The pool was calming and had a beautiful view but the water was cold, we did get to use the corolla light amenities when we were at the inn. I think this place is a place to explore corolla and not just be in your room. Overall it was a good time, everywhere was pretty close. Best for 2 to 3 people and good for couple.

The listing was inaccurate, and several amenities that were clearly advertised were either broken or not available at all. Some bathrooms didn't even have basic supplies like toilet paper. One shower had such low water pressure it was completely unusable. The dishwasher was broken for the entire week, which meant hand-washing dishes for 14 guests, three meals a day, for seven days. That is not what anyone signs up for on vacation. The house itself was not properly cleaned. There were cobwebs on multiple surfaces, visible rust throughout, and an overall neglected feel. For the price we paid, the condition of the property was unacceptable. Customer service was effectively nonexistent. We reported the issues, and nothing meaningful was done to resolve them during our stay. There was no urgency, no accountability, and no effort to make things right. Also worth noting: reviews appear to be filtered, showing only glowing feedback. Based on our experience, you are not getting the full picture when you read the listings. For the amount of money these homes command, expectations should be much higher. We would strongly recommend considering another rental company. You've been warned. Terrible consistent reviews on TrustPilot, Yelp and many other pages. The feeling is clearly unanimous and Twiddy clearly does not care.

We called multiple times and someone did come out, but the guy told us the owners needs to have the sewage cleaned more often and it's never done. This happened 3 different times while we were there. I expected a call from someone , anyone, to follow up.... I even messaged a requested a call from management multiple times ... was told they would call me, but after multiple excuses over a week passed and I never received a call . I did get a text saying they'd refund us $500 which is nothing in comparison to what we paid and the disgusting issues we had to deal with .

They charged me 10% of my total bill $803. That's some "booking fee" for them considering the house was only off the market 6 weeks one year in advance.

If you're going to require your guests to "...gather all dirty dishes and run them through the dishwasher," then you need to supply dishwasher soap. If you ask your guests to "wipe down the stove and oven daily..." you ought to provide some type of cleaner. Sheets and blankets had holes in them. Most of the blankets had people and animal hair on them and stunk. When we went to wash the blankets the washer turn knob came right off making the washer un-usable. Bathrooms were dingy and dirty. We weren't allowed to put the thermostat lower than 72 degrees which means there was likely something wrong with their system but they don't want to get it fixed. Many of the outside lounge chairs were cracked. The whole experience was disappointing to say the least. We'll be avoiding this home in the future.

Floors still had sand on them on our first night. We had to mop and clean before we could stay in the downstairs area. It stunk. The air filter in the downstair area had not been change in at least a year. It was so filthy that my daughter and I both suffered allergy attacks from breathing the dust and pollen from that dirty filter. I called the company and they did not send anyone out to change the filters. I had to go to Ace Hardware and by a replacement filter because we could not sleep there all week with the one they had in there. The blind on my mother and sister room was missing. We called and they never came to replace it. The kitchen was too small and inadequate for more than 5 people to stay in. The beds are too old and need to be replaced. The washing machine and dryer work but they at so loud you can hear them all over the house. The only good thing was the pool service person. They did their job. We paid a lot of money to stay here but will never make that mistake again. If the people that own this house are paying someone to maintain it and keep it up they are getting ripped off. If the people who own this house are the ones doing the maintenance they should be ashamed of renting this to anyone. It is awful and I will never stay here again.

Loved having the pool and hot tub in the back yard with the privacy fence. We did have trouble getting the showers to work as we had never encountered this type before but we called and the owner called us back and walked us through it. We felt super silly but glad to have some help. The house is only a 5 or so minute walk to the beach which was great! They also provide some beach chairs and sand toys to take to the beach and bring back. We did bring our own pool floats though. The only think is I wish the pool were bigger.
