That level of care meant so much. Not only did she accommodate me, but she was also such a joy to talk with. I had the best time chatting with her and really appreciated her warm, positive spirit. She did a beautiful job matching my hair color and I'm very happy with the results. Truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. 10/10, I will definitely be going back to see her.

This has been my second visit to 3:16 and the service level has been amazing on both visits. The first visit my stylist was kind and professional and did an excellent job. On my second visit the previous stylist was not working so the owner offered to do the cut for me instead. She offered a wash, which I always love getting my scalp massaged, but I had just showered so it was just the cut for me. First off let me say that I have been to those super fancy and expensive barbers in town that offer booze and cigars but paying tons of cash for 15-minute clipper cut was not my cup of tea. Always being leery of introducing a new stylist my mind was immediately set at ease with Debbie. The most important thing I look for in a stylist is that they cut too much or just do their own thing. Less is more in my opinion. Debbie took her time to ask specific questions as she went and at the end of the session did a once over with me to see if I wanted any adjustments. A couple more snips and the cut was perfect. I have a new favorite spot! Key takeaways: -Friendly, professional staff -Cost, you're not going to pay for services you don't need -Customer satisfaction, they want you to come back after all! -Services, they offer a plethora of other services for ladies and gents as well

This was my first actual appointment with Jade, although I had already gone in for a consultation…read morebeforehand--and that consultation alone already made a strong impression and helped me feel comfortable trusting her with my hair. During the consultation, Jade took her time in a way that immediately stood out. She didn't rush through anything or treat it like a quick overview. Instead, she really listened to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions, and carefully looked at my hair's current condition and history. What I appreciated most was how honest she was while still being kind--she didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear, she explained what would actually work best for my hair in terms of color results, maintenance, and overall health. She walked me through different possibilities and made sure I understood the reasoning behind her recommendations. By the end of that consultation, I already felt like she had a clear, personalized plan for me, which made me feel confident going into the actual appointment. When I came in for the service, Jade picked up right where we left off. She revisited everything we discussed during the consultation and made sure we were still aligned before starting. I really appreciated that she didn't assume anything--she checked in with me, confirmed the details, and made me feel involved in the process from the very beginning. Throughout the appointment, she was extremely communicative in a calm, natural way. She explained each step as she went--whether she was applying color, adjusting tones, sectioning, or cutting--and always made sure I understood what she was doing and why. It made the entire experience feel very transparent and reassuring. Instead of sitting in silence wondering what was happening, I felt included and informed the whole time. Her attention to detail was one of the most impressive parts. She didn't rush at any stage, even when it took extra time to refine things. With the haircut, she carefully shaped and rechecked sections to make sure everything flowed properly and suited my face shape. With the color, she was very intentional about tone balance and blending, making sure it looked natural, even, and well-integrated rather than patchy or overdone. Even after the main work was done, she continued making small refinements--adjusting little details that most people might not notice but that make a big difference in the final result. What made the experience feel even more special was the way Jade carries herself with genuine warmth. Even though this was my first full appointment with her, she made the environment feel very comfortable and welcoming. It never felt clinical or transactional--it felt personal in a really natural way, like she genuinely cared about how I felt during the process and how I would feel leaving. And at the end of the appointment, when everything was finished and I was fully styled, she gave me a hug. It wasn't rushed or awkward--it felt very genuine and kind, like a small but meaningful moment of connection after the service. That hug honestly made the whole experience feel even more personal and memorable. It gave a sense of warmth and care that went beyond just doing my hair well--it felt like she truly values the people she works with. Leaving the salon, I felt really happy with my hair, but also genuinely taken care of as a person. Even though this was just my first appointment, it already felt like I had found someone I could trust long-term with my hair. Jade combines technical skill, communication, attention to detail, and genuine kindness in a way that made the entire experience stand out.

