I bought a 2020 Ram 1500. I wonder what the protocol on potential failure to components such as engine transmission and electrical components, I find it hard to believe that a dealership would not address these issues. Opposed to ensuring you understand that it is a as is product. Am I dealing with issues yes there is an electrical issue with my steering wheel stereo buttons. However this is very frustrating. I purchased a 2020 Explorer April 4th 2025, drove the vehicle about 2-3 days went to Ford to get a new key fob because Corwin Honda did not have a second key. Ford noticed the passenger exhaust tip was hanging so I took it back to Honda. They fixed it no problem. 2 days later the car starts making a noise and my husband and I suspect transmission, so we take it back to the Honda on April 18th after having it parked for a week. They get back to us on April 24th to say that a motor mount is broken along with a part of the exhaust near the front. (pictures attached). I'm not a vehicle whiz by any means so I'm not sure what the exhaust piece is called it's like a flex point of sorts. They accused me of "hot roding it around". I have literally driven this vehicle 5 days at this point (maybe 500 miles). They say they need to take the vehicle to Ford because they have the tools to repair the vehicle. Ok fine. From April 24th there were ZERO updates on the vehicle until I call on May 12th and they tell me it is going to Ford that day because that is the "magic day" for the warranty to work. Finally, today May 16th I call and they say it is ready. I go and pick the vehicle up; it is still making the noise!! I find out that they assumed I had an extended warranty through them; I do have one through the bank that I got the loan from (which my husband told them that), but because of that it was "rejected" for repair!!! The car was with Honda for a month!!! NOW I get to go to Ford myself and see what can be done. I heavily believe the vehicle was not thoroughly inspected before it was put up for sale as they claim it was. This has been a long frustrating process! As far as how I have been treated everyone has been polite for the most part and seem to listen to my concerns and answered my questions so they get an extra star for that otherwise this would be a 1 star review. I would say I talked to the service manager more that the service advisor; who was supposed to handle this. The service manager did good with communicating what info he had at the times I reached out for updates. In addition to everything when I purchased the vehicle there was an agreement signed that they would fix the sunroof shade because when rolling it back it just drops down into the back seat. After several test drives, and many others with local area dealerships, Corwin had the SUV I wanted and the service and deal to back up the sale. I felt zero pressure, and when the rubber hit the road (pun intended), when I said "no," they would immediately back off. When I said "yes," they were quick to recognize my needs, not oversell or undersell. I admit they didn't know all the ins and outs of the accessories they had available, but when you deal with the amount of vehicles and accessories they deal with and have to account for, this made sense. Do your own research, as with any larger purchase in life. At the end of the day, I want to thank Terran for being such a reliable source of information, and for his professionalism in dealing with me. What a bunch of shysters! Cadin Perez contacted me to offer on a truck I had for sale on Marketplace. Told me in writing they would give $11k, knowing about the dent and service history, but that I had to bring it in. Then he messaged me and hit me with the classic "the earlier appraisal was wrong and now it's only $10k" max we could pay. My husband and I went to talk to him and his manager (Brook) in-person mainly to have the truck looked at to see if there were any issues because we knew the sales game they were trying to play. Brook said to bring the truck back on Weds by noon and he would personally get it pushed in to be inspected ASAP, so that's what we did. We arrived there at noon and since Cadin was out, guy named Ziah told me they would have the truck inspected and they would call me within 2 hrs. Two hours later (2pm) we went back and found the truck sitting outside. I asked Brook about it and he was absolutely RUDE and very dismissive and told my husband and I to go talk to someone else. He had no time for us and blew us off. We went to the Chevrolet side of Corwin and found out Brook told them to just look at the truck by 4pm. Brook assured us this would be expedited since we drove from Eureka to have them look at the truck. We took our keys and left, and a few minutes later I received a text from Ziah saying the truck was still being inspected and that he'd update me. Absolute lie!!! I wanted a specific 2026 