fix your elevators and your employees' behavior.

Pentagon City Costco does not have a gas station. It does have auto service and tires.

Does the food court require membership?

Technically yes, but not enforced everywhere

Yes.

Have the crowds died down at this Costco? In March and April it was crazy!

It really just depends on what time you go. Weekends and week nights can be pretty busy.

I want to kick myself for letting it take this long. It is always so vibrant here, tons of people coming and going. Ample parking, both on and off street. A bunch of outside seating and just a crowd that is happy to be here. Then, inside, get ready for a sensory overload. All the aromas from all the different stalls will make you second guess where you will grab some grub. Then you might also want to graze...err, I mean browse on what to take home. I love exploring this place. I wandered around for quite some time until I zeroed in on where to eat. Even though this place is always so busy, it feels intimate enough to be alone in a sea of people. With that, I give you review 4400!

We decided to do our own little food tour within the market and sample some bites from a few stalls. We tried: 1. Masala dosa from Sambar & Spice. This may have been one of the best dosas I've ever had, and I'm not exaggerating. So epic! A must try, 2. Chicken dumplings from Laobun - soft, freshly prepared and melt in your mouth good. Also affordable! 3. Fish tacos from the famous seafood spot. These were sadly my least favorite item on our little food tour, the slaw was overpowering but if removed the pan seared fish was flavorless. 4. Wrapped up with some matcha and iced coffee - can't go wrong with those. Enjoyed browsing the little artisan stalls as well. An amazing stop on my trip to DC!

I can see why this Sam's Club has a low rating because some of their employees are incompetent. I…read morecame in on Monday right after I worked the night shift to get new tires. I actually had a balance and rotation scheduled but over the weekend I developed a bubble in my tire so I had to order a whole new set. Seems like when I come here that's always the case. So the tires set me back a cool $600 which included all the disposal fees and that was with my discount for buying my full set from them before...$80. So I came in today as they were fully booked on Tuesday when they called me that my tires were in. I canceled and rearranged my whole schedule to come get this put on and when I get there they going to tell me the guy ordered the wrong tires! Now how in the hell did he do that! At first the guy was like you ordered the wrong tires. I had to correct him and said no YOU ALL ordered them when I came in on Monday. Like he was trying to act like I just went online and ordered some random sizes. I asked for the manage because it seemed like the actual size was going to costs me more. After about 15 minutes the manager came by and gave me 20% discount and a small refund as the new actual size tires were a little bit cheaper than what the other guy charged me! So a lesson learn keep your receipts handy as I had mine in my wallet and when I showed him his whole demeanor changed as he saw who rung me up on Monday. Moral of the story I guess you gotta ask the "professional" if they given you the correct sizes because that was some bs. Now I gotta drive another several days on a tire with a huge bubble in hoping and praying it doesn't blow up on me anytime soon before they get the tires. Only given them 3-stars because there was no back and forth they went straight in and discounted and gave me a return. This same club is very more cluttered compared to the same club in Woodbridge it's given dollar tree vibes...

It would be perfect if Costco would bring back the English crumpets they previously sold and served as samples. I bring her everywhere I go she's very intuitive and aware of how I'm feeling and is always protective. Well I brought her in Costco with me because I have been able to do so BUT NOT TODAY. I met a manager there named Shantel and she denied my service dog entry because she determined with her expertise that my service dog "was not acting like a service dog" according to her. But she failed to realize my service dog was backing up to me and having to account for each person coming and going and with Shantel approaching me she was having to focus on a lot of things going on. I think all entrances of Costco have well over 100 people per hour come through and it's fair to say a dog that is trained to protect and to be aware of its surroundings and having an owner with disabilities it might be a very active moment for the dog regardless of their age or how well they are trained. Onyxx is not the best service dog on the world or like a military or police dog but she helps and does a good job. But to be denied entry due to what someone who has no real experience or is legally able to determine what is or isn't a service dog is unreal. No I do not put my dog in a "service dog vest" or have a "service dog" little patch on her but my disabled veteran military ID should suffice enough. I did call Costco corporate and submitted a formal complaint because there is no real signage posted or anything anywhere to set a standard of what is required for entry for a service dog. I don't know if I need to carry around my military VA paperwork to prove I need a service dog.... It really shouldn't be an issue. Onyxx was not lunging at anyone or barking. She was just accounting for anyone approaching or around to determine a threat or made me uncomfortable. She immediately saw no one is a threat or poses as a threat and can instantly make that determination. If anything she just sniffed someone like any dog does. She is almost 2 years old so there will be lapses. Shes a giant schnauzer it's a very intelligent breed known to be service dogs. Anyways, I am attaching Google AI search of Alexandria, VA laws about service dogs for others to know their rights for your ADA dog. So that hopefully Shantel and other employees of Costco can know. Hope things improve I'll be back next week with Onyxx to see if anything has changed. Shantel clearly doesn't know she's not legally allowed to deny a service dog due to her own opinion that my service dog "is not acting like a service dog" nor is Onyxx required to wear a "service dog vest" nor am I legally required to provide any documentation. In essence she called a military veteran a liar even after I told her I'm a disabled veteran and this is my service dog.
