I'm a really big fan of Costa Vida. It's a family favorite for us and they have saved us a number of times. I'm a big fan of the mango chicken salad and anything with the chipotle raspberry sauce. Well we normally have a five-star experience, and this was our first time eating in Lehi. We ordered in advance through the app so that everything would be ready when we got there. We had a tight window to feed the family and get on our way. Long story short, when we arrived at our scheduled pick up time, it didn't appear that they had even started our order. I had to wait 30 minutes for an order that takes less than five minutes to put together. They kept telling us that it would be right out and they served a few dozen others while we waited. This Costa Vida is in a great location. It's right off the freeway and in the Thanksgiving Point area. The staff is always friendly and nice. I love that they have a drive thru BUT they have gotten my order wrong a couple times. Once they did miss my dressing for the salad so just make sure you check. Their horchata isn't my favorite. Great location and spacious seating. Yet, when I compare with cafe rio this location & costa vida falls short. Several reasons first compare their small salad with cafe rio- it is at least 30% smaller yet more expensive, the ingredients are about the same but cafe rio provides more meat, the vinaigrette dressing is better than cafe rio but the tortillas are not as tasty. Staff attitude is poor at this location. Lastly the drink bar offers less options than cafe rio. If they were side by side I would chose cafe rio 100% of the time. read more

This review is gonna be shorter than most of my reviews The place is located in thanksgiving points newest but one of the brightest hangout eatery spots. Located right next to cubbys Costa vida turned out to be another chipotle style Mexican restaurant but with slightly less flavorful ingredients according to my pallet. Nothing extraordinary as you can see from my photo, I had a smothered veggie burrito with black beans, rice and some bell peppers and onions to top of the veggie portion, so nothing out of ordinary here as well. Service was okay as was ambience with no unique wow factor. Place had decent crowd but as did rest of joints in the location , and actually we had intended to go to cubbys but had to switch to Costa vida as line in cubbys was long and we were short on time. Pricing was okay as well and altogether it felt like I ate an okay lunch. I would honestly recommend to find a different place for lunch if one has the time and wants to try something more fun and interesting. read more

Good old costs Vida, a classic spot for Utah eats. Not a whole lot to say about it besides the fact that the food is relatively inexpensive compared to most places, and while the food is a FAR cry from anything authentic - they've pulled together a good mix of flavors and items to satisfy your entry-level Mexican eater. We had some Ukrainians that we work with in town for the week and decided to go here since they weren't hamburger fans. Costa Vida has never been a place that I've recommended, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. I wasn't expecting anything great, just a decent meal. I had a sweet pork burrito with bland and pinto beans, cilantro lime rice and cheese. I had them put the red enchilada sauce on top and the green chile sauce inside. You get a lot of food for a decent prize, and it's actually okay food. Cafe Rio seems to be the go to standard around these parts, so in comparison to that I would put it a little bit under their pork burrito. They have a decent selection of hot sauce that you can use, which I always appreciate. They also have horchata available, along with a couple other spanish drinks. The atmosphere is horribly loud. I'm not sure why that became a thing, but I really hate it. Seating is okay, but as is the case with all of the restaurants around this location, it can be very crowded around lunch. Same goes for parking. Overall this is a nice addition to the area. read more

This isn't the type of place I would go out of my way to eat at because to me it's in between a fast-food joint and a sit-down restaurant. The food is still prepared decently quick, but the quality is much higher than your fourth-meal Taco Bell. All of that being said, I enjoy the food here and would normally choose it over anything similar. However, if it comes down to here, Chipotle, or Cafe Rio I would probably choose here because they have specialty drinks (limonada, horchata, agua fresca de sandia) that are refillable for free. All you can drink Horchata you say? Count me in! Also, it's some of the best Horchata I've ever had. Doesn't help that they have blocked comments/instructions for their restaurant on the doordash app and they dont have modifiers for no cheese or no pico as an option either. read more

Today I was craving the cinnamon tortilla and figured it was lunchtime anyway. I was already near the restaurant so I got a sweet pork salad with the cinnamon tortilla I was craving. Got home and opened the tortilla - it was not what I ordered. A cold corn tortilla with no cinnamon or sugar. It was supposed to be a warm flour tortilla with cinnamon sugar. What a bummer. So I tried this for the first time today, I got a grilled chicken burrito and tried their various sauces picking their spiciest one for my burrito. The chicken burrito has a interesting flavor since their spicy sauce has a sweet taste to it and their chicken almost has a teriyaki chicken flavor to it like Waba Grill. Costa Vida is pretty American with it's flavors and isn't a authentic Mexican restaurant by any stretch but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable. I asked for a sweet pork burrito with MILD sauce and she gave me MEDIUM sauce. Oh and did I mention she FORGOT THE SWEET PORK IN THE SWEET PORK BURRITO. Don't worry it gets better my mother also asked for a sweet pork burrito with MILD sauce (luckily she got the meat with hers because someone else stepped up to the plate) and she also got MEDIUM sauce.