model Ridgeline. My local dealer told me it would take 3-4 months to get it; but, they weren't sure. Corwin Honda said they would have it in 3-4 weeks and they did; so I drove 2 1/2 hours to buy the car from them. I got a fair deal, not the best deal ever but then they were the only dealer that had the car I wanted. The people I dealt with were helpful. The salesman, Jake, covered my new Ridgeline thoroughly and made the 2 1/2 hour drive home a lot easier. He has also been available for any follow up questions that have come up. Last year we bought a very nice used Toyota Sequoia that was a really nice large SUV. But on a whim we thought maybe we'd find something that gets a little better gas mileage than the Sequoia since we live 60 miles from town. I saw a used newer SUV on their website so we went down to look. After driving probably 10 vehicles shown to us by Josh & Kami both really great sales people, we were glad to know that they were running 0% interest for 60 mos on new Honda's. So that was the reason for our multi car test driving. We settled on a 2021 Honda Pilot Elite that is an amazing vehicle. Neither of us has ever owned a Honda but know people who have!! The person helping me said that he had been busy with one customer for the past 3 hours and so hadn't gotten to my text. Um, okay, that's ridiculous. I said that I had checked the app and it said my car was still in inspection. He said that that app doesn't work. You know the app you texted me doesn't work? But you still let me use it to not get accurate information? The complete facade of communication is just outrageous. I asked the status. My serviceman took 20 minutes to check and then told me that it was being worked on right now, the final recall was in progress. I asked how long it would take (so I could decide whether to wait there) and he said one hour. Fine. It seemed really shady, though, so I took a walk and oh, wow, there's my car in the back parking lot, not being worked on. I walked back in and said hey, my car isn't being worked on, it's in the parking lot. My serviceman said, oh, he's at lunch. So....what's with the lying? I don't get it. I was told my car was being worked on right now and it sure the heck wasn't. I asked which recall hadn't been done and the serviceman LOOKED AT THE PAPER and said the moisture box (not the technical term, but I'm using it so you will see that later that *gasp!* was not true). I said I would take care of that later, I wanted my car back now. I wasn't going to sit there for 3 hours while they lied to me about the status of my car. He said okay and 20 minutes later brought me my keys. He said that the recall that hadn't been done was a different one than the moisture box. I am so confused. A week after purchasing a car with them that I ended up hating, they proceeded to make trading that car in absolutely miserable. They wouldn't transfer any of the packages I purchased for the original vehicle (again, after less than ONE WEEK). When a few days after purchasing the vehicle I said I didn't like it (it had a top-hinged gas pedal which they had no understanding of), Randy, the manager said "too bad, there's nothing you can do in Montana." Worst experience ever! I took my 2012 Civic in for an oil change. I was told the brake fluid was a little dirty, should be changed so I authorized a brake flush. Next I was told I needed to schedule an appointment for compliance bushings replacement, wheel alignment. I scheduled an appointment. When my car was ready I was not given a detailed invoice. Instead, service advisor Joe scribbled on Corwin Honda letterhead prepay $230 with no breakdown of the services rendered during the appointment. I asked multiple times for a detailed invoice. When I asked why I wasn't given a detailed invoice Joe said this is your invoice. I added I've never been given a prepay from a dealership. Joe advised we provide prepays all the time! I ended up getting a Repair Estimate that lists $72.32 for oil change; $136.76 for brake fluid flush= $209.08 so I was overcharged $20.92. I talked to the service manager, Dan who argued with me over another service I received over a year ago with Joe on the controversy of a transmission flush. Dan claimed I overpaid by a penny! Dan said he'd mail the detailed invoice, I'm still waiting. Meantime I took my Civic to an ethical mechanic who inspected the control arm, bushings as well as test drove my car. The verdict is the photo taken at Corwin was done at an angle after lifted making the rubber bushings appear more worn than they actually are. What shady characters! They were going to squeeze me for another $761 for a service that isn't needed right now. Highly disappointed over the sleazy experience. read more

