Bought a classic cut branch stem pruner and it works great. Chose it over the competition COMPLETELY because of the packaging which is all corrugated cardboard - just a very small piece of plastic over the blade. Very environmentally conscious. The worst online customer experience. And their heavy duty weeding tool is worthless.

I waited for a year to get the Corona crack weeder as it was out of stock. But I had to buy $100 worth of items to avoid the $13 or so shipping fee. When I got the items last Friday 4/4/25 I was disappointed to find that the crack weeder looks like a used item: it has scratches on both sides of the blade, a mark on the handle and dark spots on the handle which looks like touched by dirty hands. I used to have a good image of Corona as I have some of their sharpening tools. But I am really disgusted about getting a used item. I think they do not give consideration to their customers. The other items look fine but they are all made in China so there is really no need to overcharge before tariffs hit. I used the stirrup hoe, the weeder and the kneeler. 4/7/25 I called the company and was told they would take 3 weeks to review the emails and will get back to me. 4/8/25 I received email from the company they will ship me a replacement before end of the week. 4/10/25 I got my new crack weeder, surprised. I actually used the other weeder 4/10/25 to test it out. For larger crevices the weeder was quite efficient to pull the weeds out, depending what kind of weeds. But when it comes to narrow crevices, the blade got stuck in the cracks and needed some struggle to pull it out. I was able to clear out 2 driveway crevices. So I will just take my time a few crevices at a time. The long blade seems to prevent bending which is what I need. So I upgraded the company to 4 stars. read more

I can confirm these guys do not stand behind their tools. I bought their hand saw, used it 4-5 times, it looked brand new but it then snapped while I was using it on a 1 inch branch, no knot or anything. I'd give these guys no stars if I could. I bought one of their extendable hedge trimmers, used it maybe 3-4 times, and it broke. Not fixable and I no longer had the receipt. ACE hardware wouldn't take it back and I can't get any response from the company despite their so-called fancy 'warranty'. They clearly don't stand behind their products. They did a great job on sharpening all my knives. I've had these knives for 10 years and never sharpened them. I tried to do it myself with a little hand sharpener. That did not work well. Now my knives work great. read more

While they spend lots of money stating how great their products are and bragging their products come with a "Lifetime Warranty" . In reality they do NOT have a lifetime warranty. The warranty ends whenever they feel it does. We had pruning tool knife sharpener we used 5 times, then it broke. We still had original package as it was not used much. It stated in big words lifetime warranty. On front and back. They they said it no longer had a warranty. This is not the 1st time having a problem with this company. Their hand held pruners constantly have problem with the clip that holds the handles together when not in use. They keep breaking or falling off due to poor design. We decided to try Corona tools to supply our professional pruning company and contacted the sales department, who recommended some products and guaranteed us a lower price for a first bulk order of 50 items. Not only did most break within three weeks, but we also saw that we could have purchased the tools for cheaper on Amazon. When we contacted the company about having potentially received a bad batch, they were extremely unhelpful and provided bad customer service. We will not be buying from them again, and are telling our customers to avoid this company as well. read more

A Corona pole pruner I've had for several years broke (the head casting snapped). I contacted Corona and was told to send a picture of the broken part, which I did, not expecting much since it was a few years old. Today a brand new 14 ft.pruner arrived at my door.. I had a Corona tree pruner that I had dropped under the tree and the metal head snapped in half. We needed to finish pruning the tree so my husband went to get another one. They didn't carry the Corona brand so we got what they had. Although it is lighter weight, the mechanism didn't seem as smooth and I figure it would not last as long. Being my fault that I dropped the original, I was not sure the warranty would cover but, since it was metal and should not break, I asked anyway. It should be no surprise but Corona stands behind their products. I own quite a few of their products and needed warranty parts or replacement when one of them that I have had for quite a few years broke. Fill out an online form upload a couple pics and within 48 hours they are shipping a replacement. Great customer service from a brand that I trust even more now. read more
