First, let me say that the Corque ( pronounced 'cork' ) Hotel has great curb appeal and is situated in a lovely location ! The charming, yet stately brick design adds such character to the outside, but while you step inside, the open and captivating lobby is so inviting with plenty of comfortable seating and a cozy fireplace ! It offers ample free parking surrounding the establishment, Bell service if desired, and free cool refreshments ! Hotel staff are friendly, helpful, and available to assist with any needs one may have. The elevators are always ready for you and the rooms are a just a short walk. Our accommodations were beautiful and spacious allowing for places to hold luggage, stow your belongings, or just relax after a busy day of exploring Solvang. The neighboring restaurant, "The Craft House at Corque" offers room service, as well! The bathroom offered plenty of space to move around along with nice amenities. We also loved the water pressure in the sinks and wide shower which was nice and quite strong. Our bed was firm, yet comfortable with fluffy pillows and comfy blankets ! Room decor was updated and blended nicely with Solvang's Danish style and relaxing energy ! Their pool / hot tub area was neat and clean, while the water was clear, warm, and welcoming. Additionally, the town shops, restaurants, bakeries, along with the Santa Inés Old Mission are just a short stroll away. Considering the location and time of year, our stay was also priced quite reasonably. Just as a side note, this is a Marriott boutique hotel and is part of the Bonvoy Tribute Portfolio. Overall, this is really one of the nicest and most satisfying hotel stays I have had in quite a long time. We will definitely be returning for our next vacation. Cheers !

We enjoyed this hotel. The service was nice. The decorations was on point. It was nice that they offered a map with a list of places to eat/visit/play. One star knocked off because we did book two rooms and we asked for late check out. They confirmed late check out but only allowed for one room but we were not aware of this. I feel like it should be assumed since they are conjoining rooms and it was opened.

We had an amazing stay here to cap off an interesting weekend that involved our flight getting cancelled due to a big Texas winter storm earlier this year. We were driving down from San Francisco and needed somewhere to stay for a few days to get some remote work done and we found the quaint town of Solvang to stay in and booked this hotel very last minute. We came in late at night and the hotel staff were superb in helping us and were incredibly friendly. We had a nice quiet room at the end of the hall that was very comfortable and modern. Especially for a great price and for being a part of Mariott Bonvoy! There were some really nice perks of this hotel that I haven't seen at others and found online very quickly. Being able to walk around the town of Solvang to get some Aableskiver in the morning and explore the restaurants and beer gardens was great. The complimentary wine tasting at Gainey Vineyards and complimentary access to the local YMCA for a morning workout were also really nice. When we left, one of the workers, I forget the lad's name, was incredibly nice in helping us with our luggage and getting our car loaded. Everything was great about our stay here and it's definitely convinced me to come back out to Solvang and the Corque Hotel again

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, my stay at Corque Hotel felt absolutely magical. We visited during Julefest in Solvang, and the lobby immediately set the tone -- especially the large, real gingerbread house displayed right in the center. It was such a warm, festive welcome and a perfect reminder of how powerful a first impression can be. The staff truly elevated the experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Since this was our first time in Solvang, they were especially helpful with recommendations and local tips, which made us feel genuinely cared for, not just checked in. One of my favorite little touches was the flavored water station in the lobby -- the cinnamon water was such a cozy, thoughtful detail and perfectly matched the holiday atmosphere. And then there was the room -- the real star of the show. It was immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and featured modern upgrades that made the stay feel both comfortable and upscale. There is a clear reason this hotel holds a four-star reputation. The on-site restaurant was also outstanding and clearly not an afterthought. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On top of that, the hotel's holiday cocktail bar experience felt like stepping straight into a classic Christmas movie -- festive, immersive, and full of nostalgic charm, like a 90s holiday film brought to life. This stay exceeded every expectation. We will absolutely be back -- Corque Hotel has earned lifelong fans.

Such a beautiful hotel in the BEST location. Everything felt so nice and new, high quality, outstanding service, it really doesn't get any better. The room was spacious, clean and charming. We sat by the pool on our first day and got brought water bottles and popsicles. Top notch service. I would definitely come back again.

2 queen bed, had a city view overlooking parking lot and town.

Beautiful hotel! Solvang is such a cute, quiet town. We had a 2 queen bedroom with city view. My expectations were definitely exceeded! Funny enough, my favorite part was the gorgeous bathroom. Plus our windows opened up so you could look out. Beds were super comfortable, quiet in the hotel too, I didn't hear anyone else outside the rooms or next door. Staff were all very nice. The pool and hot tub were great, nice size. Hotel was in a great spot in town with lots of shops within walking distance. I can't wait to come back!

