I ran in here on a whim to get a hair cut. My usual lady was off at another place and I was just in a mood for a change. It was a weekday and they weren't busy so I was able to get in quickly. I saw Tuilan, who was just as sweet as she was a beauty I didn't know exactly what I wanted but we ran through some photo and then she made recommendations based on my current hair length and desire. I did a shampoo and cut and she did it all with layer in under an hour and it was so cute! I have had so many complements on the style ! I really enjoyed my visit and look forward to coming again to Tuilan. She was so friendly and patient and did a wonderful job! read more

I have been here for 36 minutes. Did not get greeted. Two walk ins have been taken in front of me. At one point it was only myself and a child waiting for cut. All stylists took a break at the same time 15 minutes ago. One came back and decided to take another walk in before me. Guess it makes sense for the low rating here. Guess I'll be waiting to get a cut somewhere else. Shame for them, since I tip generously regardless of level of service. i made an appt via the link on google. It took me to a screen giving me options to what i was wanting with prices. I chose the shampoo, cut, and style for $30.75. I showed up for my time and the lady asked me what i wanted, i told her what i booked for, and she took me to wash my hair. She did the cut and blowdry with a round brush, basic cut and dry nothing extravagant. i go to pay and she tells me the price is $59. i was a little taken back because of what i saw online when i booked. So i told her and she said no im wrong. i asked again why is it double the price from online, and she then turned to the lady next to her cutting hair who was the manager, Toui. As soon as she turned to me she immediately said no the price is $59 because you got a round brush blow dry. I explained again what i saw online and she kept telling me im wrong but i guess this time i can give you 20% off but wont happen again. i said well no im not looking for a discount i just dont understand why the huge price difference from online. i pulled out my phone to show exactly what i saw and she rolled her eyes at me and said ive been a manager here for years the prices are online so thats wrong the whole time rolling her eyes with a tone saying she didnt want to hear me anymore. She looked at the stylist and said just give her the 20% rolled her eyes at me and went back to cutting hair. i was just standing there shocked. Not only that when i got home i noticed my hair is longer on one side but im too embarrassed and shocked to even go back there. read more

I was a walk-in a couple of weeks ago for a shampoo, cut and style. The lady seemed irritated that I did not have an appointment, even though she and I were the only ones there that morning. She finished dusting and putting back her products. I asked for several layers, bangs, and hair cut to touch my shoulders. She cut my hair the way she wanted--one layer, a few bangs that aren't straight and short hair. She mentioned several times how ugly my hair looked. I mean it has been Covid and my hubby has been trimming my hair (he did a better job than she did). She also kept saying how thin it is. My hair has been thick until a couple of years ago and is not that thin. For all the insults and horrible hair cut, I was charged $59. My friends and relatives say I should have just walked out in the beginning. I wish I had. I will never go there again. read more

The manager at this location is a bully. I took my sons here for the millionth time to get their hair cut. We like one woman who's very down to earth and nice. The manager, who I'd never seen before this encounter is the reason I'm giving them such a poor review. We were told we would have to wait (which is fine-we we're walk ins) so I took my kids over to Wendy's for frosties. As you know, cold ice cream can make you cough. Well as my 2 yr old ate his ice cream he started coughing. She freaked out and told us we had to mask him. I will absolutely never mask my 2 year old. I explained he's not sick, just eating ice cream. He's checked every day to get into school and has the immune system of a horse. The woman we usually work with looked on us with sympathy because she's not a paranoid sociopath. needless to say, we left and I will only return when that beastly manager is gone. Obviously she's got some other bad reviews and I'm sure this place will continue to see low ratings until she is gone. I took my boys to Master Barber on Karbach St and payed less for a more enjoyable experience. read more

This establishment is a shambles and should be shut . My father went in earlier today for a haircut, the lady was rude, didn't ask my father what kind of cut he wanted. He's always gotten scissor cuts, and the lady said what number repeatedly, didn't know what a trim or a scissor cut was, and proceeded to nearly chop his hair off and almost cut the back of his neck. Then when he got home, my mother called to complain and the lady that did his hair answered and chewed my mother out because he didn't know what number he wanted. I have been going to this location for many years. It used to be TGF but changed ownership and name. Same great stylists though. I love Rasema. I made a big change and many people have told me that they just can't get over how good I look. Additionally, I brought my teen daughter and she knew she wanted short and Rasema talked to her and got a feel for what she wanted. My daughter said she had trouble staying still because as she saw the cut coming together she "vibrated" because she was so happy. It was trendy, bold and exactly what she wanted. I wanted a very simple haircut, gave the stylist explicit directions but she decided to do what she liked and now I look like a teenage boy just going into the military. Leave the top longer I said, just a few layers to get it out of my eyes. Now my hair is maybe an inch long all over my head and my bangs are almost up to my hairline. I went here because of the good reviews and the reasonable prices. I went inside and was immediately greeted and helped (which was great because I hate waiting). I showed the hair stylist a picture of what I wanted and she began cutting. Before this, I hadn't cut my hair for five years. So this was a big deal. My hair was down to my waist and I was having it cut to a length just below my shoulders. Everything was fine until she began added "layers" into my hair. I put "layers" in quotations because it's not what they ended up looking like. My hair is literally two different lengths and it's very evident. I look like I belong in the 90's because my hair is literally a bowl cut with a mullet. It's horrible and I hate even walking outside the house. I'm very unhappy with my haircut and it will take MONTHS for it to grow out enough for me to re-cut it. It's THAT short. I do not recommend this place. Trust me, you're better off paying $50+ at another place if it means getting the haircut you want. I tried going back to get it fixed and even the manager (who was a sweet lady) said she couldn't help me because it was so bad. read more

I was having a bad hair day & didn't want to suffer another day to go to my usual stylists Hali or Denise at different salons. I came in here & wanted to faze my heavy blonde highlights to a strawberry blonde & came out with a deeper red but I like it. I paid $50 for an all over color. She did not fully blow dry my hair which is why I took off stars because the best part of getting your hair colored is when the dry it & fix it. I also had to ask for product to be out in my hair too. That's annoying considering as much as I color my hair it has to have product to be put in it! I did not let her cut my hair because I will only let my usuals stylist do that since it is in short stacked bob & not everyone can cut it well. I just wasn't willing to let someone new touch my cut even though it does need a trim. Overall it was an ok experience. They were understanding of me having my son with me & didn't mind when he got out of the chair to dance to the music playing. It took about an hour for my color to be applied & set. Zero excuse for my hair being partially dried considering the salon was dead! read more

She said, " I know it says 9am, but we didn't think anyone would be here this early. She'll be back in 10 mins (it's been 20)". People are parked outside waiting. We came here specifically because they open early. 9:25 and we aren't waiting any longer. FoR WOMEN: These people seriously need to take hair cut and blow dry classes! I don't recommend this place at all. I had a terrible experience here today and If I coud give them "Zero Stars "I would! The guy didn't know how to cut straight and was blowing the hair from botton to top..when It usually has to be the other way around since my hair is curly.! I came home and had to blow dry it myself as I usually do because he didn't do a good job. The other bad thing was, it took him 55mins to do this when it usually takes 25 and I was the ONLY customer in the place. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY LIKE I DID. read more
