I took my horse trailer to get the wiring fixed. It has been sitting for a while and needed to be fixed. T & T had it Tuesday afternoon(they do not start working until 4pm), Wednesday and Thursday and told me it would need to stay the weekend to get a couple more days to figure out the problem. Every time I talked to the owner there were more and more things wrong with it. They said the brake was cracked in 3 places, the welds on the bottom of the trailer were broken, the wiring needed to be completely pulled and redone. They couldn't figure out the 6 pin plug so they switched it to an RV plug. I went and picked it up tonight because I had a gut feeling this was going to end up being a tsunami of cost with all the things they were saying was wrong with the trailer. This is a 4 horse HART aluminum trailer. Only used for gymkhana's a couple mile from home for a couple of years. It came home tonight, way worse than it was taking to them. They charged me $1050 - $250 for each side of the trailer to repack wheel bearings. And $600 for their diagnostic of all of the horrible problems they kept finding. They fixed nothing on the electrical except to switch the plug so the brakes on the trailer stuck and I could move the trailer with their plug hooked to my truck. This was an absolute nightmare. I used to go to T & T to get all my maintenance done. I did not know it was sold. I wish I has known. I am so glad I got it out of there before the could charge me even more. Oh, and the owner kept telling me he had picture of all the problems they found but showed me NONE of them. read more

This is my experience @ T&T welding on 10/18/2024 I paid $150 to get my High pressure hydraulic steel line repaired, Scott said it was no problem and he will get the job done. Worst welding shop ever!! They did work and it was not correct.. They would not make it right or give me a refund I had to pay another welder to correct the half a$$ job they did!! On top of that they wouldn't answer the phone had to keep driving over to the shop because they don't ever answer the phone. The entire shop and office are dirty, unorganized, and trash everywhere. will definitely not go to them ever again. read more

I brought my jeep there to have a steering stabilizer bracket welded on to replace other. I was called and told my jeep was ready, I got there and saw my 35" tire leaning against the wall, welder said " aI need to extend your steering stabilizer because it now didn't reach the bracket, so he extended it about an inch and a half. I drove home, you know when you have an earache and your equilibrium feels off, will that's how my jeep felt. Number one the "jeep" on my steering wheel was upside down, then my neighbor pointed out that the space between the inner tire and body, on one side was 8"", on the other about 3". They lifted my jeep on one side, instead of the center, and the jeep body shifted over, and they sent it out like that, I fixed it, went there and explained what happened, nicely, and left. A half year later I was notified that my jeep was sold to me not notifying me of an accident, I couldn't find receipts for repairs, and was told the repair shop is required to keep receipts for four years, I went to T&T to ask for a copy, and was giving some bullshit answers, the little dark haired dude is a prick, once he has your money, that's it So, beware. read more

Very poorly awful work. Took trailer in for aged rust they didn't remove all the rust from trailer still leaks didn't weld anything at all ' used screws that are way to long ' hazardous to horses heads when hauling' the seal they used is nothing but sticky tape which in a few yrs overtime will crack off . Took it there for welding not metal straps to be screwed and tape for a sealer . They had for 3 1/2 months and it looks like this read more

Had emergency need for my horse trailer. Can't say enough about how they had us back on the road in record time.

I needed a subframe lift done on my fifth wheel in order to level it out with the new tow vehicle. I called around to many RV dealers and service centers, but most seemed very lackadaisical and seemed unsure as to what I wanted even though I thoroughly explained myself. The ones I did find, wanted my first born in exchange for the job. I came across Zach and his crew at T and T after doing a Yelp search. I spoke to him on the phone and he was right on. He knew immediately what I wanted, specialized in welding, had been in business a long time, and most importantly, he's done tons of these modifications. You don't find shops like these anymore. They said they have the precision tools for the job to make the sale. Then destroyed my expensive product leaving them useless and unfixable and said they really don't have precision tools. Carelessly damaged my product. Shockingly careless! Even smashed areas they didn't work on in a way that makes the whole thing absolutely useless. Bent and crooked everywhere in different directions making it nonfunctional. Seriously off square. Also painted, without my permission, certain areas with very thick paint to cover up their work. The materials are destroyed which I had to replace with my own money. read more

Spoke with Doug 3 weeks ago and he said he would draw a design and put together an estimate, expect a 2 week wait and 3 days in shop. I hadn't heard anything so I stopped by this morning and he lost the paperwork, said he would call within the hour. Doug and Charlie did an Awesome job on my leaky horse trailer! They fixed the leaks before the big rains expected this week and did a safety check which turned up some electrical problems and leaking valves. They also welded the loose window grating. I brought my tow dolly in to get repaired one place, they sent it to T&T Welding because they couldn't do the work on November 1st and made it clear that I'm leaving town on the 10th. They were closed the 9th and 10th. I called when they opened on the 11th to come pick it up. They hadn't even looked at it yet and the owner, Doug Farren, said they would get to it today. Rebuttal to T & T Welding 01-28-2019 Doug was asked to replace actuator instead of rebuilding unit. Doug claimed he could rebuild it instead, because TYE Down Engineering was out of business. After his rebuild it leaked oil, ball latch would not lock and numerous times of asking him to fix these issues he kept stalling to bring it back. I have receipts that show how many times it came back and the amount of time work was stalled to meet Doug's schedule. I am still most disappointed in the fact that they stalled me in the repairs and then even after scheduling this trailer back in for repair they called after it was scheduled to cancel to work on this trailer again. I considered Doug a good person, that is why I choose him to do the work. I never complained about the cost of repairs or all the time he stalled this repair. This is not even mine, I did it to help a friend and I thought Doug would do the job correct. Doug reminds me of somebody who likes quick jobs with quick money, but the minute his shortcut doesn't work out he is ready to abandon a job, and blame you for his failures. read more

The bottom of the fire pot in my pellet stove suddenly dropped out this morning. I couldn't find a store which had a replacement so I looked for a welder. I knew it wouldn't be a big job so I wanted a welding shop that I could go to so I wouldn't have to pay for a portable welder to come out as I live in a rural area. I found T & T and spoke with Doug, he told me to come over at anytime. When I got there he said he could do it so I went shopping for a little while, and sure enough, when I got back it was ready. I dropped off a drill press table with Zack five weeks ago. He told me they were backed up and it may be a week. I called him a week and a half later and he said it was still on his supervisors desk. Five weeks later I come into pick it up and nothing has been done. I have a deadline to get the finished press to my customer in a week. What a way to do business! I figured this behavior also reflects the quality of their work. I picked the table up and dropped it off with another welder who says he will have it ready in two days.
