What a welcome break after so many heavy, bland meals! I tried the Lunch Special, which comes with soup, bread, and your choice of three salads. It was so generously portioned I couldn't even finish it. As someone who usually eats meat, I was surprised by how satisfying it was. Every bite was bright and flavorful. The baby potato salad with walnuts and garlic mayo was luxuriously creamy; you'd never guess it was vegan. The bulgur tabbouleh was fresh and zesty, with just the right balance of herbs. My top pick was the broccoli salad: vegan feta, sliced almonds, chilis, and fresh herbs created a perfect mix of textures and tastes. I couldn't put my fork down! It was all so delicious that I ended up buying my friend their vegan cookbook for her birthday. I know she'll love recreating these recipes.

Now this place was a dream come true!! Just when I was desperately in need of some vegetables, I stumbled upon this vegetarian meal-ready place where you could pick your hearty servings of freshly cooked farm fresh meals. It really is like a Whole Foods on steroids, and they had so many options to choose from from soups to stews to multiple variations of salads. Irish portions are quite big, so definitely come here when you are hungry and it is so much healthier than other places. You can choose your combination of how much food you want, and get a complete meal for well under 20 euros. The seating inside is absolutely beautiful too, three levels, each so homey (like a repurposed home) with fireplaces, places for reading, outlets, plants, it was really nice. So so good - I'm sad there's no branch in the US! Would definitely 100% return.

Absolutely delicious. Had the vegetable pie and am pretty sure I don't need to eat for the rest of the day. Filling, healthy, and seriously good. I now have my eye on the Irish coffee w vegan whip and a scone. Great vegan find in Dublin.

Sometimes no matter how good the fried stuff is, your body just needs some veggies. This is where Cornucopia steps in to fill that void and provide your body with some TLC. You can mix and match your soup, stews and salads that seem to rotate depending on the day. Everything is on display at the counter and written clearly on the boards behind the counter so that you can take your pick. We had a hearty chickpea curry stew and a plate of salad that was not only delicious but gave us the veggies that we were desperately seeking on this trip.

this is seriously the best vegan restaurant i've ever been too. i was just in dublin for a week with my family (non vegan) & we visited this restaurant 3 times because we all just couldn't get enough !! the drinks are just as good as the food. i had a vanilla chai with vegan whip and it was to die for.. seriously i could drink it everyday. love that the menu changes daily so it's always something a bit different. im obsessed with the look of this place as well. lots of seating and it's just gorgeous inside, even the bathroom!everyone was so friendly & gave great suggestions when we were on the fence about something! i am so heartbroken that i won't be able to visit this place anytime i want, or else i would be there everyday!

We walked across Dublin to try Cornucopia and weren't disappointed! All four of give five stars for breakfast dishes from salads to homemade yogurt, granola and berry's!

Outstanding vegan and gluten-free options! While Dublin has many options, Cornucopia has the best by far! My wife and I ate here four different times during our two and a half day stay in Dublin. They have breakfast, lunch/dinner and dessert options. If you're in Dublin and are vegan and or gluten-free, you owe it to yourself to stop in here at least once!

We loved Cornucopia so much that we forgot to take pictures! My mom (a non-vegan) also enjoyed the food, which were all very nicely portioned. Dessert was amazing - and my favorite part of the visit!

Enchilada, sprouts salad and potato salad with hazelnuts

My friend and I had a lovely experience at Cornucopia in Dublin. After having a plethora of meat pies and ales all throughout our trip we decided to veg it out. The location was great for where we were going so we popped in for lunch. The only trouble was deciding what to get! I settled on a vegetable enchilada, the potato salad with hazelnuts and the sprouts salad. After ordering at the counter we went upstairs to find a table. Although it was busy we were able to find a spot. The upstairs was like being in someone's living room. It was very cozy yet very beautiful. We both really enjoyed the food. The potato salad was so unique--I would have never thought that hazelnuts would go in potato salad but I absolutely loved it. The enchilada was also very good but I could have done without the sprouts salad, it was forgettable. Overall, the flavors were all interesting and made eating vegetarian a joy. My friend bought their cookbook and after I got back home stateside I ordered the cookbook too so I didn't have to lug it on my suitcase! Since then I have made multiple recipes but one of my favorites continues to be the spinach and potato soup--yum! My sister and her boyfriend went to Dublin and I excitedly told them to eat here as well. They thanked me for the recommendation since they really enjoyed it too. When I am back in Dublin I will certainly eat here again.

