I'm terrified of needles but did something to my upper back and neck that I was willing to try anything. I found this business through yelp, they took my insurance and had availability! Score in all fronts. My first appt went well; Dr. Sullivan walked me through everything, explained things and answered all my questions. He even took the time to show me how the acupuncture works and assured me while I'd feel a slight pinch the needles wouldn't cause me tremendous pain... I decided to try it and boy am I believer now!! I've told everyone about him and acupuncture. My moms been trying to get me to go for years now and now I finally understand why. Searched for chiropractors on Yelp, view the search list, looked at the stars, read the reviews, decided on Kingstowne Family Chiropractic. 1/3/25 approximately 1:30pm I walk in, no one in sight, 1 minute later a friendly face appears "hello can I help you". I say hello are you taking new patients, the woman responded "yes", I followed with I need an adjustment today if possible but I'll take the next available appointment, I'm in pain and have discomfort in my neck, shoulders and hips. The woman immediately asked me about insurance, I provided her the insurance information but informed her my policy did not take effect until February and that I would be paying out of pocket. Immediately the woman says "we don't take your insurance", I said no problem I'll pay out of pocket. Immediately the woman say "well we're about to close but I can refer you to Dr. Connolly at the Spine Center, he takes your insurance ". I said I understand but I'm in pain and I'm paying out of pocket as my insurance does not take effect until February, the woman writes Dr. Connolly's name on the back of her business card and says "he can help you, we're about to close and I'm going on vacation so I can't schedule you". I said thank you and enjoy your vacation, I walk out the door, drive over to visit Dr. Connolly at the Spine Center... it's closed. I'm not sure why I was dismissed as I was at Kingstowne Family Chiropractic which had such great reviews but this is certainly not a practice that cares about a person being in pain and having chiropractic discomfort. * I would also like to add, I think the majority of the reviews on Yelp are fake, with the exception of my recent review, the reviews for the business are all from years ago, all 5 star, and the reviewers have little to no pictures or other reviews/contributions... that is definitely a red flag.

Dr Shayda did a full assessment, and unlike some other chiropractors I've been to in the past, it seemed like she was more focused on helping me, then trying to get money. She used a couple different modalities, including a super strong tens unit. She gave me a couple quick adjustments, too. The neck adjustments were really great as were the upper back adjustments. My lower back always requires a bit more work, so I think I'd have to come to her a few times for her to understand my body in order to really get what I need. However, I really appreciated how helpful she was, and how caring she was during both of my visits. I would highly recommend this location and look forward to coming back.

I've seen maybe 15 chiropractors in my life for various back and neck ailments. Half of them were no good. The other half were good and brought the ongoing relief that I needed. Dr. Piokowski is in the top of that group of excellent chiropractors. He's patient, takes extra time to explain what he is going to do, and manipulates you with only the right amount of force to adjust you. Also, he is a great guy and anyone who brings his dog to work will put you at ease right away. As an example of his focus on you, during one visit I thought I was done and headed to the exit. But something didn't feel quite right in my neck - I think it stiffened up again before I made it out the door. He immediately called me right back into the room and made the extra adjustment and asked me to wait five minutes to see if my neck was going to stiffen again. Truly focused on your health. And I don't even write that many Yelp reviews, but I wanted to be sure that you know that he is good, very reasonably priced for those of us who have limited chiropractic insurance coverage or pay cash, and you will get the cracks and relief that you need to get back to your normal. I called him on Sat evening and got appointment on Monday morning. When I went to his practice, my pain was almost gone ( I guess it was because the baby moved to another position). Dr. Suleman checked my spine, my muscle, my legs, etc. to confirm that nothing is wrong. He mentioned that he will not do anything since my pain was gone and I was pregnant. Dr. Suleman said I can come back after I deliver the baby since I stated that I always have backpain. I was so impressed with his knowledge and experience. After delivered the baby, I went back to see him again as a follow up. He checked me and did some adjustment. He also advised me how to do the exercise to help me build the muscle and avoid the pain in the future. He is not kind of Dr. who just want the money from you. He is very sincere, kind, and friendly. Woah! Best experience I had in a long time. I walked in…read morethinking I was at the right place, but realized I wasn't. The front desk thankfully was able to fit me in for a 40 minute massage! No oils, just straight up acupressure! The therapist was able to release so much of my tension and knots that most people wouldn't be able to do. I forgot the name of the therapist, but I will 100% be back for him! Every week!
