It won't be exaggerating if i call this place an hidden treasure on Marco island as you find it bit difficult to locate the restaurant but trust me its there..:) They have an extensive list on their menu to choose from. This place is easy to miss as it's in a strip mall with a very non descript sign. I drove past it a couple of times looking for it. It's a small place but has simple modern decor. Think Ikea. I liked the music they were playing and the photos on the walls. Our server was very nice, but a little put off by my crazy elderly parents which resulted in a mistake in placing our appetizer order that was corrected with a smile. We are Whitey Mcwhitey types so we ordered everything VERY MILD and that is exactly what we got. We had the Charro (shrimp ceviche) and fried calamari as appetizers. Both were exceptional and fantastic. The flavor throughout the ceviche was SPOT ON delicious and it was a nice size portion with good chunks of avocado. The fried calamari was delicious with huge rings of tender calamari fried in fresh fat with a light flavorful breading. It was served with a couple pieces of potato and some thinly sliced red onions, and a delicious sauce with fresh lime on the side. Fantastic! Every bite was heaven. I KNEW our entrees were going to be good after this, and indeed they were. Aji gallina (pulled chicken in yellow sauce with boiled potato) an inexpensive entree elevated to new heights with the delectable Peruvian "bechamel" rice and boiled potato. Incredibly good. My mother had the Lomotuco (sp?), grilled beef, vegetables served with a rice and bean side. Absolutely fantastic grill flavor and spicing. The rice and bean mold was absolutely delicious. My father had pescado churrealana (sp?) which was a fried grouper with veggies and a light sauce... eye rolling wonderful. We used a restaurant.com discount and their already reasonable prices became a real bargain. They do include a 15% gratuity so be aware of that when the bill comes. I can't wait to go back. I looked everywhere and their menu is not posted online... not for real... there is a weird synopsis of featured items. So if you're wondering, they have a great menu for every palate. Clearly the chef is exceptional and hits the perfect flavor notes on every single dish. It's no wonder people say, "Best restaurant in Naples"... I like that the prices are reasonable enough that everyone can sample fantastically prepared Peruvian food, and even my insane elderly parents ate every single bite and loved it. As a gay man, I want them to get rid of the plastic ferns in the glass cylinders on the tables. Please. Even the most home-style Thai restaurants use fresh flowers of some kind. Even a single flower in a bud vase would be better. The food is so uplifting and good the decor should reach a bit higher to match. read more

Nothing of what I expected - quaint and comfy as soon as you walk in. The plants inside and outside make you feel at home just as the servers do. The food was DELICIOUS! One dinner plate can very well serve for two so o ended up taking some home. Everything I had was delicious - ate it so fast I didn't even take a picture to post! read more

Costa Verde is a blessing on earth! From the moment you walk in you are welcomed by the chef, Lucia. Although Lucia is a chef versed in cuisine of all cultures, her specialty is Peruvian cuisine. I don't understand the great reviews for this place. We had high expectations because Yelp ratings were very good. The place is in a strip mall near Goodwill and the place itself had about 8 tables. Nothing fancy at all - was loud with only 2 other tables occupied. We decided on ordering a few appetizers and split them. The food was good but the service was poor. My mother spilled her glass of wine; we explained to the waitress what happened but instead of coming over to help clean it up, she handed us a stack of paper towels and didn't offer my mother another glass of wine (I guess she was cut off!). *Finally* got her attention and my mother got her wine :-) We ordered Cerviche; causa pollo (mashed potatoes & ahi filling) and causa atun (mashed potatoes and yellow ahi filling with tuna). As I mentioned, the food was tasty but we ordered the ceviche spicy, but it certainly was not - so when we asked the waitress for hot sauce, she said they didn't have any, only the green sauce that comes with the corn kernels. OK. After the appys, we decided to order the Aji de Gallina - shredded chicken cooked in a creamy yellow pepper sauce. Again we asked for it spicy but again, we didn't get it that way. I'm not sure how warm the dish was supposed to be but it wasn't hot. The waitress never came back to fill out water glasses and we had to flag her down when we wanted to order the ahi de gallina dish and the check. I never left a restaurant thirsty before so that was a first - and she only had one other table besides us so I don't get it. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Server Jorgie brought me the wrong meal, I asked him if that was what I ordered when he brought it and he said yes, no option to take back or change. I took a few bites of it, did not like it, so he comes back 15 min later (there were only two occupied tables in the whole restaurant) and says I'm the one who ordered the wrong item and it is not in fact what I had ordered. Instead of replacing it, he let me not have a meal, and gave no apology and deducted only $5 from an already over priced item. Absolutely ridiculous. The kicker? He took the liberty of including 15% gratuity on a bill for a party of two. Disappointed to say we've been there several times before without issues, food is always good, but service was so bad tonight we will not be returning for more. read more

Food was wonderful. It is made to order so don't expect to be in and out quickly but that's understandable. What isn't understandable is that they are the only restaurant in the world that adds a 15 percent tip automatically even if you are dining alone. I might even have left a larger tip than 15% but they should stop this practice. It is very off putting. It's the last encounter you have with the restaurant and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth read more

I was with a friend and we just happened upon this place while looking for another restaurant. This was my first visit to Costa Verde and my first taste of Peruvian food. Wow, I loved it. I had the Chicken in Yellow Sauce and it was delicious. The place is adorable, and the staff is great. The chef even came out to speak with us about her menu. This is a hidden gem in the Golden Gate area, and I can't wait to go back and try more unique, delicious Peruvian dishes. read more

DELICIOUS!! My friend and I have visited this restaurant twice in one week. I had the Lomo salteado, which was cooked to perfection, meat was soft and juicy, sauce was excellent. My friend had the fish salteado which was incredible. We also had fried calamary and for dessert we had the peruvian donuts. I love, love love this restaurant. Next time it will be Ceviche time for me. If you are looking for authentic, great tasting, peruvian food, check out this restaurant, it won't disappoint!! read more

Best EVER ceviche. We love this restaurant and it is the first place we go when we return to Naples .

My wife and I dined there last Saturday evening and the food was exceedingly tasty. We had been there once before several weeks ago and remembered how good it was. We went early so it was not as crowded as it can get later on in the evening. My wife had the seafood with rice and loved the fish and mussels, shrimp and calamari. I had the Beef with tomatoes and onions and rice with cilantro and of course a big glass of Chicha Morada - We loved every bite of it. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. This is a small nice and clean Peruvian's restaurant with reasonable prices. The food is fresh and taste really good. The ceviche and Jalea Mixta, excellent seafood for lunch, were absolutely delicious, and more than enough for two adults. Finding Cusqueña beer in this place was also an amazing experience. The staff was helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place. read more
