    Italian Pastrami sub

This Market has almost every edible from Italy and the Middle East, including (drum roll) Italian Pastrami, which is not at all like kosher pastrami. You can read all about it at John tanner bbq blog, just search "cornucopia"

Saturday 11/11/2023 My friend highly recommended this spot for their Italian pastrami sandwich which he regarded as "the best sandwich ever". The service was solid but based on what I had heard and saw it really seems like the customer service is very friendly and great. I got the Italian pastrami sandwich which ended up being 15$ which is pretty expensive in my opinion for a smaller sandwich. I didn't think the sandwich was the "best ever" (like my friend said) but it was still good nonetheless.

Walking in I was thrown off because it wasn't the typical deli or food store, there are a lot of products in a small space. But once I adjusted, and saw all the Italian ingredients they had I was half sold. The owner had the kindest way about him, over all good energy. He made me to delicious cannolis and a sandwich. I have tried the Pastrami Sandwhich and Bresaola, I enjoyed both. That huge because I have always not like sandwiches but these are different the bread is fresh and the balsamic vinegar is good quality. I will say I think there may be a lack of consistency in with how the sandwiches are based on what ingredients are there. The products are more expensive than they would be at the grocery store by a significant amount. That's not to say I would never buy from there again, but I would only get items I can't get anywhere else.

I love this place so much you have no idea. The best Italian sandwiches you can get out of Italy, and the store has so many unique Italian things you can't get anywhere else. The owner is such a sweetheart and saves snacks for neighborhood dogs. I bring visitors here all the time

Sfogliatelle. Just gorgeous. Filled with beautiful orange-flavored ricotta.

You want an experience? Visit this place ASAP! The owner is so unbelievably kind and truly enjoys sharing simple, beautiful food with his customers. He will hand crank his deli slicer and create the most delicious sandwiches. Picked up some coffee from different regions of Italy. Just an amazing experience and place. I wish I had this place back home. Very warm and welcoming.

This place is a hidden gem in Bethesda ^ I went for their sfogliatella and cannolis after seeing reviews and was not disappointed ! The cannoli filling is added freshly by the store clerk and absolutely delicious! You can by them by the piece as well^ If you're in Bethesda you must stop by ^ They also have a huge variety of cookies that u can ask to try before buying ^ Edit: sfogliatella ... 4.99 Cannoli ...4.99

Fresh food, lovely desserts. A little pricey, but it's understandable when everything is so fresh and good. I love the baguettes especially.

Delicious fresh sandwiches. Was a tad pricey and their Italian cookies are good but not worth what they charge.

I was for the first time there today. It was too expensive. I payed 32,00$ for the four sfogliatellas and the five biscuits.

From fresh groceries to specialty imported goods, this place has it all--and at prices that are **more than reasonable**! One of the best things about this market is its **unique selection**. I was thrilled to find **specialty chocolates and desserts** that I had been searching for everywhere else with no luck. The fact that they carry such rare and delicious treats makes this place a must-visit for anyone who appreciates Mediterranean flavors. Another huge plus? **Convenient street parking** makes it easy to stop by, whether you're grabbing groceries or picking up some amazing prepared foods to enjoy at home. The gentleman was friendly and patient as we explored all the Turkish goods. I ended up grabbing Turkish coffee, Turkish delights (regular/original flavor), and some savory pickled peppers. We enjoyed everything we got. The coffee was tasty, the delights were delicious - a must try - and the peppers were full of flavors that will blow your mind. I plan to visit again when I'm in the area. Don't pass the market without stopping to grab yourself something. Your tastebuds will thank you.

I have been going to Balducci's since it switched over from Sutton Place gourmet many many years…read moreago. Balducci's always had consistently high-quality food and specialty food. Since being acquired by Safeway/Albertsons, the "specialty", in a specialty store, has pretty much vanished. I still do believe that their bistro meals, ordered with care, can be a budget, friendly, yes, I do mean budget, friendly, alternative to fast food (herb, roasted turkey dinner with fingerling potatoes and green beans are $16 and can last for two meals) Their carrot cake, has always been exceptional and remains so The disappointing part is how Balducci's now stocks basically Safeway products and up charges considerably for them. (perfect example is their prepared coleslaw. ) Items like cucumber salad, herring nibs, and other items have disappeared in favor of commercially packaged items. I always found their fish to be fresh and flavorful, but now I have seen a decline in the quality of their fish. Recently , I went to get one of their wonderful cups of coffee and found that that Service no longer is available. I guess things change. However, I don't feel the change at Balducci's has been for the better
