motor mount (Not a video)
Jenna A.

I purchased a 2020 Explorer April 4th 2025, drove the vehicle about 2-3 days went to Ford to get a new key fob because Corwin Honda did not have a second key. Ford noticed the passenger exhaust tip was hanging so I took it back to Honda. They fixed it no problem. 2 days later the car starts making a noise and my husband and I suspect transmission, so we take it back to the Honda on April 18th after having it parked for a week. They get back to us on April 24th to say that a motor mount is broken along with a part of the exhaust near the front. (pictures attached). I'm not a vehicle whiz by any means so I'm not sure what the exhaust piece is called it's like a flex point of sorts. They accused me of "hot roding it around". I have literally driven this vehicle 5 days at this point (maybe 500 miles). They say they need to take the vehicle to Ford because they have the tools to repair the vehicle. Ok fine. From April 24th there were ZERO updates on the vehicle until I call on May 12th and they tell me it is going to Ford that day because that is the "magic day" for the warranty to work. Finally, today May 16th I call and they say it is ready. I go and pick the vehicle up; it is still making the noise!! I find out that they assumed I had an extended warranty through them; I do have one through the bank that I got the loan from (which my husband told them that), but because of that it was "rejected" for repair!!! The car was with Honda for a month!!! NOW I get to go to Ford myself and see what can be done. I heavily believe the vehicle was not thoroughly inspected before it was put up for sale as they claim it was. This has been a long frustrating process! As far as how I have been treated everyone has been polite for the most part and seem to listen to my concerns and answered my questions so they get an extra star for that otherwise this would be a 1 star review. I would say I talked to the service manager more that the service advisor; who was supposed to handle this. The service manager did good with communicating what info he had at the times I reached out for updates. In addition to everything when I purchased the vehicle there was an agreement signed that they would fix the sunroof shade because when rolling it back it just drops down into the back seat. For having it for a month that was not even fixed!!

Our 2021 Honda Pilot Elite
Lori R.

We've purchased our second vehicle from here or actually the 3rd since we bought our truck at the Chevy dealership that shares the same lot. Last year we bought a very nice used Toyota Sequoia that was a really nice large SUV. But on a whim we thought maybe we'd find something that gets a little better gas mileage than the Sequoia since we live 60 miles from town. I saw a used newer SUV on their website so we went down to look. After driving probably 10 vehicles shown to us by Josh & Kami both really great sales people, we were glad to know that they were running 0% interest for 60 mos on new Honda's. So that was the reason for our multi car test driving. We settled on a 2021 Honda Pilot Elite that is an amazing vehicle. Neither of us has ever owned a Honda but know people who have!! We absolutely love it!! Finance department was a breeze and service is always good.

Duc was our salesman and he was fantastic the finance manager was wonderful everyone catered to our every need when it comes to feeling good, and comfortable buying a car. They listened to what we wanted for a vehicle and the amenities, while keeping the price down as able. They were kind and personable and just knew their vehicles and people! It should give you a good feeling when you're getting a vehicle and there's like five other people getting a car at the same time-It goes to show that it wasn't just one salesman it was a lot of them.Their service department is amazing because they contact us when it's time for the car to come in and have an oil change or whatever service may be needed. Although again we can't say enough about Duc -so kind personable, and knowledgable. When you leave you genuinely feel like you can trust his word and the Kalispell Toyota stands by their product. That is so important to a buyer who is putting a lot of money into something; esp these days. Duc even calls us on our birthdays; I mean who does that! The vehicle continued making the same noises we initially brought it in for only louder and is now accompanied by a burning smell. When we returned to address the unresolved problem, we were informed that an additional part (a water pump) would need to be replaced at extra cost. This was confusing and frustrating, as the initial diagnostic failed to identify what now appears to be the actual issue. We were asked to pay again despite the concern we originally brought the vehicle in for never being corrected. We requested and retained the original parts that were replaced and later had them inspected by an individual who previously worked at Ford as both a mechanic and service writer. We were advised those parts appeared functional and should not have required replacement. Based on this, we believe the service department should take accountability for the incomplete diagnosis and cover the repair related to the water pump, which should have been identified during the original visit. Our concern has never been about avoiding payment, but about accountability for an incorrect or incomplete diagnosis that resulted in unnecessary expense, lost time, and nearly two weeks without reliable transportation. Unfortunately, communication during our visit became unprofessional. A staff member walked away from the discussion, and assistant management refused our request to escalate the concern to higher leadership or ownership. They also told us that the service director/manager was gone the whole week to Arizona even though we we supposed to have a meeting with him to come to a resolution. When we picked up my vehicle today, the service director/manager was back, so they told us false information so we couldn't discuss with their supervisors or owner. We were also told that if the dealership chose to cover the repair that was the actual issue, they may refuse to work on our vehicle in the future simply because we questioned the situation. We asked only for transparency, an explanation of the failed repair, and a fair resolution. Instead, we were met with defensiveness and dismissal from the service department. At this point, we cannot recommend this dealership due to poor customer service, lack of accountability, and unwillingness to properly address an unresolved repair concern. At this point, yes after the discussion with the service department, they are now doing my water pump fix which should been resolved in the first place but I'm glad they are doing it now but I am not pleased that the lady at the service desk said "well if we do this, then we are parting ways and no longer will work on your vehicle in the future". Simply because I mentioned facts that she told me were "your opinions" on what has happened, the incomplete diagnostic, that I was charged over $1200 for something that wasn't the issue in the first place. The service department needs to be investigated. They also deleted my review so I had to post this again.

