I have been seeing Dr. Hamidi for about 10 years and am so grateful he exists! I always leave his office feeling and moving great again, every time. He always takes the time to listen and advise me how to do my tasks a different way to prevent misalignment from happening again. He is patient and careful and always makes sure I'm relaxed and breathing properly before he makes adjustments. His office is lovely and the staff are all wonderful people and a pleasure to deal with. I have also had great massages from both Jeffrey and Carla. I highly recommend! read more

After receiving spinal manipulation at District Wellness, I was hospitalized and ended up becoming disabled. It has been almost 4 years since then and I hope Dr Hamidi contacts me to offer the most adequate solution to restore my functional capacity. read more

I have been visiting Dr. Hamidi since I was in a car accident. He and his team have been very welcoming every time I have visited. I started seeing Dr. Hamidi because of the car accident, but I have learned a lot from Dr. Hamidi about what kind of stretches to use at home and how best to travel for work to limit the strain I get. But the best result is that I do not have migraines anymore. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Hamidi and his team if you are in need! read more

Couldn't recommend District Wellness and Dr. Hamidi enough. I've had lingering disc issues at L5-S1 for close to a decade and while we weren't able to "fix" anything, he's been able to provide a decent bit of relief which was all I had hoped for. I've (unfortunately) been to plenty of chiropractors and the majority of them feel ancient - musty smells, cracked leather adjustment tables, and a treatment plan that hasn't changed much from the 90's. Dr. Hamidi is a young, athletic guy and he knows the intricacies of the body in and out and invests in the newest, cutting edge equipment to get you better. It was such a relief to see a copy of Supple Leopard on his bookshelf (basically the bible for resolving pain, preventing Injury, and optimizing performance) and have my tight hamstrings treated with the newest Hyperice Hypervolt massage gun. Dr. Hamidi is unlike other chiros I've seen in that he's the least bit pushy; he outlines what he thinks will help but he's not pressuring you into signing up for three visits a week for six months. His online booking system is just another plus the makes the whole process run like clockwork. Thank you! read more

So glad I found Dr. Hamidi! I felt relief immediately after the first session. Complete lifesaver. Dr. Hamidi also knows how to LISTEN and knows the right questions to ask. I'm mad at myself for not coming here sooner! If you're in pain, don't wait like me. Make an appointment now!!! Looking forward to my next visit and feeling 100% again :) read more

Shady business practices. Their online booking request form includes weekend appointments. My husband and I thought we booked two Saturday morning appointments. We were then bombarded with texts and phone calls asking us to pay in advance to receive a discounted rate. We called the day before our appointments to confirm the time and were informed that they do not have any weekend appointments available for the foreseeable future, despite the fact that they advertise weekend appointments on their website and had sent us dozens of text messages urging us to pay in advance of an appointment we had supposedly booked. I know this place gets great reviews, but it honestly feels like a scam to me. read more

Dr. Hamidi provided superb support during my recent visit. I had a complex, seemingly intractable problem in my right leg, and I was touched by how much time he took with me to diagnose it and to offer several steps to remediate it. He was careful, methodical, and completely reassuring. I didn't feel rushed and could not have asked for better assistance on this issue. This is consistent with treatment he has provided me over the years. read more

Dr. Hamidi is genuinely a miracle worker. After years of chronic back pain and endless other doctors, multiple scans, discussions of surgery and the like - my injury remained present and without proper diagnosis. I went to Dr. Hamidi after seeing numerous excellent reviews and scheduled a consultation. He knew what the issue was within fifteen minutes, and furthermore could tell what posture I spend most of my days in. He said by the end of the first appointment, my pain would be momentarily relieved, and by the end of a series of appointments it would be permanently relieved. I was skeptical until I stood up and was without pain for the first time I could remember. I was in actual disbelief. It's been a couple months now - and I am pain free with no medication, no surgery, no further scans. Thank you, Dr. Hamidi! You changed my life. read more

Highly recommend for professionalism and customized care. I went to Dr. Hamidi about a month ago with moderate lower back pain. He was able to treat the pain quickly but what I was more pleased with was that he walked me through the underlying root cause and gave me a few at-home treatment techniques. Once the underlying conditions improved, he shifted the focus to long-term preventative measures. As an athlete, it is nice to have a Dr. who was also an athlete himself and is knowledgeable about treatment and prevention techniques to keep me performing best. read more

Dr. Hamidi is great- super knowledgeable regarding sports injuries! He genuinely cares about my exercise and recovery. Highly recommend!

