Pretty good thin crust pizza. We ordered 2 times in a week so must have been pretty good. Quick pick up time too

Highly disappointed customer service. We come to the OBX every year and usually take one night out of the week to order out. We travel with 21 and to feed a family that size and to all agree on one place it's a challenge. We chose cosmos for pizza and wings. We ordered 6 pizzas and 2 orders of 36 wings for around $200. When we got there, we were told that everything is ready and took our food and left. When we got home, we had come to realize that they only gave us one order of 36 wings. We went back to the restaurant and told them the situation, and they agreed to make us another order. When that order was "ready" we looked in the box and they had only made us 22 wings. Two times to screw up a simple order is a little excessive, especially if the fault was on them the first time, you would think doing everything right the second time would be top priority. Other than that the food was good. Just lacking the service to match the quality of food. read more

Where do I even begin with the bull shit that this so called customer service oriented establishment pulled last night. So my party of 12 walks in and could be seated immediately with the open tables that were there but instead were told that there was a 20-30 minute wait. After waiting that 30 mins another couple tables opened up and still nothing from them about being seated except that those tables are not for a party of 12. Now mind you that within this time period not another customer walked into this establishment and was looking to be seated at any of these open tables but we still were denied seating. So after an HOUR WAIT and nothing we decide to walk and then those tables, that have been open this entire time are now suitable for our party to sit down. So I guess that's how a fine establishment like this operates, wait until you threaten to leave then tables become available. So we did what anybody else would do and should of done after waiting the HOUR already and told them to take a hike. Save your money and go to any other joint in corolla. That entire shopping center sucks over there anyway. Go to timbuk and enjoy all the shops and pleasant people who work in those shops. The food establishments and bars are amazing. Great burger joint if u need a change from all the seafood. Really just avoid this pizza place at all costs. They will never get any of my money, tried to give them a lot with a party of 12 but guess it just wasn't good enough for them. Trust me when I say that I am being polite in my comments about this shithole. So many better places to find great food in corolla. Since I have to give a rating it gets one star but this is where they definitely should allow a ZERO to be put. read more

Was ok pizza nothing to write home about and the breadsticks had nothing to them. The pizza was ok and greesy I do like greeesy pizza but the sauce was only ok at best and did not reheat very well. The chicken parm sub was not good even the second day but there is a lot of food and filled us up which is all I expected. read more

When in Corolla, most folks like to eat seafood, but when you want some pizza (which happens at least once a week for me) the ONLY place to go is Cosmo's. Take it from me - a NY'er who is pretty picky about pizza. Don't even bother going to any of the others. I've tried them all. read more

Was told order would be ready in an hour and fifteen minutes. Showed up in an hour and ten to pick up order . Waited an additional 30 minutes. Was told that it was a busy night. You would think that the staff would realize by now that a Saturday night in the summer would be busy. There was no sense of urgency. Toppings on pizzas were a joke. Two slices of pepperoni per slice. Bottom of the pizzas were raw . Six pizzas 115 dollars. Next year will try the new pizza shop next to food lion. read more

As we waited an unbelievably long time the staff displayed a nonchalant attitude while working at their leisure to make our pizza... We approached the manager who was EXCELENT and very professional immediately offering us a discount which of course we did not take however we apreciated the gesture.. Pizza was good however if you are looking for a speedy slice this is not your place. read more

Pizza was very good! We had a crew of 17 and ordered 6 larges and 72 wings for take-out. Got home and only received 36 wings. Went back, had to wait 45 more minutes to get the 36 wings owed to us. Checked the order before we left and only 20 wings were in the box? Everyone makes mistakes, I understand. But something needs to change in the kitchen! read more

I would have given a much higher review but the service was not good at all. Went there on a weeknight with my boyfriend while vacationing in Corolla. This is my family's 5th year here, first time at Cosmo's. We were passed 3 times by staff before being acknowledged while standing next to the "please wait to be seated" sign. We were told from a guy at the bar to sit wherever which was fine. Another guy walked by and said he would get us menus but did we know what we wanted. I ordered the rum punch I saw on the wall behind the bar being advertised. Boyfriend stuck with water. While our waiter went to get us menus, a woman walked up with menus to help us when our waiter butted in and rudely told her that he was taking care of us. It was very uncomfortable. After looking over the menu we decided on an order of wings (12!) and a small pepperoni pizza. When I started ordering with the small pizza, he interrupted and told me that it "wouldn't be enough food, it's such a small pizza". I then continued with my order saying we'd also be getting wings and splitting them, he kind of argued with me about the small pizza but I feel like he eventually gave up. I've never had to defend an order at a restaurant. If I'm still hungry, we can always order more. Food came, and the wings were great. I highly recommend the tangy Thai. We were so relieved to find excellent pizza in Corolla. The side salad could feed 2 and I loved their Italian dressing - spicy and not too sweet. The moonshine blueberry lemonade is dangerously good - they go down very easily. Hot wings were the perfect amount of heat and nice and crispy. We ordered the pepperoni pizza - great sauce, nice chewy high gluten crust. Cannoli is made to order and addictive. If we lived nearby we would be 400 pounds. Went here for the first time about two weeks ago for lunch. We got a plain cheese pizza and wings. Pizza was good. Wings we asked for well done with sauce and blue cheese on the side and they came out perfect. They were really good! Waitress was attentive and friendly. Would go back. read more

