Once I was fairly certain I wanted Gearspeed to perform the work, I had a ton of questions about the setup I wanted to have, and was open to their recommendations too. They were great about answering all my questions and concerns and did so pretty quickly. I then set an appointment to drop the car off. Work done: trans inspection/rebuild, carbon fiber synchros, 5.3 final drive, LSD, taller 5th and 6th gear, new CSC, reman starter, Exedy stage 1 clutch and lightweight flywheel. I provided some of the parts which they didn't have an issue with. The work performed was top notch and their communication with me during the time they had my car was great. There was a few unexpected things during the removal/install that they let me know of, for example my engine mounts were bad, and of course offered to installed new ones. Turnaround time was great and was about what I expected, considering this is a pretty labor intensive job. Being in SoCal we're pretty lucky to have a lot of great shops in the area. I'm sure there are other shops that do great work like Gearspeed. Aside from the excellent work they do, the thing with Gearspeed that also sets them apart from the rest is their level of care and communication, which is very, very good... something I have not witnessed at a shop in a while.

Remodeled the bathroom with new toilet, removed bathtub and replaced with shower surround and glass door. Installed a residential size refrigerator and inverter so we don't have to use propane. Bodywork done on front and back of coach. Matched paint perfectly! Our service writer, Donald, was amazing! He communicated with us throughout the entire process. Lets start of with R&R Products out of Riverside,Ca. Where do I start. Maybe I'll start with how…read morethis company lies to you. They tell you one thing then don't deliver what they promise. Put you off for months after they have your money. The daughter is something else. She will go on her dads messenger and send you messages. You think you are talking to Randy but its the daughter. You never know who you are talking to unless you are one the phone. The doors fit like crap had to send them back. They promised to come bring me another door and never came through. I spent 2 days trying to get the door to align but I couldn't. Even had a friend come over to help and it just wasn't working. So I said enough is enough and sent the doors back and had to file a claim with my credit card company cause they refused to refund me my money. Credit card company took care of that and I was awarded my money back. Oh so when we went to go pick up the doors they had to put them together for us while we waited. The daughter had the nerve to tell me they test fit every single door before it goes out. That is just straight bullshit lies. We were there when they put them together and I need saw it go on a car. Plus what company does that. Build it right and there will be no need to test fit. The fitment on the doors is crap. The bottom frame of the door is so close to the frame that it rubs when you get it adjusted right. Luckily I took mine off quick. My friend he kept his on cause he said they were ok. But now he regrets putting them crappy doors on. They rubbed on his frame cause it to wear away the powder coating. There is no need to have the door framing that close. What else is there. Im just rambling and typing stuff as it comes to mind. Oh I had bought a cage and when we went down to pick the up I saw a x3 with a clear roof on top. I really liked it. He said I could switch it out if I wanted to. So after a week I ask him if I can take him up on his offer. He said yes. So I told him we also wanted 2 sets of doors. So when we go down there to pick up the doors he showed me my cage being ready for powder coat. He said it would be done Wednesday and that he promised that they would meet me half way and we would switch cages. Well a week goes by no answer about my cage that I was supposed to have 2 days after I picked up my doors. Well another week goes by and NO Randy. So 2 weeks later they call and say they will switch it out and not charge me. I told them I am done with your company and all the lies. I gave them plenty of chances to make it right and they failed to do that. I already put the other cage on and didn't want anything to do with them anymore. The daughter needs to grow up and act like a business person. I make a comment of Facebook about their products and she goes and puts a laughing face reply. Why would you do that. So now I will work on my photo album to show everyone what they might get if they buy one of their products and the lip service they will get. Here is some rust on their cage. They didn't even powder coat this section. It will be sanded and fixed but this is what you can look forward to. Buyer beware company for sure. You can also read their Facebook comments. Im not the only one that has experienced this type of issue. Im tired of seeing everyone get burnt by these companies. We need to know who does bad business. They are taking the money that the average person works real hard for and taking it and we get shit and shit service in return.
