    Lamb Chops!
    John V.

Great food, great service, easy to get to. I ate the lamb chops, it was cooked perfect, lots of good choices for drinks!

Cosmos Cuccino, the restaurant, is upstairs.
O'Duffy's the pub, is street level.

Been the best neighborhood bar in my world for maybe 20 years, and I don't even live in Kalamazoo anymore. Bar itself is a work of art; dark wood, huge and real. This is not some tricked up franchise, designed to make you feel like you're really into something authentic. Only place in Michigan I've found that can properly pour a pint of Guinness. Food is excellent, and the menu not your standard bar fare. Jamie, the proprietor is on the premises, friendly and keeps things running smoothly. Just go!

O'Duffy's really is the quintessential neighborhood pub and the food is phenomenal. All dishes are hot created equal here but if you make savvy selections you'd be hard pressed to find a finer meal in the area. My husband thought his red pepper pasta dish was me, and our friends teenage son was full on Gordon Ramsay dissing the nachos that his dad ordered, but I hit the jackpot with my crab cake appetizer and warm whipped goat cheese with berry, compote and sugared dehydrated berries, served with a generous loaf of warm bread. I'm pretty sure I have tried every incarnation of brie and goat cheese appetizers in the greater Kalamazoo area and this one reigns supreme and among the most perfect dishes I've ever enjoyed. We love seeing our friend's band perform here and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. It's worth noting that they have turned the parking lot into an additional seating area, so parking can be a pickle and there isn't much in the way of options for accessible parking nearby (which seems to be the case and much of downtown Kalamazoo and the nearby neighborhoods).

Quaint spot, COVID compliant with delicious menu in a historical building. Need an appetitive? Walk downstairs to O'Duffy, their pub.

    Beautiful patio upstairs.

This was a fabulous food find on yelp. We loved dining on the patio on a lovely weekend day! The service was fantastic. The owner came and spoke with us sharing that they have been in business for 30 years. The waitstaff was very attentive and adhered to new cleanliness standards during this Covid crisis. I had crab cake Benedict and it was fantastic! It was paired with crispy potatoes and fresh cherries and watermelon. My mom had the breakfast special for a great value. Eggs can be ordered any way, tasty ciabatta bread, and perfectly seasoned potatoes. We will definitely be back~high recommend. It's just down from Bronson hospital. Please support this local business!!

Food is good, but upstairs only open for Sunday brunch so dinner is always in bar. Noisy bar.

The servers got…read morereally busy right after we got here, but both of them worked really hard to keep an eye on their tables. They offered bread service with herb olive oil, which was lovely. The house salad was generous with the feta cheese and croutons, and the balsamic dressing was nice and tart. My wife had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. The pasta tasted almost homemade and the Alfredo sauce tasted like a real house made Alfredo, not something from a jar. I had the Chicken Parmigiana and asked if I could have vodka sauce on the spaghetti, just because it's one of my favorite sauces. They were happy to oblige, and it was truly delicious. Our daughter was happy with her penne noodles with butter and cheese... Lol. Hopefully at some point, she orders more than that! We will definitely be back next time we are in Kalamazoo.

We were seated at a table in a corner behind two large, round tables full of customers. Our server had a difficult time getting to us, which made it seem that he gave us the least amount of attention required. Our dinner took almost 2 hours with large amount of time between seating, drinks, appetizers, meals and checks. The appetizers were great! However, the shrimp scampi was a big disapointment. It seemed that the linguine wasnt drained well, so it was just a watery mess with no hint of flavor, especially garlic. The server never came by to see if the entrees were acceptable. I felt like I should eat it anyway because it would take forever to get a replacement. No offers of grated cheese to top the pasta, so it remained dry sitting in the water sauce. My daughter in law said the chicken marmalade was very good as was my son's beef short ribs. Sigh!

The chicken was old. It was dry and it tasted like dirty refrigerator. Server was pleasant enough and we wanted to make sure she knew we knew it wasn't her fault cuz some people are just jerks like that. We were turned off from the sandwich and didn't want it remade so we ordered some spinach dip. It came out so fast!! And it was. Seriously we both just cringed. The artichoke hearts weren't probably cleaned so the tough spiky bits were in the dip. But the worst part was the chips served with it. They were clearly reheated and the smell of dirty/rancid oil hit my nose before my tongue. We moved the dip around the plate to look like we ate some. Grabbed the check and ran!! Could we have talked to manager? Sure. But 2 meals out of 2 were bust we didn't want to deal with it. And given we'd sent our fist meal back we figured if a manager was interested in our experience they would have come out right away. There's so many great options in the area we don't need to go back. Hope your experience is better than ours!!

Jasmine is our go-to bartender, makes great drinks and generally makes every visit a pleasure. Last time we were there we had the salmon and the salad... all of it was fall themed so I sure it's changed now, but go give it a try! They are under the same ownership as Bold and Holy Taco so you can imagine the vibe... I'd say slightly higher end than holy taco and compared to bold definitely more laid back but still nice.

I had the spicy Italian sausage tortellini's in a very good tomatoey vodka sauce. From my POV that was the best dish at the table.
