It was early Saturday morning and I had just done my food shopping and was in need of coffee, and wanted to try a new place and CoRo came up. I ordered the cafe con Miel to go, and a gingerbread cookie. I quickly wished I didn't have groceries in my car because the outdoor and indoor space are so lovely and the cups they use for customers who are staying were very pretty (what a silly thing to note, but they really are beautiful!) More to the point, the cafe con Miel was delicious - not too sweet, but just the perfect hint of it and the gingerbread cookie was perfection. Can't wait to come back! read more

What a gem! Fantastic coffee and tons of space for studying I loved the layout of the shop, there really was no bad place to sit. One side of the shop bathes in natural light from the street-facing windows, while the other side offers a captivating view of the roasting factory through a massive window. It was a very calming place to sit and get work done. There were also lots of outlets along the back wall which is something I need at a coffee shop. I witnessed a group getting a tour of the roasting area, which struck me as a fascinating and engaging experience. CoRo's openness and warmth in sharing their production process truly impressed me The sesame latte was fantastic and very strong. While some sesame lattes tend to lean towards the dessert realm, resembling more of an indulgent ice cream treat, this one beautifully maintained its coffee character. CoRo boasts an extensive selection of hipster coffee beans available for purchase near the front counter, making it an ideal destination for coffee enthusiasts seeking a unique and captivating experience. We came here around this area, and my hubby happened to find this coffee place. So we give it a try as I always wanted to try the places where can serve me pretty latte art if possible. The staffs are very nice and attentive. We requested latte in a ceramic cup. Their coffee is very smooth and not overly strong. We really like it. While taking photos at Coro Coffee Room today, a barista told me that: "You can't take photos here, you have to ask us!" Her attitude was rude. There is no sign say you can't take photos inside and I went to many coffee shops never see this policy! I love their cute cups, the latte arts are also surprisingly great, prolly the prettiest latte I've had so far in the Bay Area. The rosemary latte and chai latte were both really tasty too, the herb taste of the rosemary blende so well with espresso and the milk. Also their quiche was soooo delicious too. Only downside was that it was super cold inside, the door was open and there's no heater inside, so I had to move to another place to keep warm. read more

New workspace alert! I came here for a co-working session and fell in love with the vibes. On the inside, there are huge glass windows that look into the roastery operations, which is super neat. It's a smaller space but feels quite open and bright. There are a few small tables to work from. I dig the light-colored woods and build materials. The staff was friendly and I really enjoyed the chai tea. There also sell misc baked goods and pastries. Wifi was fast enough to get work done. Bonus points for being RIGHT next door to a wonderful pizza spot, so get your coffee, get some work done and then reward yourself with a pie. read more

This was my go to coffee spot for the longest time. Coffee is strong, espresso drinks perfectly crafted, and I love watching the beans being roasted in the background. I always come here for a few hours of productive studying. It's a great environment for that. I am knocking down a star because of the staff being passive aggressive/ rude on a recent trip there. I was studying and overheard staff loudly complaining how people take up tables for hours studying and treat the place like a library. This was super disheartening to hear as a long time supporter of this place. I no longer feel welcome coming in here and will sadly be taking a break :( I hope they can find a balance or implement a policy if thats the problem (I've been here over a dozen times and there's always a table for someone) instead of complaining in front of their customers. read more

Price point is a little high, but I think it includes tip (?) and honestly the quality is so good that it's worth it to me. I also tried their pesto toast and thought it was pretty good. While this can add to the unique ambience of the cafe, it felt out of place on a Monday afternoon when most people were there working or relaxing. I've seen some reviews here stating that their matcha doesn't really have flavor but to be honest, matcha is usually a subtle flavor and not over powering. We were in the area and found this place on yelp. There's street parking but it's free. The place looks small outside but once you get inside there's high ceilings and a lot of tables. There's a lot of options and they show where they source their beans. They give you the coffee in these cute little cups. The service was fast we didn't wait long. There coffee is very strong. Can I give 6 stars? I had single origin espresso for myself and hot chocolate for my daughter. She described her drink as amazingly chocolate tasting and didn't feel like syrup based at all. It felt like real chocolate and she loved her drink. It had beautiful late art on it even as it was made with almond milk. The espresso was amazingly refreshing and has dynamic taste that I get very rarely. It had amazing balance of fruity and floral tastes, but also lots of depth and nuances. Pure joy to drink!