This is probably my favorite vegan restaurant in Ireland. One of my friends that accompanied me on my trip was a vegan and thoroughly researched all the vegan spots. This place was highly recommend, so we had to check it out. The restaurant is located inside of what looks like it used to be an old house. Each room is unique and has cool furniture to add to the cool vibes of this place. There is also an upstairs that one can sit if the bottom is full, which it often is. The best part is definitely the food. I was amazed at how many options were offered and how creative the food they made was. Everything was delicious and prepared with care. They also had excellent juices and coffees to round off your meal! Even if you aren't a vegan, this place is worth a visit!

If you are vegetarian or vegan, this is fantastic food at a great price. The folks behind the counter give very generous servings, so honestly the small plate is more than adequate. It's a no-frills place, cafeteria style, rather than a place for table service. There is no set menu, they cook what is fresh, seasonal and available, and in the evening after 7pm, they stop cooking any more food and what's left is what's available. From the dinner items I had, the rice & yellow dal was fantastic, as was the turmeric potato bake. I didn't like the chickpea + spinach dish wax much, but that cause of a personal taste preference for creamed spinach rather than boiled, as was the case with this dish. They have takeaway containers (foil) which I availed myself of, as couldn't finish everything on my plate. Overall great food at a great price, so recommend! Yelp 119 / 2019

The menu isn't all that complex--they have the usual meal with rice, lentils and a few vegetables and all you have to do is tell them if you want the small, medium, or the large plate. I went for the medium one (pictured below) and trust me, it's so filling, you'd find it difficult to walk back home. What's even cooler about this place is that they have really beautiful artwork all around you'd particularly relate to if you grew up in India. They're also super affordable at 5 euro for the small plate and 9 for the medium one. Solid 5/5.

Every bite tasted like it came straight from a cherished family recipe. This cozy, family-run restaurant radiates warmth and hospitality from the moment you walk in -- you instantly feel like part of the family. The hummus and baba ghanoush are out of this world: creamy, fresh, and full of flavor. The shawarma was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the Lebanese potatoes were crisped to perfection with just the right touch of garlic and spice. We finished with strong, fragrant Lebanese coffee and flaky, melt-in-your-mouth baklava -- the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Every dish was clearly made with love and attention to detail. It's the kind of hidden gem you feel lucky to discover. Tucked away in Dublin, this place deserves far more attention. And as if the food weren't reason enough to fall in love, the lovely lady proprietor is warm, welcoming -- and a Metallica fan! Seriously, how cool is that? Highly, highly recommend!

Usually, the dining room comprises an underground hideaway that is quite sleek and intimate. However, due to the lockdown measures, we had to do outdoor seating directly on William Street while we were there. The experience was still beautiful, thanks to the surrounding scenery. The cocktails were grand between the P61 Signature Cocktail and the Hugo -- both prosecco-based cocktails. The former was delicious between the peach puree and prosecco, while the latter was a little more tart with the elderflower cordial. For dinner, we kicked things off with gluten-free bread with a trio of dips that were quite tasty. The Tortellini I ordered was exquisite and scrumptious with how it was prepared between the goat cheese, asparagus, red onion, wilted spinach, cream sauce, and bacon. I applauded this lovely dish with the last bite. I devoured the warm almond flour brownie for dessert, served with chocolate sauce and gelato, which my wife could also enjoy since the dish was gluten-free. Fortunately, it turned out there was ample to choose from, including Sova Vegan Butcher (a quick walk from our hotel, near the Iveagh Gardens). Sova Vegan Butcher is a slightly higher dining experience than most of what you'll find in Dublin. This doesn't mean that you need to get too dressy, but rather that the presentation is a higher game (and dishes are a little higher in cost). We made reservations when we first arrived on recommendation from a couple sources we looked into. Our last day in Dublin, we headed to the restaurant and were seated on the second floor. Their space is about average size for Dublin, and they were busy but with pretty regular turn over in tables. Seeing a caesar salad was available, I of course had to try that as one of our shared dishes. We also got the soya schnitzels, and the split pea soup for a starter. The soup was good, but about your standard flavor profile. However, the caesar salad was excellent. It had a really large portion of avocado, tempeh rounds, and a good rendition on the dressing. The soya schnitzels were quite good as well. They were served with a duchess potato and delicious tartare sauce. While we were quite full from all of this, we decided to treat ourselves to dessert (it being our last night out in Dublin). That night, the dessert was a cheesecake with strawberries and blueberries, served in a cute mason jar. It wasn't the best cheesecake I've had, but I appreciated the presentation that went into it. Would definitely recommend Sova for someone traveling through Dublin, especially if you're getting tired of some of the standard (burger-type) vegan fare you'll often find elsewhere.
