Overpriced food and not good service. Every time I go to Costa vida I feel like the employees don't care if I'm there or not. And the quality of the food is okay. The servings are small. So don't go here if you're hungry. My family and I never have leftovers. The last time I was in Costa vida I barely got enough queso to fill half of the small cup they give you for a very high price. When I asked if the young lady would please fill the cup up she said it would cost more. Very very disappointed in the pricing and the amount of food they give for what they charge. I don't know if there's a manager in charge or not but someone needs to train the employees to be more friendly to customers and give them the amount of food for what they are charging. read more

Everything goes well when I order from them even when I mess up trying to order something online, they fix it for me and I always get my food just right. I'm so sad that I have to leave this review because this is one of our favorite places to come and eat. But today Jasmine was extremely rude, and was very inconvenienced that we were eating here. Everything we requested it was a "bother" for her to do. I hope for the sake of the business she isn't a manager. Definitely a quantity over quality type of chain. Normally that's perfectly fine with me, however I found a piece of plastic in my salad (see photo)... couldn't really enjoy the meal after that. If my child had gotten the meal instead of me, she could have choked on the plastic. Also, proof that at least one ingredient is coming out of a plastic package. I will say that the tomatillo ranch dressing was pretty good though. read more

I like the fresh tortillas made right as you order and the meat selections. I just wish they had fresh made corn tortillas for the enchiladas. They use flour tortillas for the enchiladas and they are good as long as you eat the right away. They don't save well for later as they get "doughy" like raw dough if they sit in the sauce. The red sauce is delicious and so is the pork green Chile. The sweet pork meat is also delicious. Make it the way you like it, smothered or handheld, with or without rice and beans. Takes time, but when it's your turn, you get all the attention and flavor. read more

Costa Vida, although the name, is not Coastican. It is more Mexican. However, super yummy and refreshing. Did not feel so full and uncomfortable like although chain restaurants make you feel. This place is usually super delicious and on point but they are understaffed and the manager expects one employee the ( Parker ) to run the entire store and that's not how it works but I would like to say hands-down to Parker good job for the great customer service and doing a wonderful job honey all five stars are for you !!! I stopped in there to have lunch with my husband and ordered a baja bowl with veggies. The bowl they made had rice, beans and cheese. They heated it up and asked if I wanted lettuce. This Costa Vida has the best service, friendly staff, and delicious food that never disappoints. I feel like I've become somewhat of a regular here... when in town for business. My last visit was a catering order of a taco bar for 10 people. These folks hustled to get everything put together on time and the food was spectacular. They have great guacamole here, and everyone loves the sweet pork! My personal favorite is the pico... just the right amount of cilantro.. YUM! I love the build your own salad or taco option when I'm here just eating in... whatever your fancy is this place will surely hit the spot! read more

Managerial skills LACK, ESPECIALLY with JASMIN!! Little back story....a couple years ago my husband got food to go and when I got the receipt I noticed they overcharged us (which happened mostly every visit). I ended up calling the restaurant and Jasmin answered, I explained to her that we were overcharged and without her checking she started accusing us of not paying for all of our food! I told her I have both receipts in my hand, what didn't we pay for?? She accused us of not paying for my mothers meal Which we did....we paid a 2nd ticket with cash after my husband paid for ours. I told her I have both receipts showing we paid and yet she continued to accuse me and talk down to me. I ended up calling corporate on her, as that's not ok to accuse someone of stealing! Especially when I had my receipts showing I paid and was overcharged yet again. Bottom line, Jasmin got in trouble by corporate. Now my family and I continued to go to the restaurant weekly, luckily Jasmin was not present on our visits. Fast forward to Dec. 2020, my girls and I went in to get food to go and of course Jasmin was there. She kept giving me dirty looks (great managerial skills there). I ended up telling my 2 daughters to just finish up the order and pay as I was going to just sit in the car because I didn't want to deal with her. My girls finally come out and informed me that when I left, Jasmin started bad mouthing me to the employees and right in front of my girls. I ended up going in and asked to speak with the manager and Tarin came out. Explained what happened and he didn't care.... he said what is he supposed to do when I got her fired??? Ummm, then why is she still working in the restaurant! He sided with her (again great managerial skills to listen to just one side of the story)! I told him no problem I would never step foot in their restaurant again for the lousy unprofessional service we always get! I wanted to call corporate again but I decided to take the high road and not call since my kids still liked the place. Now my kids have visited the restaurant probably 15+ times since that incident, Jasmin has seen them there and has never said anything to them. Come yesterday 5/24/2021 my girls stop in for lunch and end up informing me that Jasmin walked over to their table they were sitting at and told my girls that they were not welcome there and banned them due to association with me and to never come back to the restaurant. Seriously Jasmin you feel all high and mighty, embarrassing 16 year old girls in your busy restaurant to tell them they can't be there because you have an issue with me!! Making them leave in the middle of their meal....This shows and proves the lack of experience you have in management! You're a pathetic, sad excuse for a manager!!!! read more

