That last point is huge for me, and a big part of why I keep coming. Any woman who has tried to go to any car servicing has surely experienced that before, and not once has anyone at Pinegar talked to me like that. They've also never tried to upsell me on services, always explained to me why they do things, and they're always nice. Also, being able to drive my car straight into the garage, hand off my keys, and walk 10 feet into the waiting room, super appreciated by me, I have a disability and not having to walk and stand in line, it's very helpful. I drive out from Springfield every time because I know they're gonna treat me and my car well.

An unexpected road-trip detour this morning, but definitely a worthwhile one…read more We had to make an unscheduled side trip to Pinegar Honda in Springfield, Missouri, for B1 service on our Honda Odyssey. It added about an hour of drive time to our trip, plus another hour and 15 minutes for the service itself, but we prefer to do it by the book, and thankfully our Honda service plan covered everything. To make our 8:30 AM appointment, we had to get up at 5:30 local time in Rolla and get on the road early. Much of the drive to Springfield was through nearly two hours of rain, so it was a long and very early start to the day. The good news? The dealership was excellent, the service area was clean and well organized, and everything was handled smoothly. A fun surprise in the waiting area was an on-site donut case featuring St. George's Donuts, a true Springfield institution. Katy St. George first learned to make donuts in her father's shop in California, and in 1971 she and her husband Charles sold their business there and moved back to her hometown of Springfield, where they opened the first St. George's Donuts at Grand and Glenstone. It was a neat local touch to enjoy a bit of Springfield history while waiting for the service to be completed. After a 5:30 wake-up call and a rainy drive, that was a very welcome bonus. Had advised that worrying about the cosmetic damage but had unrelated stuff on truck I was going to use money on. 1. Was the gas gauge not working properly likely due to float on fuel pump it seemed. They said they had mechanic in back that could do it. So made appt. They called day later and said done. Picked up and the gas gauge now pegged on full. I asked why they didn't make sure it was working properly before putting bed back on and advising me it wa good to go.They denied any wrong doing and that they had done what was asked and "put it in"....the emphasis that having to make sure it was working was not their responsibility. After a bit of urging they stated they (Kyle) would ask their tech the next morning. I left the truck. Next day they called and denied that it was not their problem. I stated obviously was and they needed to correct. They stated only if pay again to have the bed taken off and pay for diagnosis...they emphasized it would be a very expensive diagnosis. I immediately drove over. Asked for manager and and advised him I needed a full refund. He laughed and stated not happening. I then asked for the corporate number. He said he would not give it, I could look it up (I had already tried finding online). I stated again I either refund or give me the number. He again stated again no and I did not leave he would call the police. I said give me the phone number and no problem. He turned and went to the phone and called the police. The guy came walking back from the outside about same time with the old pump so I stepped outside and he politely advised it still smelled of gas and he could put in back of truck for me. I didn't believe I should then leave the scene so I waited outside for police to arrive. That all just was determined a civil matter I moved the truck off the property next door that gave me permission to leave until I could bring back another driver. Next day I went to fill up the truck and gas came rolling off the top of the gas tank from area of the pump. HORRIBLE!!!!!

Take it in today and they can't help me because the got swamped and need more time for the repairs, after they assured me this would be taken care of this weekend due to my schedule.
