    Went to Sam's for coffee and ended up with PJ's for our annual family Christmas picture! Lol! Let's face it. If you go into Sam's you will need to open up your purse and give a few extra coins because they have such a wide variety of things available. Not only are their things you would find in a grocery store but there are fresh flowers, furniture, tires and clothes too. I also love their convenient prepared foods. I usually grab a rotisserie chicken with a salad for a quick Friday night dinner. I will say this is the first time I did have to wait in line for it. But it wasn't too long. Of course there is a annual membership fee but I always find a good deal on Groupon. I love Sam's but I have to limit my trips because I always spend way over my budget(in a good way)

    Who doesn't love Sams??!!?? Priced perfectly, something for every room in your home. Kitchen, Living space, laundry room, pets, kids, outdoors and much more! We come for bulk items helping my family save money and get more for our money! We've had a basic membership for years but recently upgraded to the premium which owes us more savings and cash back at the years end. I personal love the app, I'm able to scan as I go making sure I stay in budget ( which is a problem for me) and then I just pay and walk out!! Hello! Love it!!! Especially during the weekend when everyone in the dmv area goes to Sams! Of course the membership cost I pay $100 yearly. My sister in GA has my bonus card so she can shop in her area as well. If you don't know now you do!

    **Review for Sam's online customer service only** It sucks. The personnel at the store re-confirmed in case I was left wondering. I renewed my membership and was eligible for $45 gift card, which was supposed to have been emailed to me last night when I paid for the membership. It wasn't (something else the store personnel confirmed is no accident sometimes). They advised that I call the online number to have them email my certificate. After almost a 10 minute hold, first guy get tells me he can't do it any sooner than 48 - 72 hours. This after putting me on hold for 3 to 4 minutes and going to "check" on policy. Comes back and puts me on hold for another 3 to 4 minutes. Meanwhile, I have the store customer service people telling me in the other ear (as he's lying) to me that of course he can email me the e-cert (that it's done all the time) - and to ask for supervisor....which I did. Conveniently, I get hung up on immediately thereafter (apparently that was no accident either, according to them) and call right back. This time (after a 7 hold this time) I asked for a supervisor and I get a lady on the phone named "Chloe". She's understanding and helpful, of course. Appropriately apologetic but didn't seem particularly willing to add anything additional for my inconvenience. I had to insist. At this point I've been in the store almost 45 minutes extra beyond just picking up my membership card - which took less than 5 minutes. She eventually adds $10 extra to my $45 gift certificate = $55. The same two ladies that were helping me told me that it happens all the time. That they're intimately familiar with how bad Sam's online is versus the in-store experience and how many messes that they have to clean up that are created by the online people. How those "$45 gift card offers" are conveniently absent despite being part of the carrot to lure new memberships. This was my first experience with the online folks and it wasn't a good one. Not a good start Sam's - at all. If I wasn't already a customer and that was my initial introduction to your services, I would have left that membership card in the store and requested my money back. Please. Do. Better.

    Totally different pickup experience than the previous. 1 star only because it's required by Yelp & I EVENTUALLY received my order, yes EVENTUALLY! 8:38am received text that my order was ready for pickup. Arrived & responded to the text @ 9:19am. System response received immediately. After waiting, I called the store & spoke w/an employee @ 9:27, 9:43 & 9:52am. Someone finally arrives, empty handed & states, the store did not receive the notification that I'd arrived, due to a glitch in their system. My response, "OK, but I called three times". The employee appeared to want to engage in a back & forth about the system glitch. As I have zero patience for that type of behavior, I asked for my order & requested the employee add a watermelon to the order. A few minutes later employee returns, w/my order. System delay w/Scan & Go, adding my cvv code. Employee even had the nerve to ask if I wanted to step inside to pay for the additional item. "No, that defeats the purpose of placing a pickup order". FINALLY @ 10:05am, 14 minutes shy of an hour, we're finally on our way! UNACCEPTABLE, DISAPPOINTING, overall HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

When orders are stated to be ready they are in fact NOT. I've arrived several times and was told I'd have to wait until later, wait until a manager is able to print orders or something else. The staff is very unprofessional, can be demeaning and ignorant. This is not how business is conducted and patrons of this store should not be expected to deal with this nonsense. Last night I placed an order, time for pickup was 8:51am the following morning . I arrived after 9:45am and was told my order was not ready and I would need to come back later. When asked what time the guy said someone would be in around 2pm! I let them know my order stated it was ready at 8:51am. He went back and forth with me saying it's not his fault whoever worked last night didn't run the machine and I will have to wait for a manager who knows how to run the machine. Another employee interjected when I began to explain this is an inconvenience to customers who place orders and travel in to pickup. She let me know he doesn't know how to run the machine. When I asked if my photo would be ready by 2 they laughed and said no the person comes in around that time. The way I was handled was down right not ok.As I began to walk away I heard someone burst out laughing, I turned and said this type of treatment of your customers is not funny and I will be making a complaint , someone said "fuck you" in a low tone. Sad to say this was not the first incident like this. With different employees. As it is graduation season I suggest no placing orders at this location if you need them by the given pickup time. They did this same mess when I was getting married and I had to cancel my order and reorder through another photo printing store! I hope corporate is able to get this location in order because there is no reason they act the way they do. It's never overly busy, staff just seem to be untrained in professionalism and on how to do their jobs.