I love Honda's. And my sales associate Connor was great - very kind and good listener. However, I was not very pleased with the following: 1.) Detail service - I found food lodged in the corners and candy in the back seat. 2.) The Title service was submitted late to the DMV - my middle name was incorrect even though I noted that during the closing. AND I was charged a late fee by the DMV for Corwin's error. When I told Corwin they didn't respond to this issue. 3.) The wrong license plate was sent to me - even though I specifically filled out a form with Corwin to have this done correctly. They said you are out of luck, we don't have a copy of the form. 4.) The math was wrong - I don't know what kind of calculations the sales manager was doing, they tried to tell me my 2024 CRV payments would be $800/month when I did a max calculation of a 8% interested rate (for the worst case scenario) and the max payment is $560 (with extended warranty). So do your own math. 5.) Upon leaving with the keys - they didn't give me my temporary registration, I had to go back to the dealership for that. We don't live close. 6.) I gave permission to check my credit once - and the closer did it 3 times! So unnecessary! Overall, the experience as sloppy. But I love my new car. read more

The absolute nicest, most helpful Honda repair anywhere! We had our 2012 Honda Odyssey looked at three separate times at Honda Oakland. They were unable to find a problem and so we continued on our family vacation up the coast and then east through Montana/Wyoming. Unfortunately, our car then broke down again in Bend, Oregon. Bend Honda was also extremely helpful and courteous. Our car then broke down again in Kalispell on our drive to Glacier National Park. Kelly at Corwin Honda took the car in without an appointment, had the problem diagnosed within a day, and promptly arranged for parts to be shipped and repairs performed. With Kelly handling "all things auto," we were able to continue on our trip (to Yellowstone and Salt Lake) in a rental car. After the repairs, Corwin Honda facilitated shipping of our car back to the SF Bay Area, where we started our trip--all without a hitch and all at a very reasonable price. We recently had an issue with a dead battery. We called Corwin Honda at 3:30 pm. We were advised that if we could make it by 4:00 pm they would try to determine the cause of the issue. The battery was found to be defective and it was only 11 months old. They replaced the battery at no charge since it was under warranty. It has been computer diagnosed with a transmission problem. The mechanics can't see a problem, don't understand why the lights are on, but want to put in a new transmission - estimate $5k on a car with less than 30 thousand miles! Customer Service solution from the corporation is to trade the car in with the local dealership. What? Like I want another Honda lemon. The corporation evidently doesn't stand behind the product either. Honda USED to be a reliable car. Be forewarned, there is no help now that Honda puts garbage under the hood. I would not recommend the service department. My sunroof spontaneously shattered and needed to be replaced. I was told that they wouldn't work with my insurance company and had to pay upfront to order the replacement sunroof ($460.00) which I did. Chris the service dept rep I spoke with told me that I would have to pay approximately 2 hrs of labor to clean up the broken glass at $145.00 per hour. I personally cleaned & vacuumed the inside of my car, so the only glass they would need to deal with is what was still contained in the sunroof and the mechanism. I was hopeful that this would be repaired/replaced quickly, since the part would be in the next day after it was ordered. (First visit) I picked up my car & drove off without checking that the sunroof was working properly. Of course it didn't. Apparently the glass wasn't fully cleaned from the mechanism so when I opened the sunroof & tried to close it, it wouldn't close and bounced back open while making a horrific noise. When it did close, it also made a crunching, loud noise. Since I was going out of town, I couldn't take my car back for a week. (2nd visit) When I did, they found the glass in the mechanism that they missed in the first visit, and then the sunroof supposedly was working, but while they were fixing what they didn't fix correctly the first time, they broke something else & had to order that part. (3rd visit) Once again I had to bring my car in to have the part they broke replaced. After dropping my car off, they called me to tell me they ordered the wrong part and would now have to order the correct part, which won't be in until the next day. I can't make this stuff up. (4th visit) Finally the sunroof is working properly and the broken part was replaced. But while they were installing what they originally broke, they left my headliner surrounding the sunroof greasy, grimy, and dirty. It looked like they greased up their hands and just wiped them on the headliner while trying to