Ok if you are interested in a unique to the area experience give Gusto a try. It does come at a price beyond cost. The menu is limited and apparently changes regularly with limited options. However everyone in our party seemed to really enjoy their meals. Personally I didn't care for not having a menu to look at and that I was expected to know what was available based upon their Instagram site. Not a social media guy so asked waitress to bring a menu, which she did. Small price to pay depending upon the individual. I had the spicy Italian sausage tortellini's in a very good tomatoey vodka sauce. From my POV that was the best dish at the table. Unfortunately I ate it all after telling myself I was bringing some home for lunch the next day. We will be back! read more

This is one of my favorite dinner and drinks spots in the area! Many times we will just pop in for drinks, but they have amazing food as well, and the staff is top notch. Jasmine is our go-to bartender, makes great drinks and generally makes every visit a pleasure. The menu is small, and seasonal, but everything has a ton of thought put into it and I would promise you won't be disappointed. Last time we were there we had the salmon and the salad... all of it was fall themed so I sure it's changed now, but go give it a try! They are under the same ownership as Bold and Holy Taco so you can imagine the vibe... I'd say slightly higher end than holy taco and compared to bold definitely more laid back but still nice. read more

We came to this recently opened place to try something different. We had heard about this place, I read some of the reviews and we decided to give it a try being so close to where we live. We came here on Tuesday, which they offer a 40% discount on the full service dinner, which includes an appetizer, an entree and dessert. However dishes are very generous and they have plenty of food. We ordered 2 dinners for 3 people and we even had to take food back home. The food? Was excellent! All ingredients were fresh and food had a great taste. My wife was very pleased with their options and the tastes of the different dishes. We also had a bottle of wine which also was on discount. It was pricey but just because of the freshness and plentiful dishes it was very worth it. This is now our preferred dinner place! read more

I'd rather give a 3.5 for Gusto. I want to like this place way more than I thought I would and we will go back a second time. It's meant to be more of a small plate restaurant and they definitely have a good variety. Not quite tapas though; especially on the prices. We started with the burrata and prosciutto and it was very good. Fresh, nicely presented. The other selections we had were the potatoes, wagyu, and shrimp dish. Anything that has palenta with it, is a dish I will try. All were good; small portions for a big price though. Wine selection is good, also somewhat pricey. We typically order a bottle and there wasn't much to choose from in the $30 range. They did a great job on the remodel - very pretty and classy. If you're looking for higher priced, small plates, this is your spot. read more

Gusto has been on my radar since it first opened. I met my friend there last night after work. We were the first ones there as it opens at 5:00pm. The waitress said all the tables were reserved but if we could be done by 7:30pm, she could seat us. The interior has been totally remodeled into something hip and sleek. I was very impressed with the makeover. Our table was on the side by the bar. All the other tables are on the front part of the restaurant. Our waitress was very attentive. She even remembered my friend who has visited a few weeks ago and what she had to drink. After our glasses of wine arrived, we had some of the bread with olive oil. All good. I selected the Pecorino & Pear salad, which is a shareable salad. It is a large portion, but I really liked it and took half of it home. It is made with arugula, d'anjou pears, pecans, balsamic vinaigrette, pecorino romano, and frizzles prosciutto. J had the shrimp, which she shared one with me. I will definitely order the shrimp when I make a return visit. The menu is limited, but they do offer a daily special. By the time we left, the front dining area had started to fill up and there was a couple of young women sitting at the bar. I was happy with the service, food, and even the pricing as I knew it would be similar to Bold. It's a great stopping off point on my home and I know I will be back again. read more

Visited for the first time and the drink I ordered wasn't to my liking...the owner was so nice and asked me what I usually drink and got me a new drink which I loved. All the food came out quickly and it tasted fantastic. The service was top notch. Definitely will be back again. Only complaint would be no chicken on the menu. read more

Excellent dinner & service! With 4 people, we shared 3 appetizers. Pear salad, sausage flatbread, & scallops were all phenomenal. They brought stuffed grilled Gorgonzola tomatoes compliments of the chef. 2 people had salmon, 1 Waygu steak, & I had Bolognese. All were great small plates! We shared desserts & connollis were my favorite. Gelato trio was great too. Highly recommend this place! read more

The three shrimp I was served were way over cooked; so it really didn't matter what it was called. Plus a bit on the pricey side $20. We had some other stuff, but for $100, I think the foods not worth it. read more

Great friday night retreat! Got there at 4:30 for a bombay saffire cocktail "excellent " then moved on to fresh halibut special. Staff was attentive and friendly just like at Bold. Loved it. Definitely a repeat for Fridays Or maybe for any day of the week read more

Heard mixed reviews and so we went to try for ourselves last night. The intriguing menu and cozy contemporary vibe had us hopeful to make this a regular go-to since we live close. Unfortunately our experience was less than meh. The initial appetizer we ordered fell short in the taste, the second app (caprese salad) the cheese was a tad sour and had the consistency of tapioca. We were very disappointed when the manager came to apologize, but also question our reasoning, telling us that she "tasted it, and it tasted fine"... really?? Then one of our dinners (lamb chops) came out tough and flavorless. This was literally the third time in my life that I've sent food back. I can get past food mishaps... But was totally put off being questioned by the manager. Not cool. read more

Ate at Gusto last night with a couple of friends, we each selected two items on the menu and shared. We walked out full to the brim and still had leftovers for the next day. Their small plates are definitely bigger than most restaurant small plates! Every one of the six menu items was amazing from presentation to bursting with flavor. If Gusto is to thrive, it needs to be adaptable to its diners. Seating is the first issue to address-no exception to seating arrangements. No pulling up a chair in this place. They let our table split up rather than adding a chair. No concessions; in hindsight, our group should have left. The gal that made the reservation was told we would be seated at two 4 tops, but when one person didn't show, the table for six had to make a choice. Expensive drinks, good specials on small plates, but aside from us, only 2 other patrons in this new spot. With all the foodies cooking at home, its hard to drop $70 on a Tuesday night for drinks (3) and a small plate and app, so make it worth it! read more
