The prices are okay in lighter items if looking to save calories and money. Best reason to go to the airport in town because there's not much else. It's located inside the entrance to the terminal or whatever building it is. The building is actually pretty small making it easy to find the bar and restaurant. Get cheap cocktails. It's $6 to get the Tito's Punch. Entrees are kind of pricy to be honest. It's about $9 for the Garden Salad. Has the basic toppings in it. Spend a few bucks more to put on the vegetarian chicken strips. Among the rest of the menu it's pretty meaty. There's chicken sandwiches and wraps among other things. For sure it's great if you like aviation. It's closed Mondays and only open for breakfast and lunch Sundays. They're open longer the rest of the week.

There was a large group there, but plenty of tables available. The tables/booths do need so updating as they are starting to show the signs of age. Open ceiling, standard bar décor, patio area, view of the runway... This is a standard bar and grill. Nothing fancy. As for the food. I ordered the mozzarella sticks and the Black N Blue Brisket Burger. The cheese sticks were of decent size, had an okay flavor. I feel they were a little over cooked, but they were still good. The burger was above average. Definitely better than anything you get at a fast food restaurant and the fries were also above average. Over all the food isn't anything wowing, but it's good and I did enjoy my meal. Now here's the selling points: !) for all of my Gluten Free peeps out there. They can replace the bread on any sandwich with a gluten free wrap for a $3 upcharge. 2) Everyone one of their signature drinks can be made alcohol free, thus turning them into Mocktails. I ordered a blackberry hibiscus mule mocktail and my friend got the same with alcohol. We both thought they were delicious. Our service was good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We had no issues. I think this might be a regular stop for the both of us.

They were served fresh from the fryer, and somehow held the heat quite well - better than the usual fast food fare. I agree, the breading was out of this world in terms of lightness - it was very good, and the chicken tasted fresh and good. I found the fries to be good as well. The Cole slaw could have used something more - it was a bit on the bland side. Give yourself some time, take the drive, and try the place out. The server was quite pleasant. Came at lunch and we got seats at the bar. It's got enough room that you could bring a group. There's also more dining on another side so plenty of tables. Has pretty much what's expected at a tavern as far as drinks and food. It's about $5 for the cheapest cocktails, so okay prices. The best one of these we had was the Wheatley Vodka Club, which is ironically pretty simple. It's $11 for the Beyond Burger. This comes with lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. Fries are on the side or you can get something else. The rest of the menu is pretty meaty with things like burgers, hot dogs, and the Italian beef sandwiches. Has a lot of things to like here. It's located in a historic building and is one of the more happening places in town. There's even a few things for vegans and vegetarians.
