My trailer originally didn't have brakes, and I thought it would be a simple project--but I was completely wrong. I found this company on Google, gave them a call, and just three days later they came out to do the installation. My first impression was excellent. They were friendly, professional, and even cracked a few jokes while explaining exactly what they were going to do and how long the job would take. Their work truck was clean, they were well-organized, and all three technicians were professional and respectful. I left them working in my garage while I went to work, and when I came home a few hours later, everything was finished. The installation was outstanding. My garage was spotless, the brake system looked professionally installed, and all the wiring was neatly hidden inside the trailer frame instead of hanging underneath. The attention to detail really stood out. I've already put a few hundred miles on the trailer and launched my boat several times, and everything has worked flawlessly. Well my wheels didn't have nearly enough grease from the factory so it's good I had them come by, they replaced bearings and adjusted brakes, I'm confident in their work and know I'm safe on the road. I called Sicard Trailer Service and was told I could bring it in immediately. I received a call a few hours later saying the trailer was ready. Turns out the brakes had not been adjusted properly by the axle manufacturer. When I picked up the trailer the brake operation was thoroughly explained and the cost was reasonable for this last minute work. I found everyone to be professional, friendly, and patient with all my questions. When we picked it up we noted damage to our rear bumper caused during the repair. They did take care of that, AFTER we provided photos of when we dropped it off, clearly proving the damage occurred during the repair. Other than that, I will say the segment replacement appeared professional. D&D also quoted a price for battery and other electrical upgrades, which was more than a dealer quote and more than MEL Trailer in Placentia, where we ultimately got the upgrades done. In the Inland Empire, I would be inclined to take our rig to the dealer in Temecula.