If we could give zero stars, we would…read more Our experience with Clark Nissan has been disappointing, and terribly upsetting and just aweful. Esp when it comes to the service dept. Customer service is not good and at times we question competency with valid examples. Our Nissan truck was purchased brand new, is only several yrs old, and has fewer than 50,000 miles on it. Yet it has required so many trips to the service dept that we've lost count, w/nearly every visit lasting at least a week. Most recent repair has now stretched beyond 3 weeks . That is completely unacceptable for a vehicle of this age and mileage. Communication and follow-through have required constant effort on our part. We are not just experiencing delays; we are repeatedly forced to escalate to management because when we contact the service dept, they seem unconcerned. We are repeatedly dismissed w/an attitude of complacency and given unreasonable excuses-just to get basic answers or action on repairs that should be straightforward. Another major issue is transportation. They no longer provide loaner vehicles+only offer a shuttle ride home; that doesn't solve the problem when your vehicle is unavailable for wks at a time due to delays on their end. My husband has repeatedly been left without a vehicle for extended periods of time b/c of this. Warranty coverage - we were initially told a repair was not covered and would cost several thousand dollars to fix! My husband had to contact Nissan directly to get the issue resolved b/c the dealership did not advocate or do the necessary legwork - we still don't have our vehicle back after over 3 wks. My husband had to track down a manager himself after weeks of delay just to get an update and potential movement on getting the truck back. The most serious concern involved the brakes. After our service contract expired, my husband performed brake work and discovered the driver-side brake hose had two large bulges that appeared ready to rupture. We immediately had it towed to the dealership because it was not safe to drive. They were also informed at drop-off what was wrong and that the vehicle is used for heavy towing. They replaced a brake caliper and one brake hose, which required bleeding the brake system+ then sent us home telling us the problem was resolved. Thank God my husband looked under the truck when we got home. (unfortunately we couldn't trust their word). Still we really could not believe the damaged brake hose w/visible bulges was left in place! despite being present during the repair. They let us drive home in it. We felt so disillusioned that the truck was returned to us in that condition. This created a serious safety risk. A brake line in that condition could have failed while towing a heavy load, with potentially catastrophic consequences. After we contacted them, they sent someone to retrieve it and ultimately replaced the damaged hose. This should never have happened in the first place. Because this is the only Nissan dealership in the valley, customers with warranty work have very limited options. Unfortunately, that makes these repeated issues even more difficult to manage. In the beginning, when the truck first started having issues for no clear reason given its age and mileage, there was at least one service advisor who was somewhat helpful. After that person left the dealership, the service experience changed for the worse and has been consistently poor since. This service dept has become an ongoing operational failure marked by long delays, poor communication, disputes over coverage, and repeated situations where we have had to fight for basic resolution. What if a young person or elderly experienced these things and didn't know how to advocate for themselves? They would be out a lot of money or potentially injured due to pure laziness. Based on our experience over multiple visits, we cannot recommend Clark Nissan at all; in fact we suggest you go somewhere else to buy a vehicle.

Took the car back the next day and *they charged me to fix the tire.* I would expect any dealership to sell a $34k car with 4 good tires. (Plus I could have gone to leschawb for free) They also sold me several warranty coverages with the car. All of the warranties are with third parties. However these warranties were all falsely embellished. Turns out, oil changes are not covered even though they were highlighted in the $3,900 "full maintenance" package I purchased. If the dealership was willing to work with me on any of these issues I would not be writing this review. They were pretty uptight in their customer service to remedy any of these issues.
