Roaming Bean Coffee has coffee stand located inside a freight container in the Berkeley Marina for nearly 2 years. Heard about them from Nosh in their nominations for best coffee shop. Intringed, I sought them out. They're located where Cal Sailing Club is supposed to be on weekends. Saw signs in a parking lot nearby. Saw a line. Got into it. Minutes later, ordered a drink, got it quickly. Offerings: espressos, more brews, add ons, kids drinks, seasonal drinks, classics. Sips: espresso (3.50) one shot -straight black. Wanted to taste it naturally without added water, milk, sugar... -bold, smooth, strong. What I like in a dark roast. Definitely gave me a buzz. -Hearsay they roast their own beans also. -just one table for sitting. Parking lot isn't that big. Site is nearby an eatery on either side of the road. 5 stars Worthy! Such a cute coffee stand at the waterfront. The service was amazing and the employees had great recommendations for walking routes and restaurants. A great view of the water at Berkeley Marina why not have Roaming Bean Coffee. I have seen an advertisement for this business on Instagram, and I don't work far from their location, so I thought I would give them a try, and I did not regret coming by. It has been a year since their business has started, and it has attracted people passing by while walking along the marina. Why not get coffee while doing your daily walk. The owner of Roamijg Bean Coffee is nice. Him and I started a conversation in which he thought I worked for Off The Grid because I had my sweater on. I just informed him that I work off Gilman St, which isn't far from University Ave. I had the Hot Chocolate since it is cold in the morning and I got there exactly when he open up his business for the day. The taste of my drink was satisfying. I love the design on my drink. If you are along the marina in the morning come stop by Roaming Bean Coffee. They are open 8am-3pm. read more

The barista is amazing, the quality is pristine and even though I'm usually a black coffee girl their unique, organic and homemade lattes and creations are soo yummy I still try them! The coffee is delicious and the owner has great taste in music and is very fun to chat with. He also actually makes a dry cappuccino correctly which seems like a lost art. read more

Omg, literally THE only thing Berkeley Marina was missing! Best Vanilla Latte EVER. I've gone two weekends now to go for a 'walk' so I can have my vanilla latte fix! Super friendly barista and he was telling me that they make their own Vanilla Syrup with fair trade organic vanilla beans!!!!!! The latte is perfect not overly sweet at all, leaves a great taste in your mouth. The views of Berkeley marina are always the best, been going there for over 10 years for walking, relaxing , breathing and just being.
