I only visit Michigan twice a year and all my friends and family know that I have to stop here. I had a near panic attack when I arrived to Michigan one time to find that the Westnedge location closed, but then I remembered this one. It's a comfort food to me. It's not the best Italian food but it's pretty good fast italian food. I usually get the sampler and the breadsticks are amazing. The service is usually really good too. Although the drive thru can take some time. As long as this place is still around, I'll keep coming. read more

I ordered loaded spaghetti what was delivered to the table had no mushrooms,sausage or meat balls. Wife ordered chicken Alfredo her chicken was over cooked. This is your average Fazolis, but we don't have them yet on my side of the state, so my friend and boyfriend and I stopped here for a quick lunch this past Friday. She had never been, I used to go to one of the locations with my parents as a kid and more recently, I've been to the Sandusky location. I had the chicken with a creamy pesto sauce which was good, it's actually quite a lot of food. Unfortunately I didn't notice until later that the restaurant offers a $5 lunch combo, for two lunches, a soda, and an Italian ice, our bill was about $20. The lunch combos are a little bit smaller than the regular meals, I believe, but my friend got a salad and pasta, and was full. I wish their bathroom was not so cold - you have to go through the first set of indoor doors to get to it, so that's probably why. Other than that, the food was tasty per usual. read more

Great experience. I ordered the lasagna and I dined in. The food was hot and very delicious. The front counter staff was very kind and courteous. The manager, Joe, brought me fresh breadsticks and I kept eating them. He was professional and friends to everyone in the dining room as well as kept it nice and clean. All the staff seemed friendly. I mean it's nothing special... it's like the McDonald's of italian food, just more expensive. I didn't like how garlicky the fettuccine alfredo was, and it was a little cold but that was probably because I got it from GrubHub. My husband has been craving fazoli's for quite some time now and we just never had time to go to that side of the town. However, I got bogo-ish coupon in my email today from the sign up and thought why not? I had chicken carbonara subbed to penne with extra sauce (7.49+ .50 ) and my husband got build your own pasta of fettuccine alfredo ( 6.99: ended up being zero charge). Boy, The portion was huge. My chicken carbonara was definitely extra sauce and it was GOOOOOOOOOOD. Pretty amount of well done chicken with bacon as well. Can't beat the price for two meals and the best part was the unlimited breadsticks. The customer service was great too. Tip: Sign up for the email list and wait for the BOGO-ish coupon. Ordered take-out from here, the chicken broccoli penne, and it was just what I was craving; some heavy, cheesy, probably-not-super-healthy pasta. Definitely not what you would consider refined Italian food, but that's not what I needed at the time LOL. The portion was large too, and I was VERY hungry and I still didn't finish. Fazoli's - Italian Near Me - Kalamazoo, Michigan

I used to get a double cheese slice of pizza at the Fazoli's on Westnedge about 20 years ago - yes, they've been around that long & so have I - and it was quite good for a quick lunch. Decided to try same several days ago from the West Main location and found that the pizza was very different from what I used to get. The crust was not completely baked so there was a gooey layer between the bottom of the crust and the topping and the crust was thicker than it used to be. The topping was completely devoid of flavor and didn't remotely resemble a pizza flavor. I guess that's what you call "progress". read more

Order was wrong asked for light sause and there was so much it was comming out of the cover, also asked to breaded chicken that was not correct either. Well what can I say but horrible we went through the drive thru at 9pm and couldn't see anything why because the lights needed to be replaced and the owner has failed to do so so you can't see anything on the menu ..The gentleman at the window said drive around I'll give you a menu and placed my order customer service is amazing so friendly but when it took awhile to get the food I asked why it was taking so long they said only 1 of the ovens is working and the owner won't fix it this isn't days it's months... How can you expect people to effectively give customer service when you give them crap to work with that owner needs to be sighted for negligence of his business read more

Anthony and Bryce worked with me to cater my daughter's wedding this past weekend. They were absolutely amazing!!! The food was great. The price was great. And they went way above and beyond in helping with set-up, serving, etc... on the day of the wedding. They also met with us at the venue ahead of time and just made the whole thing stress-free. I can't say enough great things about the staff and food. Let me stress - the price is phenomenal for what you get!!! They don't even charge extra for the waitstaff! Fazolis is a great place if you're looking for fast, casual Italian. Sure it's fast food but it's tasty and very reasonably priced. My encounter with Angela was very pleasant and I enjoyed my lunch. Fazolis is not a five star gourmet restaurant so I you're looking for that, you are in the wrong place. I went here with a friend of mine and didn't much care for it. All the foods were totally greasy, and the spaghetti I ended up getting was covered in butter. It's nice that you can bring your laptop if you want, but the food isn't very good and the atmosphere is very family oriented, so plenty of kids. You definitely can't do any work there. read more

The food was excellent. However, the only one working was the shift manager, Brice. 2 of the girls, 1 working there driver-thru and God only knows what the other girl was doing. They were bad mouthing the drive-thru customers. One girl, standing around, roller her eyes when I walked up to get a to-go box, then she turned around as if to ignore me and just stood there, like she's been since we entered the building. when I went up to check on the rest of our order that was sitting in the window for 7 minutes, again she rolled her eyes and said they'll be with us as soon as possible. When she brought the rest of our food out approximately 11 minutes after we received part of the order, she acted like she was being put out for delivering the food to us. you lucky you guys have Bryce at that Kalamazoo store or nobody would come in there. The food was really good typical Fazoli's food. The service was amazing, really nice after being on the road 7 plus hours during holiday traffic. They could have turned us away as they were getting ready to have their holiday party but they served us and did so with wonderful attitudes so much so we didn't even know that they were closing early till we were leaving and saw a sign they posted after we came in. The staff is friendly, courteous. Love the food and the under 500 calorie choices. Eat lunch here at least once a week.