One of the hardest things about moving to a new city was giving up my hairdresser of many years. I…read moredid my research before choosing Josie, the owner of Tribe Salon, and I'm glad I did. Tribe is warm and welcoming, and I immediately felt right at home. Josie spent a good amount of time consulting with both me, and my husband, on our first visit. I was impressed with her knowledge, and how well she listened. Best cut I've ever seen on hubby, he looks super hot, and I love my cut, too. I have very thick hair, but I also like layering. Josie is a rare find, she has expertise with dry cuts, and uses a special technique with layering that doesn't make the hair thin, or get split ends. Another reason I chose Tribe is their commitment to safer and more natural color products. It doesn't smell like chemicals when you walk in the door, that' s good sign. I'm chemically sensitive, but have no issues with their products. Josie is really good with color matching. My first color treatment was similar to what I've done in the past, and I liked it, but on the next visit wanted something bolder. Her next recommendation was to try violet, and I'm absolutely in love with it! It's fun to work with someone who will truly consult with you, and be open to trying new looks. I stopped by recently to buy hair products, and Josie showed me how to properly use them. Their at-home products are Oribe, same brand as the color line, I believe, and they are luxurious and effective. I'm now able to rock my style for multiple days between washings. I highly recommend Josie, and Tribe Salon, for both men and women. Josie, in particular, has worked in the entertainment industry, and she knows how to give you that extra pizazz, to make you look, and feel, like royalty!

Rachel is such a positive personality and highly skilled at what she does…read more I came in for a color correction of black henna AND boxed dyes. She was playful and easy to talk to and also very upfront about cost, time, and expected results (that weren't favorable because of what I'd done #CardinalRule). However, she took her time, she was present through the process, attentive, and still pulled of a result better than either of us were prepared for! I also actually appreciated seeing her consult live with other specialists in the salon. I know some people may feel like that means a person doesnt know what they're doing, but to me it was a strength. It conveyed she really cared to take care of me and not just do a good job but the *right* job. Overall, extremely friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, transparent, communicative, honest and talented. Will 100% be looking to book with her for future needs. Great vibe.

I came in same day after going to a different salon the day before, where my hair unfortantley didn't turn out as I expected. I was stressed and honestly nervous to trust someone else with my hair especially being blonde & having handtied extensions... but the second I sat in their chair, they were comforting, reassuring, and so kind. They took the time to really listen, walk me through the entire process, and explain exactly what they were doing to get my hair where I wanted it to be. Brittany did my highlights & Kayla did my sew in extensions & they both put aside time to work together and figure out the best color match for me. Their energy is friendly, easy to talk to, and instantly puts you at ease. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and their confidence. They also kept in mind the integrity of my hair and keeping it healthy which was really important to me. I left feeling so much better about my hair and the whole experience. They made me feel safe, understood, and taken care of. If you need stylists who goes above and beyond these are your people! Can not say enough good things about this salon! Absolutely outstanding and amazing energy.

I cannot speak on the salon itself, only the lash artist Cristina Phillips…read more I've been going to Cristina IG is @fookyu_cristina since November. I always keep my appointments or try and reschedule if I have a sick kid or husband. I always pay without issue and always always tip. On 6/6 I had an appointment after work, like normal. My lash fills take normally 2-3 hours. Partially because I have a bladder disease and do take breaks to void my bladder. I let her know this day 1 because I don't want to make her late for other appointments or her family, etc. she never said it was a problem. Anyways after almost 3 hours of a fill, where my lashes were messed up from the prior fill 2 weeks earlier, I was shocked when I saw my lashes were NOT ok. Sparse and clumpy. She said she was sorry but I had so many baby lashes I couldn't have my full lashes. Paid $70 and tipped $20 cash. I drove home, which is 60 miles away. When I got home I saw just how bad they were. I messaged her and said hey it's not your fault but I can't do these I don't like them. She said sorry but then agreed to see me Monday, not Tuesday, and I said great. 30 min maybe we can get them fixed a bit. I showed up at 5:05pm on Monday 6/9. She wasn't there. The woman at the salon was doing hair and told me Cristina would be right back. 20 min later I messaged Cristina she didn't reply. She didn't even read the message. 20 minutes after that, I said I have to go. Salon worker apologized and said she didn't hear from Cristina at all either. I messaged Cristina and then decided to move on and try and find a new artist to fix and repair my eyes even if I had to be without extensions for awhile. After ONE ENTIRE WEEK, I got that weird message from Cristina. I had already moved on and found a girl who agreed to try and repair me. My eyes were bruised and in pain from the glue and clumps stuck on my lids. When I asked for a refund she blocked me from on FB and IG. If she didn't like me after 7 months she could've been honest. If she didn't like my queer family she could've been honest. I feel she purposely messed up my lashes and caused me pain and drama. Beware. I have many photos and my new last tech told me that Cristina glued the lashes to my LID. I am not perfect I pee a lot and I snore when I fall asleep, but I tolerated her vaping in my face when I was laying down and the 2-3 hour fills. Im sorry she hates me so much and I would like my money back.

Check out her work on IG: @fookyu_cristina This salon has lots of services to offer along with lashes too, and it's a great vibe all around.