So she tells me one moment and transfers me to pharmacy for no apparent reason. The person in pharmacy is of course confused as am I. I can hear them all whispering in the background saying it's a DoorDash order etc. the pharmacy associate then tells me they can't help me because they already handing off my order. Please teach the kids how to do their job effectively. As a pharmacy associate that was definitely not the way to handle that situation.

    This CVS pharmacy is very hit and miss. I would probably give them one or two stars because they tend to frustrate me with inefficiency with the insurance, texting me my prescription is ready and then saying it isn't when I arrive, or oddly deciding to stop texting and start calling me with an auto-alert about my mediation - I prefer texts and had my app account set up that way! But today, the lady who helped me was great! I went to pickup my prescription that was way overpriced (and when I called in advance the person who answered claimed they did indeed use the right insurance - but of course they didn't). When I arrive I tell her I have two prescriptions to pick up but she can only find one. I told her I just got a phone call the 2nd one was ready. She then looks into it and sees that they had applied one of them on an old account I had when I lived in another state many years ago. Why they would use that account when I they have my Maryland account information and have been using it for the past year I have no idea. She then checks and confirms the price I was given was indeed wrong and she fixed that - saving me almost $20. Lastly she said she would consolidate my accounts so this won't happen again. Now that's service! She should get employee of the year at this CVS, because many of their employees can learn a lot of customer service skills from her!!!

I come to this pharmacy because they offer the drive thru option. The pharmacy counter attendant, Angie was very pleasant so she made the experience better. She was absolutely a hoot to watch, as she interacted with her customers. What a phenomenal attitude she exudes. Shows she really enjoys what she does! Angie for president!!

    I give them a one star only because this is the lowest option they allow…read more I went to the Walgreens on high street in Waldorf Maryland Nov. 3, 2023 and brought a gift card and the cashier told me my card didn't go through when it did go through. He tried twice and both times stated the card didn't go through, so I showed him he received 2 authorizations on my card. I advised him to cancel those transactions and I'd pay in cash. He then asked me to go to the next register and I paid in cash. I asked him was he going to void the card transactions and he said he didn't know how and got the manager who told me to dispute this with my bank. I call the corporate office and they said someone would contact me within 24 hours. A week went past and no one from corporate contacted me so I sent them another email and no response. I spoke to my niece who went to this same Walgreens in July and she purchased a gift card at 8pm. When she went to use the card the next day her purchase was declined. When she called the number on the card to check the balance there was a charge on the card the same night she brought the gift at 10pm. I am more than convinced that there is internal fraud going on with Walgreens and they are not addressing these issues at this location and maybe other locations. Why are there so many issues with the gift cards and why is the staff not properly trained on how to handle an error they made. Why have a manager on duty who doesn't know how to void a transaction when the employee made the error. I'm just curious as to why corporate has not contacted me to even acknowledge my issue. I spoke to a family member who stated Walgreens wanted me to dispute this with my bank because the charge is under the card floor limit and the bank would take the loss and Walgreens took in revenue to make it look like they had a good year in profit when majority of their profit is due to employee error that they refused to address or refund. Not sure what government agency needs to get involved but we are researching this to get them involved. Stay away from Walgreens or you'll be fighting to get your money back.

Another CVS at Target was out…read moreof the medication my doctor ordered but said that this CVS, the one in White Plains, had it in stock. They said it would probably take them an hour to fill it. So I asked them to transfer the Rx there. I then called this Pharmacy and got a recorded message saying that they had received my prescription order and they were filling it, how much tge estimated cost was,, and they would notify me when it was done. After waiting for 2 hours I went into this Pharmacy here in White Plains and was told that they also were out of stock of that medicine. I told them the Target CVS had said it was in stock and that their recording said they were filling the prescription. The staff person looked annoyed, and she told me no all that means is that it's "on the truck" to be delivered to them. The truck hadn'tcome yet.. So I asked when the truck was due to arrive and she shrugged and said sometime between now and 7:00 p.m.. (it was 1:00 in the afternoon). Another staff person behind her pointed out that in fact, the truck might not be delivering their stock until the next day. This was not a maintenance prescription; this was an urgent one. I think to most people there's a difference between having something in stock and having something on order to be delivered sometime -- unknown -- within the next 24 hours. So I asked her to please write down the name of the medicine so I could call other pharmacies to see if they had it because I could not wait for 24 hours. She practically rolled her eyes and then wrote down the name of the medicine and handed it to me. I asked her wasn't there a dosage that was prescribed, and she took back the paper and jotted a number (7.5 -- no units like mg or ml). I left and called Safeway which is not affiliated with CVS, and their staff person actually put me on hold and looked in the stock room to make sure they actually had the prescription in the store, not on some truck somewhere. But now the doctor had to reissue the prescription to Safeway. The main reason for this one star review is that, while the staff probably has no control over a ridiculous computer system that indicates they have a medication when in fact they do not, the staff attitude towards a customer was inexcusable. Here, I had traveled out of my way to discover what I was told on the phone was not true, and they acted like I was an annoyance. At least the previous Pharmacy at Target notified me that there was a problem with the prescription and an actual human being called me and explained that they didn't have it in stock. I hope never to have to use CVS again, and I will especiially avoid this particular location in White Plains. The staff at CVS in Target at least has manners and professionalism. Avoid this place if you can.