repair/replace what they originally broke. When I called to complain, and after speaking w/ some sort of manager, I was told to bring my car back again and they would detail my car. (5th visit) I dropped off my car to be detailed and when I picked it up, the headliner was cleaned up, but I will still have to work on it because, it's no where near what it was before taking it there, but nothing else was done. They didn't even wash the exterior or wipe down the dashboard. This is their idea of detailing my car. When I complained, yet again they gave me a coupon for a free car wash at a local car wash place. Even the general manager of the dealership didn't think they did anything wrong. It's obvious they over promise and under deliver. They feel that since they are the only Honda dealership in the area, they don't need to provide good, adequate customer service. As much as I love my Honda, they will never get my business ever again. They never offered to give me a loaner for the inconvenience, due to their shoddy work, or offer to give me a partial refund, due to their inability to do the job properly. If I could rate them with zero stars, I would. I suggest you find a good, reputable, reliable mechanic/dealership to spend your hard earned dollars, but DO NOT GO TO CORWIN!! read more

HORRIBLE! NEVER GO TO THIS BUSINESS!!!! We went here on 8/8 to get our air conditioning serviced, because we happened to be in the area (and it was dang hot in August with no A/C!) The VERY NEXT DAY as we were driving back to Helena (4 hours away), the A/C exploded (loud hissing sound / cloud of white steam - no A/C.) When we contacted Eisenger Honda, they denied any responsibility. We ended up paying $200 for Eisinger Honda to "fix" the A/C + $300 for our local repair shop to do it right 2 days later!!!! NEVER go there! The service manager was also a real jerk over the phone. They do not stand behind their service. They do not deserve your business. read more

My great experience at Eisinger followed a sucky one from the Honda dealership in Bozeman (Denny Menholt), so both stories need to be told for the complete deal. On August 3, I went to Menholt because the sprayers on my windshield wipers would not spray water anymore. They discovered a dead mouse in the reservoir and apparently it had decomposed enough to have stopped up the hoses and nozzles. (Gag, gross!) Their report from the service ticket: "Removed washer tank to remove dead mouse, cleaned out tank, blew out line, still not spraying well. Nozzles plugged, need replaced." I'm an RVer who tows my 2013 Honda Fit behind my motorhome and I was not going to be in Bozeman for the days it would take to order the parts and have them installed there. Since my next stop was in Kalispell, they recommended I order the parts from Eisinger Honda, which I did. Another RVer mechanic friend was going to install the nozzles, but when he opened the hood, he showed me how the cowling across the windshield did not fit correctly and the left side vertical piece was missing. He said it looked like the white clip had been broken and did not hold the piece firmly in place, and at some point it fell off. I called the service adviser at Menholt to inform her of this and she said to have the service manager at Kalispell (David) send a picture and they would determine what the next step was. Later, David called me back and said he spoke to Mike, the service manager at Menholt and his response was that everything was working right when I left and did not offer to do anything to address the missing cowling piece. David informed me that he would go ahead and order the missing part and install it for me at no charge. Really appreciated that since it was not their fault, but they would not be compensated for the part or their labor. Yesterday, I went in and he did exactly that and also fixed the rear washer blades that had not been cleaned out by Menholt. David told me they also discovered a part of a nest that the mouse apparently had started building and he cleaned that out, also. Seems to me that Menholt should have addressed that as part of the original problem since I paid them a tidy sum of $115.50 for their service. What really upset me was the remark from Mike to David that "everything was working right when she left." Obviously that is not true because they informed me I needed the nozzle parts to complete the repair so that the water could get through to the wipers. That's just a perfect example of a service provider saying whatever he thought would get himself off the hook, no matter how ridiculous and untrue it was. If he would have looked at his own service ticket, he could have seen that. I think the willingness of David at Eisinger to completely fix the problems left by Menholt at no charge to me and with no compensation to themselves for the part and labor is commendable and indicates an exceptional level of customer service. I had my oil changed there because I wanted them to have some business for their trouble and based on what experience I had, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. read more

