Service was great. The restaurant is clean and decorated so cute, especially outside. They have a bunch of planters with pretty flowers that are well taken care of. The bathroom was clean and nice as well. We ordered a combo meal and the mexi birria fries. The fries were my favorite! They were so cheesey and savory! It came with a couple sauces. The red was the perfect amount of spice! The green sauce was a good non spicy sauce option as well. It was topped with fresh onions, cilantro, radishes, sour cream, and lots of cheese! For those of you who wonder what it is, quesabirria is a fusion of tacos, quesadillas, and birria is a form of slowed cooked meat ( beef, lamb, goat). They wet tacos! My daughter dipped her tacos in the consume that came with it; I finished my tacos and then enjoyed the consume as a soup. Clean dining area and service was prompt. The cashier was so kind and helpful as we ordered. (He even gave me a sample of the meat so I could be sure I would like it!) we tried the Quesabirria tacos combo and also the el jefe combo (asado and chorizo tacos with a side of beans.) and a children's quesadilla. We enjoyed all of our food! The salsas had good flavor and heat and all the meat was seasoned, salted, and cooked to perfection! My only hang up was the pricing. So, rarely do second reviews but was in Heber last weekend and decided to go back and try the quesabirria taco and consome combo. It was delicious. First, priced at $11.00 dollars it was a great value. The cheesy taco was stuff with beef birria and cheese, cooked on the griddle and while a bit greasy the taste was phenomenal. The consome is the broth that the beef is cooked in. It had real depth of flavor and was served with some beef bits in it. You also had your choice of two different hot sauces and could add radish slices, white onions and cilantro to the bowl if you wanted. Kind of a whole in the wall place with delicious food. Almost a 5 - wish Yelp has a 4.5. Solid taco place on the edge of downtown Heber. My wife had the El Jefe combo and it was excellent - I will probably get that next time. I ordered the signature quesabirria and it was good but not great - lots of meat but a little bland. Consumme (sp?) was good, though. Combos come with two salsas - the red one was pretty spicy. A little pricier than it should be IMO, but all around good and we will be back for sure. read more