Had a wonderful one night stay at Corque Hotel with zero things I'd want to change, such a great stay in Solvang. The hotel is perfectly located, somehow quiet despite being right in the heart of Solvang. Everything was perfectly clean, from the lobby to the room, to the bathroom in the lobby. Staff is incredibly welcoming; always greeting you with a smile and rushing to open the lobby doors. The hotel is modernly and beautifully decorated for the holidays (ornaments, a giant gingerbread house, and a menorah) and an assortment of infused water is available in the lobby. Parking is free and easy, WiFi is easily available, and the hotel provides you with a very helpful map as well as a list of wineries where, as a guest of the hotel, you can either get free tastings or 2 for 1 tastings. Loved the stay!

When you combine the two, I'm sure the maintenance of the facilities is quite the task. The checkin was through Cloud beds, which meant there was absolutely no personal contact whatsoever. I checked in via a link, was given a code and viola. The motel has gone through some cosmetic restoration, but I'm not sure it's enough for a 5 star recommendation. The tub was chipped, the paint was chipped in several places and we could hear every step from our upstairs neighbors (well placed rugs or carpet may have been helpful). I am going to let you in on a little secret…read more... Yeah, I'm going to share with you what i THINK is the best kind of getaway, well, at least in my humble opinion. It's the kind that doesn't abruptly end, but it just sort of.... keeps on going. Let me explain. Have you ever gone on vacation and said to yourself, or to your spouse or even to your kids.... "Gee, I could have really used one more night" Or Let out the exaggerated (Ughh)... "I don't want to go back to work tomorrow, I wish we could just extend our trip by just one more day" Well... On a recent trip with my family, We INTENTIONALLY did just that. My wife booked us a 2 night stay in Paso Robles at a beautiful boutique style/chain hotel. (The Ava Hotel in Paso) (Check out my review for the deets) Usually, when we do these short, weekend trips, I work up until the day of our trip and then go back the very next day once we return... But, NOT THIS TIME! Yeah, This time, my wife intentionally told me, let's book one more night on the way home from our trip in Paso just to break up the drive home and enjoy one more day off of work and time with the fam. Heck, I've got loads of PTO and who wants to be at work anyway, so it wasn't too hard to twist my arm on this one. And just like that.... Solvang, Here we Come! Yes, the cute, quaint town of Solvang is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway or even just for a one night stay like we did. Of course, my wife, the Queen of finding the best places to stay/eat... (AND I AM THE ONE WHO IS THE "ELITE" haha) booked us a room at the Landsby hotel and it was nothing short of a treat. Here's why: The Landsby is more than just a room... Inside of a hotel... Located in the heart of this Danish town known as: SOLVANG It wasn't just, "let's build a hotel where the people can stay and explore the town while they are here". At least that's not the impression it gave me! Instead, The Landsby has a Charm about, it has Character and most of all it gives you the impression that you are in a modern-day Dutch village. But one of my favorite parts.... The Room Key, keyword, "KEY" Yeah! The room key is an actual Key!!! A metal, lock and key, just like the good 'ol days! Ain't no digital, pre-programmed, modern day, technologically advanced system like every other hotel does it.... And I liked it! And to match the old school style key... The t.v is in black and white, the internet is run on dial up and the telephone is a rotary dial..... JUST KIDDING!!!! But wouldn't that be cool! Aside from the small town European vibe that the exterior of the building gives you, once you step inside both the hotel and then your room, you are immediately transported to a place that feels welcoming, familiar and most of all comfortable. Because this was a short stay (just a one nighter) we didn't take advantage of the amenities like we normally do, but next time we will. A lobby bar (our favorite place to check out), an onsite restaurant (Mad & Vin which loos really good), an outdoor courtyard to sit and relax, and complimentary cruiser bikes to explore the town. The Landsby is Pet friendly, so definitely check out their webpage for details for your furry friends. So....... Now that I've let you in on my little secret, I don't want you to keep it that way! Spread the word! Pass it along! Tell a friend! Come check out the Landsby in Solvang!!

I advised them I had already prepaid. They advised me they would release hold in 2-3 days. I called the 3rd party to advise the above. They called Winston staff as they shortly after sent me a text. I do believe Winston was in error to charge me while I had already paid the 3rd party. The funds were released the next day. Keep an eye on credit card notifications if stay here. Other than the above issue and Check in service I would stay here again. The room was comfortable with the exception of the balcony door not locking.

We also had to specifically request the breakfast and 2-for-1 wine tasting coupons advertised. That said, each time someone helpfully turned up (or offered to do so). But each time it also felt like the bare minimum (how many towels do you want; how many coffee packets?) We only got to enjoy it for about an hour before it was shut off at 10 pm. It would have been better if we were told to go down earlier or given an option to reserve instead of being told to wait. It was really cold and we ended up waiting outside, which took away from the experience. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub while we waited in the cold. But overall, would stay again.