I came in search of carne asada street tacos, and found them. That's the end of the good news. The tacos were typical street tacos, (steak, onions & cilantro) but on a heavier corn tortilla. Get ready for sticker shock, the price with tax was $16.12. When I asked the cashier if this was correct, she said yes because they were steak. ( Master of the obvious) Needless to say I won't be back, not do I recommend this place, as the quality did not off-set the cost. Value was poor. read more

Showed up an hour and a half before closing and was told they were out of rice... the staple of a Mexican dish. After asking how long it would take to get more, we were told 45 min. (2 employees sat in the dining area while a line formed) After settling for tacos, we paid $21 for a total of 4 tacos and we split a drink. The tacos were delicious, but left us both hungry for more food. We should have walked across the street cafe Rio for some rice and most likely payed the same price and Walked away with leftovers. read more

When we attended for dinner with friends, the restaurant was very clean and the food was good. We enjoyed the fresh Mexi melt meal. We do suggest not getting the loaded nachos with the Queso on the chips because it causes them to get soggy very quickly. The rest of the meals including the daily specials are very good. read more

Yummy, affordable, and clean sit-down fast food. Not a typical restaurant with servers and tipping but a nice alternative to something more than drive through burger joints. There are several "alternative burrito" places around town but this is one of the best. Good tortillas, good enchiladas, good quesadillas, tacos, and even salads. A variety of meats to choose from. Some flavors are sweet and some spicy. The service is friendly and the restaurant clean. It always tastes healthy too...not sure if it all is but I'll pretend it is! I had the salad with corn tortillas, beans, rice, peppers, lettuce and dressing. It was the vegetarian meal. Tasted good BUT I ate here thinking that I was getting healthy food and ever since I have felt groggy & heavy headed and tired. I will never again eat here because they're obviously using an additive or preservative to make me feel this bad. "Healthy" food, that's a joke! Was in the mood for something different in Grand Junction on my last trip out there from Denver. Thought I'd give Costa Vida a chance and it turns out it was a good decision. HORRIBLE "fresh" food! I got queso and chips, and tortilla soup. The queso was extremely salty, and the chips were soggy AND stale. The soup was so cold it didn't even melt the cheese... so I had to microwave it. The employees were helpful, but the food was disgusting. What a waste. read more

Here's how it goes. Choose your entrée burrito, enchilada, nachos, or taco. Choose your tortilla wheat or flour. Choose your beans, black, refried, or pinto. choose your protein chicken, pork, or beef. They have a lot of add on stuff that cost money. As an example guacamole, sour cream, and pico. It's pretty good. It's fast. The decor is dumb for CO but that can be forgiven. The pork burrito is awesome (get it smothered) The nachos are awesome ( add the queso). The staff is extremely friendly which is typical of any Chick Fil A! They keep the store very clean and have a nice play area for kids.

I really enjoy this place. It's pretty unorganized on the line - nearly every time I visit, something's out of stock or still being made - but the workers are always super friendly regardless, and the food's been consistently tasty and fresh. (My personal recommendation is the sweet pork salad on a honey whole wheat tortilla.) Worth going across the street to eat here instead of the food court if you're at the mall. read more

I like the atmosphere and the food was pretty good. I placed a large take out order online. When I arrived it wasn't ready yet but that was no problem. They were busy and it seemed like the employees were all trying to work as quickly as possible. I think that is where what little problems I had came from.
