Haven't you heard of a pressure cooker? Their beans are hard and plain yucky! If you go to Del taco in Salt Lake or other places, their beans are great! You need a giant pressure cooker to cook beans at altitude... Beans do not cook properly without a pressure cooker when you are at altitude... Honestly you can't go wrong with a little Del! I always get the 1/2 lb bean and cheese burrito with red sauce that's a little more than a dolla holla. My momma lives for their fish tacos, and I always get a bite or two! My cousins are obsessed with the pepper jack quesadilla. And lately we've been sharing the chips and quac, which honestly is scrumptious. I wish I loved their sauce packets, but there's just nothing special going on, plus (unlike one of the other fast food taco joints) they don't throw handfuls in so I can save for later. Again, not really mad about it because I don't love their sauces, but if you do, be sure to ask for extra because they don't give enough! The drive thru order system was great, no hiccups there. Time for an admission of truth, I have never been to a Del Taco. It's not that I haven't wanted to go. I just have never been close to a location. I know they have beyond meat that I have wanted to try. I was vacationing in Park City and was so excited to see a Del Taco right down the road from me. I came for lunch my first day here. My only experience with fast food taco chains is Taco Bell so I went in thinking it would be comparative. It is definitely better than Taco Bell. I ordered a fish taco, 8 layer beyond burrito, and the 3 layer nachos with a side of Guac. The fish taco was delicious. Crispy breaded and served in a typical fish taco style. The burrito was a bit boring. I wish I had gotten it toasted if that is an option. It was still good and tasted fresh. Just could have used a sauce of some type to flavor it up. I am mixed on the nachos. For one, they are a much better quality and freshness than Taco Bell. I do love guac, but I don't get it at TB. The queso and guac at Del Taco rivals the fast casual burrito spots. However, they just threw a big blob of toppings in the middle which made it hard to spread to the other chips. Oh man, I MISS del Taco. I used to frequent them when I lived in California, now that I'm back in Fla, I don't get to go to them ever. That being said, on my approach to Del Taco, I got stopped by some cute little creature that looked like a ground hog, but was more likely a ground squirrel, carrying it's pup in it's mouth. I considered it a good omen, so I continued on my way in. Inside the front counter girl was taking care of the dining room and took a few minutes to come to the register. once she did though, she took my order, a Chicken Taco, fries and a drink $5.00. Have never been to a Del Taco and generally avoid fast food. Had a spicy grilled chicken burrito and chips and queso. Added moderate sauce to the burrito which had good flavor - only complaint was that it needed more chicken in it as opposed to primarily rice and beans. In the queso, which was thick, you can taste the green chiles which added a lot of flavor. A good fast food option with my other preferred options of Whataburger and Jersey Mikes. read more

I love this Del Taco so very much. I spend a month or so in Park City every year and, while I've been to all the tourist and local favorites, Del Taco holds a special place in my heart. I plan my errands in kimball junction around picking up Del taco tacos, burritos, fish tacos, etc to go. I'm both glad and happy we don't have one at home. Avoid at all costs. The restrooms were disgusting, they looked like they haven't been cleaned in days. Our food was horrible. I ordered a Del Classic burrito, it had one piece of chicken and way too much lettuce. My kids chili cheese fries were raw. When my wife took them to the counter to be recooked, the staff began making faces and obscene comments in Spanish. However, my wife and I speak fluent Spanish and answered them in Spanish. Park City has several great restaurants. Getting a foodborne illnesses from this place, is not worth ruining your vacation. read more

This place is a great cheap date and serves it's purpose to fill up on a road trip. They had a half pound bean and cheese burrito, so to make it vegan got it w/o cheese. They have some hot sauces and is like a step up from taco bell. Nice warm food for a road trip after you get tired of almond butter and hummus sandwiches. I have ordered the same items here for the past year for delivery. Tonight I ordered the same items and one of them is their large Queso and chips. I received 3 chips in the bag and then and bunch of broken chips. I love that there's a Del Taco near Park City, I love the burritos and the frozen fries are even ok when they salt them right. I prefer to get the del cheese burger instead of McDonald's cuz the double del cheese burger has a sauce that taste better then a big mac... but today I ordered the Double Del cheese burger and a Chipotle Chicken burrito on my way to work... I get half way down the canyon to Wanship on my way to work in Ogden and no burrito. Too late to turn back, I get into the fries, hit n miss but mostly miss with the salt... then I bust out the cheese burger... the patties were flattened to make this nasty dull brown slab of pathetic meat that formed one pattie and little to no sauce on it. We'll see if they give me my money when I come back, I'd ask for a burrito but this is fast food not a restaurant. read more

Very upset. I pull up to drive thru and was second in line. Person in front of me was not served for over 3 minutes. I had to wait over 2 minutes before someone would take my order when I was at the speaker. I ordered immediately, but it took 8 minutes--yes 8!--from the speaker order to get to the window and there were only three cars in front of my. Whole ordeal took about 15 minutes. No one goes to a drive thru and expects to spend the same amount of time as it would have to be served and eat inside the store. If the owner of this franchise is reading this: You need better help.