This review isn't for the dealership in terms of service and sales. So please keep that in mind. Instead, it's for the relationship Eisinger has as a "preferred installer" through TireRack.com. I ordered tires from TireRack, and Eisinger was the only installer listed on their site in the Kallispell/Whitefish area. I called to book an install, but got some hesitation over the phone. "Are they low profile? Are they run flats? Not sure if we can do them... I'll check and get back to you." I'm thinking... if you are going to put yourself out there as a general installer, you should be able to handle anything. Voice mail telephone tag ended up with me never knowing if they COULD do my tires or not. After my last message, they never called back. So I went to Howie's in Whitefish, which I highly recommend. He handles it all there, including pressure sensors. And his rates were way cheaper. read more

I LOVE this dealership. I know that may sound weird, but as a woman purchasing a car on my own, having a car buying experience that is friendly, welcoming and comfortable is huge. We all know buying a car is stressful, but I honestly will not go anywhere else. It really feels like they appreciate you as a person, not just as a customer. This was my second purchase at Eisinger Motors in 6 years and I have had all of my vehicle service done there and everyone is great. From service, to sales all the way up to Mr. Eisinger himself, I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at this dealership. I felt like I was treated with respect and I never once felt taken advantage of and to me that is a really big deal. wanted to give a big shout out to Corwin Homda kalispell mt.. and josh Durkin.. for completely selling me a $30000 piece of crap.. sent to auction through bank.. i paid $13000 for a vehicle I do not own/ have, cause hunk of junk. bank will only give me a loan for 8.14 percent.. now and my credit is trashed!! That was in great shape.. so again thanks josh Durkin!!! it's been super awesome having a husband die of ALS after 16 years.. and no vehicle sense January! My kids are taking the blunt end of your greediness too... kinda hard to get your kids around wit nothing to drive. he was all about give me a call if you have any questions.. when I did call , told me to look it up in u tube, cause would take him too much time... just a complete awful experience!! the service department was rude.. how dare I want them to fix everything wrong!! josh does a great job and is excellent at his paperwork so you can't come back on him or dealership... may karma grace you all at Corwin for all the awful things you do to people trying to get by. read more

I've purchased 3 Honda's over the years, at what used to be Eisinger Honda. I had horrid experiences, with pushy, arrogant, and rude salespeople, including the owner. When the name changed, I thought (hoped) that the attitude would go with it, but unfortunately - no. Corwin seems to insist on operating on the old paradigm of pushy sales person schooling. I am 50 ( something ) years old and have been through the anguishing hours long process of buying many vehicles from dealerships. This was different. George and his team were honest, up front and very pleasant to deal with. Got a great deal on my trade in and an even better deal on my new ride. Plus, it didn't take "all day" to complete the deal. Worst customer service in the valley! Dropped my car off for service and used their contactless drop off (which they recommended!). I called the day before to review the drop off procedure a second time. I dropped my car off the next day and called from the parking lot to let them know the key was in the night drop box- they said no problem. Imagine my surprise when at 230 I called and they said that they hadn't touched it. I ended up having to leave it there. So a 2.5 hour appointment took two days. I asked to speak to the general manager and was told by two people that they would give him the message. I emailed the general manager, Chris Rembaugh, and he never received any messages. Go figure. Got ahold of him and all he really said (after raising his voice to me) was that there are new phones and that he was being proactive. Yelled at me "I don't know what you want. I'll refund your money". I was literally in the middle of a sentence when he hung up on me. You know what I want Chris? To be treated with a little respect (especially at places where I am spending my money). He has no business being in the customer service industry. Update 4.13.20 Just to be clear- got refunded for diagnostic only. Not oil change, as the general manager clearly stated in his response to this review. read more