Just got back from a week in Corolla. Ordered from Cosmos twice. First time we were told an hour for pick-up. Took and hour and forty five minutes. Second time I order a variety of items, including a small cheese pizza. I was told the small is like a personal pizza and four only $4 more I would get twice the amount. I told him no thanks, we only need a small. Ended up with a large and was charged for a large. Frustrating having to fend off the upsell pitch, telling given the guy twice that I wanted a small, and still ending up with a large. My mother in law went to pick it up so was too late. Anyway, food was okay - not spectacular - but beware of the "screw the vacationer" tactics. read more

First thing- it's $$ rather than $. The pizza we ordered was large pizza with chicken and green pepper. They charge extra for each topping, but give only 2-3 small pieces of chicken in each slice. It felt like they were doing us a favor by adding some toppings. Not sure how they got higher ratings from other reviewers, may be toppings won't have mattered if we had ordered some drinks ;) read more

If there was an option for zero stars that would be it! Coming from NYC I don't expect much of pizza from anywhere, but this was absolute garbage. It tasted like someone opened a can of very overly seasoned sauce, with seasonings that I have NEVER tasted in pizza. Don't be fooled with the advertising of NYC pizza. On a more important note...the staff is very incompetent and extremely slow. People in our party have severe peanut and tree nut allergies and the "head" person assured me that the items were safe for consumption. When my husband picked up our $100 plus order he asked one more time to reconfirm the allergens and the same "head" guy said well the mozzarella sticks may contain tree nuts and he went on to say he really wasn't sure about the allergens but no one ever got sick there so that should be enough to make us feel better. With that being said we paid for the $100 + order and went and bought frozen pizza for the 4 people who were severely allergic. It was an absolute ridiculous place. Oh and let's not forget if you want pizza between 4 and 8 pm you need to order it between 11am and noon or they can't fit you in....they don't tell you that.....stupid!!! I'm giving three stars and that is generous after our experience tonight. We have been to Cosmos many times over the last fifteen or so years and have always LOVED the pizza. And once again, the pizza was delicious. My negative comments relate to the service and the turkey sub that my daughter ordered. The service was awful. We got there around 7:45 ( Wednesday night) so it was busy, but we got seated right away. It took forever for our beers to come out and the waitress forgot what drinks my kids ordered so I had to tell her. She literally brought out my son's meatball sub fifteen minutes before the turkey sub and pizza that we ordered. The turkey sub came out five minutes before the pizza and had exactly one piece of turkey on each bun. No exaggeration. I'm talking like deli lunch slices and lettuce. That's all she ordered. The sub was $10.69 which came with chips. We had to pay $2 extra for fries. Really? I could have bought two pounds of deli lunchmeat for $10. That was completely insane. Our pizza was $21 and that was for two adults and we had two slices left over. I don't mind paying $12 for a meal if it's more than two pieces of bread. The waitress brought our check and then disappeared. We had to wait another ten minutes until another waitress saw us waiting and took care of our check. And lastly, they did not offer me a children's menu when we came in so I just assumed they didn't have a separate menu until we had gotten our food and I saw someone else get handed a children's menu. I had made my kids order off the regular menu. While leftovers are great sometimes, when you are on vacation it's not always convenient, not to mention that my son eats like a bird so I would have preferred to order from a kids menu. Not sure we will be going back anytime soon. Was very disappointed by the non-caring attitude and lack of meat on her sub. They really need to step it up a notch with the subs and service. Good service and the subs were ok. I had the Italian sub. If you go on the Hummer horse tours they will tell you that this place is the best in town. Truth is while we were eating, we saw one of the operators of the tour company going into the offices and the food wasn't anything to brag about. read more

Cool little pizza bar/restaurant located right next to Corolla light. Was seated immediately upon arrival. Menu had other options besides pizza but we decided on pizza and wings for the entire family. I thought the wings were excellent, got Thai flavor. The kids loved the pepperoni pizza, came out pretty fast. Service was above par. Waitress was pretty friendly. Bottled sodas always a plus. Will come again on next vacation. read more