I had a bad shoulder injury causing me serious discomfort. Fearing the worst I went to see Dr.Hooman as a last ditch effort before going to the dreaded Hospital or specialist. Thankfully after two visits Dr. Hooman fixed my shoulder as well as my lower back discomfort. He is well worth the visit as the correction takes less then an hour out of your day. read more

Best chiropractor I've gone to, and I've seen a few. Uses state of the Art equipment, unlike the other chiropractors. Great bedside manner, professional, not pushy, and honest. Most importantly, my husband and I have feel so much relief from our back woes in such a short amount of time. Incredible staff, very friendly but not over the top. Genuine. Thank you! read more

Timeliness: A+ Professionalism: A+ Knowledge: A+ Pricing: A Dr. H. made my first time chiropractic visit fantastic! I came just to check out what chiropractic treatments were all about (after having friends who go on the regular and seeing that TryGuys video). Dr. H. was friendly and super informative -- able to answer all my questions as well provide great insights & tips on how to improve my posture and be mindful of my problem areas. In our first session he identified the cause of my tension headaches and was able to relieve some of the pressure/strain in my shoulders/neck & upper back. Looking forward to my next visit! His pricing is competitive, and although the location is a short 10min walk from the metro, there's also plenty of street parking around, too. read more

I went to see Dr. Hamidi to try and reduce pain from a herniated disc at L2-3. Before I made my first appointment I called to ask the receptionist if District Wellness accepted Medicare. She said they did and I began treatments. I went there 2x/week for several months and experienced some small but not material improvement. The treatment regiment was the same during each visit: 10 minutes on an automatic roller followed by 15-20 minutes of physical manipulation by Dr. Hamidi and then 3-4 "drops" on the chiro table. I like Dr. Hamidi and am sure his treatments may be helpful for some. Unfortunately, they weren't for me and I recently had surgery to repair the herniated disc. I was surprised Dr. Hamidi did not look at the MRI or xray images I brought to our initial meeting as he might have determined (as specialists later did) that chiropractic treatment would not resolve my herniated disc. I was also surprised to receive a bill for $442 from his office. I was told by his billing person that Medicare had denied payment for much of my treatment. I called Medicare and found out that certain chiropractic services are NOT covered by Medicare, no matter the reason. This was a disappointing surprise given what I believed from talking with his staff person. I hope this may be helpful to others with issues to mine and those who may be on Medicare. read more

I used to have terrible neck and upper back spasms that would leave me in a lot of pain and unable to move my upper body. This is a cornic problem I have had to deal with because I sit at a desk all day. Dr. Hamidi has been seeing for a few months now and he has really helped me minimize my pain and my spasms. In addition to his excellent treatments, he has also given me tips and exercises that have helped reduce my pain. I highly recommend Dr. Hamidi! read more

Awesome experience!! Can't be more thankful about his job. After many years of suffering from my lower back pain, I found the one who helped me to get rid of my pain and pain relief medications! Only after few therapy sessions I felt the healing progress and rarely I felt the back pain. By Dr. Houman's help I got back my skills and I can do all of my activities. He really cares about his patients, he was following up with me a day after my therapy. I highly recommend his service to those who need chiropractic care. Thank you Dr Hooman! read more

Very friendly staff and Dr. Hamidi is great at what he does. I've been working with him for several weeks now and feel much better. Thanks!

So I'm not a professional athlete but I do my best to perform like one when I have a chance to work out and run. I'm not as young as I used to be and I was advised by another patience who is just as active as me to check him out. Let me just say I was a skeptic before but now I am sold not only did he adjust me (and man do I feel better) but he was able to point out how my form was causing issues and pain. If you're looking to take your game to the next level it is worth every penny. Performance aside he's a really stand up dude and you can tell he's passionate about his trade. 5 stars -no hesitation! read more

Dr. Hamidi is gifted and I feel safe with him every time even though I REALLY don't care for the neck release. He listens, identifies the cause and gives me to-do exercises to keep myself adjusted longer. Highly recommend him. read more

I was suffering from terrible TMJ pain for 6 months. I could barely eat, woke up with severe pain on the side of my face, and suffered from constant headaches. I went to dentists, physical therapists, massage therapists, and no one was able to help me. I was taking anti-inflammatory meds every single day to help with pain. I came to Dr. Hamidi's office and after the first session, I felt a significant difference in my jaw. After about a month of sessions, my pain was completely gone. I had really given up hope and assumed I'd be living with this pain every day. I am just happy to be back to normal! I highly recommend Dr. Hamidi, especially if you suffer from TMJ issues. read more

I moved from LA to DC about a year ago. I got a really bad backache, so I tried many chiropractors in DC, but none of them could really help me. That is, until I found Dr. Hamidi. Before him I thought we don't have good chiropractors in the DC area. He is really good. He spends at least 30-45 minutes on his patients and tries to explain the problem and how he will work on it and what exercises that you can do to get better. read more

Dr. Hamidi is fantastic! After years of poor posture due to slumping over a laptop and travel, I developed debilitating neck and shoulder pain. I had never visited a chiropractor before and made an appointment with Dr. Hamidi on the advice of a friend. I can't believe I waited so long to see him! Dr. Hamidi thoroughly explained how chiropractry works and how it would alleviate my pain. With all my questions answered, Dr. Hamidi then performed my adjustments-after months of pain, I had INSTANT relief! Dr. Hamidi recommended a treatment plan, which I followed, and now I'm pain free. I had suffered an extensive car accident in 2007 and I travel for my job in many states, including Alexandria, VA. In order for me to operate at my fullest capacity in the healthcare industry; I need to have regular chiropractic adjustments. Finding the perfect fit while moving to different states can be challenging. When I visited Skyline Wellness Center in Alexandria, VA and had my first appointment with Dr. Hamidi, I was certainly impressed with his knowledge and techniques. Having experienced many chiropractors in the past 8 yrs, he is by far the "Best" chiropractor I have been to, His disposition and patience calm you immediately when you enter his office. He is very attentive to your needs and spends all the time you need, giving you that special attention we all seek today. I always leave feeling better than when I entered his office. On a side note...he has a great sense of humor, making you feel great as well his laughter and great smile! Would I highly recommend Dr. Hooman Hamidi, YES!!! most definitely! read more

If you are looking for an attentive, intuitive and highly effective Chiropractor, Dr. Hamidi is the way to go! Being a part of the medical field, I can safely say Dr. Hamidi is awesome on a professional and knowledge base level. He came highly recommended to me by my sister who suffers from chronic neck pain and painful knots in her back. My family had been going to a chiropractor previously who would dismiss our concerns and actually put me off going to the chiropractor in general. After my sister went to visit him, I heard nothing but praise, and her back and neck were greatly improved after only a few visits...So I finally visited myself and have never looked back. I suffer from migraines and his adjustments have virtually eliminated my need for any type of pharmacologic management; none of which my previous chiropractors ever even mentioned was possible. I don't go out of my way to write reviews unless I get exceptional service, and this guy definitely deserved acknowledgment. read more

He pays close attention to every problem I have addressed about my lower back, neck area & migraines, than he put a effective 4 week plan in place to correct my issues in order to get me feeling great again. Not only did his 4 week plan work but it was amazing to see the before and after pictures of the alignment and corrections that were made to my spine and posture. I have been seeing Dr. Hamidi for several months now and not only do I feel GREAT but I have noticed a significant difference in my overall movement, & energy. He has helped minimize my migraines, & in addition, he has given me several exercise regimens that I can do at home to relieve pain! Overall, I can go on and on about how amazing Dr. Hamidi is but bottom line, he is very effective & he has made a difference to the quality of my life! I hope everyone who reading this thats looking for pain relief will set up an appointment so you can feel as great as I do. The best part about seeing Dr. Hamidi is that his office takes several insurance companies which is hard to find these days.
